When times are tough, it's nice to have a mom you can rely on. And no one knows that better than William Levy, who's turned his madre into his personal chauffeur!
The 31-year-old hunk recently lost his license after not following up on a red light speeding ticket. But clearly, that hasn't phased him one bit. Instead of fighting to get his driving privileges back, Levy handed the keys to dear old mom.
And William’s mommy isn't behind the wheel of just any gas guzzler. The paparazzi cams spotted her scooting sonny boy around in a brand new red Ferrari!
If you ask us, it does seem like a pretty ridiculous scenario. If Levy can fork out enough dough for a top-of-the-line ride, he must be able to afford a simple traffic ticket. Perhaps it’s time for mama to ground him.
Would you ever let your mom be your personal driver? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Before she was the last to be eliminated on 'Mira Quién Baila,' Mexican-American actress and model Elizabeth Gutiérrez received a very special visit from Cuban model and actor William Levy. The surprise wasn't so much for her as for the public, apparently, but it was great to see the pair look so in love again after such a tumultuous couple of years.
As we all know, their 8-year relationship has been strained, to say the least. The couple announced in May that their relationship was over after a lawsuit alleging Levy had sex with a minor. Levy denies any sexual abuse and is suing for $10 million in the case.
We recently talked to Gutiérrez about their relationship.
AOL Latino: You were surprised by William Levy. Did you expect, or even suspect, that he would show? Was it weird?Elizabeth Gutierrez: I think maybe it was a surprise for you all, who knows? Actually it was a really nice surprise. I know that he's busy working on the weekends, so for him to take the time for me really means a lot to me.
AOL Latino: Was the fact he was here showing you support and embracing you during the elimination important to you?
Elizabeth Gutierrez: Yes, of course. We've always supported each other through the good and bad and in all the adventures of both our careers, which we paved together. We're always there for each other.
AOL Latino: Why do you think it's difficult for you both to talk about you being a couple. Is there a reason you've chosen not to?
Elizabeth Gutierrez: What happens is that the more we talk, the more the press tends to dig and sometimes invent things. So one just prefers to protect one's self and not speak so openly as we might've before.
AOL Latino: Do you imagine anyone other than William Levy being a father to your kids?

If the tabloids are right, there might just be a new leading backup man in Jennifer Lopez's life.
The recently separated Multitasker from the Block has had an unarguably interesting and amusing year, between the split with Marc Anthony, filming of features including "Parker," and "What To Expect When You're Expecting," emotional performances at casinos, appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair, romance rumors with searingly dull Bradley Cooper and cute but inadvisable William Levy, not to mention launching an online digital video series version of teen gossip mag Tiger Beat with some serious digital types, and attaching her name to a reality TV series about tow trucks.
Now she's heating up the inter-tubes with word that she's got her hands on yet another backup dancer (In the words of a toddler I know and love: "AGAIN?"), relatively unknown 24 year-old Casper Smart. (Real name? BAH! I will eat my hat.)
So what gives?
Smart, who claims to be 5'8" and 160 lbs on his website, has also made appearances on the "This is It" World Tour, on "Glee", and in Honey 2 and "Step Up 3D". Impressive. I also hear he's a dancer at Los Angeles' super-swanky English-manor-house-themed Boulevard Club. For me, this conjures delightful images of the Bronx Bombshell selecting him from among the shirtless go-go boys. Maybe she called him to her private room... "You will be my temporary boo, little man. Follow." (Cut to her people doing rush background checks.)
Okay no, so seriously, how the pair actually got to talking is anyone's guess, and what they have in common can probably be summed up by the word "abs." On the other hand it could be that itty bitty wiry guys just do it for JLo. Whatever. The pint-size dancing duo officially met at work, when the Los Angeles, California-based Smart krumped, popped and locked in JLo's wake during live shows, including "American Idol.
But it seems the notoriously romantic star is not quite ready for her next Big Romance. "An insider says their relationship is "nothing serious." says US Weekly's secret source, in an article "Jennifer Lopez Dating Sexy Dancer Casper Smart: Cris Judd 2.0?" (Notice it's not called "JLo Dating Smart Dancer Casper Sexy". Just sayin'...):
So is Jenny saving all her love for Bradley Cooper? Maybe, maybe not:
Lopez "liked the thrill and the fact that Bradley has been pursuing her," but a source says she "has really been trying to concentrate on her kids and work. But Bradley has been especially eager."
We have another theory for you. Maybe JLo's having a little fun with Casper to make herself look better to Cooper? TMZ has some cutie-pie pictures of the two this summer in the Ukraine, and the following suggestive little note:
According to our sources, Lopez and Smart spent the first few months as "just friends" -- flirting, talking and just hanging out -- but lately they've been touchy-feely in front of JLo's other dancers.
Yoo hoo, Bradley - are you watching? We are!

Who doesn't love those classic action buddy movies? There's Rush Hour with Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte, and now a possible project starring William Levy and Jencarlos Canela.
Granted, this concept is still in the very early development stages and both Levy and Canela haven't even agreed to star. But if Brazilian producer Frederico Lapenda has his way, the two Cuban hunks could soon be kicking butt at a theater near you.
Right now, Lapenda's resume includes mostly straight-to-DVD fare, but he certainly knows the action genre. Frederico has already produced four fist-pumping movies this year, including The Hammer, Man Vs. Machine, and Blood Out.
So what script ideas could he be planning for William and Jencarlos? Apparently it would be about two best friends who go on a global adventure and get caught up with corrupt cops. Sounds intriguing to us and a lot more macho than starring in a sappy novela.
Do you think Levy and Canela would make good action stars? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Most men only dream of the type of traffic stop William Levy goes through in his new Sabritas commercial. While sitting in his car munching potato chips, the Cuban hunk gets pulled out and frisked by a sexy female officer.
Obviously he doesn't seem to mind one bit and flashes that trademark Levy smile right back to the cameras. It's all a rather cheesy concept, but something tells us it’ll help sell a lot of Sabritas bags.
The gag of the spot is, the lady cop takes William's chips and leaves him alone by the car. Filmed entirely in Spanish, we expect it to play big on bilingual prime time and it's already appearing virally on several Español sites.
And to be honest, Levy does make a decent pitchman. Perhaps if this campaign does well, Gillette Razors can hire him for promos on how to properly shave your head!

Hispanic Heritage Month is in full bloom and this past week, even more notable Latinos received honors at the HHM Award ceremony in Washington D.C. Stars like Juanes, Eugenio Derbez and Luis Enrique made very memorable appearances at the Thursday event, but none got more attention than honoree Roberto Gomez Bolaños, aka "Chespirito!"
Roberto has been entertaining audiences across Latin America for over 50 years and the crowd seemed thrilled to have him at the event. Known for his childlike "Chespirito" character, the 82-year-old Bolaños suffered several heart attacks in recent years and has been keeping a low public profile.
In fact, many thought he would not show up in person to receive his Hispanic Heritage Award honor. But proving that he's still ever the prankster, Roberto surprised everyone by appearing on stage alongside his wife Florinda Meza.
To add to the fake-out, "Chespirito" even recorded a faux video that was played for the live audience. In it, he apologized for not being there in person because of health complications. But as the lights went on, there he was, smiling in his wheelchair.
"Thank you, thank you so much, this is incredibly beautiful," he tearfully said from the stage. "This award is a huge distinction that I appreciate for all its value. It is immense for me."
Another surprise appearance came from Juanes, who also has been very low pro since "taking a break" from music a few months back. Now sporting longer hair and a rather dapper suit, he showed up to accept the evening’s Vision Award.
Legendary musician Ruben Blades was on hand as well and spoke passionately from the stage about the ongoing immigrant struggles in America. Tr3s faves William Levy (still sporting the chrome dome) and Maite Perroni hosted the event, which honored notable Latinos in the fields of entertainment, sports, business, and medicine.
Which Latinos do you feel deserve to be honored this month? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

The verdict is in. People En Español readers have voted Jencarlos Canela as their choice for the Sexiest Man of 2011. Readers were asked to elect their favorite among the 15 candidates featured in their October issue by voting online at the magazine's website.
This hunky singer/actor has proven to be a favorite among People en Español readers after being also picked as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People of 2011, as well as one of the most well-dressed men of 2011. He was number 26 on the Most Beautiful People list, ranking higher than William Levy and Sofía Vergara.
Jencarlos has been quite the busy bee lately, and I don't just mean by focusing on his looks. He continues to work on the Telemundo telenovela Mi corazón insiste...en Lola Volcán and on promoting his latest album, Un Nuevo Dia, which features Pitbull and El Catá joining him on the hit "Baila, Baila."
Canela beat actors William Levy and Mark Tacher for the top spot in People's recent sexy list. With so many beefcakes to choose from, it was quite the honor!
Would you have voted Jencarlos Canela as People in Español s Sexiest Man of 2011, or does someone else deserve that spot?

It seems William Levy will not be baring it after all. The Cuban actor has turned down the role of male stripper he was offered in Magic Mike, a movie based on Channing Tatum's experience as a stripper before he got into acting.
Sorry ladies, I guess you'll have to wait a bit more before seeing this sexy soap opera star in a thong. Levy decided to not participate in this project and opted instead to hold out for other roles. His manager, Gladys González, confirmed he was made an offer but declined. He would rather pursue other avenues in the acting world.
The Steven Soderberg film is filled with Hollywood hotties, including the ever-shirtless Matthew McConaughey and White Collar's Matt Bomer. Qué guapos! Channing Tatum is also in the film and will play Magic Mike, the starring role. Alex Pettyfer is also in the movie and will play Channing Tatum's 19 year old self.
Magic Mike is still filled with gorgeous hunks, so don't let Levy's absence discourage you. Get your dollar bills ready!

It looks like William Levy really is ready to make his mark on Hollywood. And, according to Just Jared, he's looking to do it wearing nothing but a g-string! News just broke that William will be playing a male stripper alongside Matthew McConaughey in the new movie, Magic Mike.
Now keep in mind, this isn't some cheesy straight-to-DVD affair. Magic Mike happens to be helmed by Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh, who’s directed movies like Traffic and Che.
Not only that, Magic Mike is boasting one of the hottest male casts in Hollywood. I Am Number Four’s Alex Pettyfer is on board, as is Channing Tatum. The story is apparently based around Tatum's real experiences as a male exotic dancer.
Seeing how Levy loves going shirtless, this seems like a perfect vehicle for him. Plus, we're sure it will "expose" him to a brand new female audience. Look for Magic Mike to hit theaters in 2012.
