Demi Lovato recently stopped by the KIIS FM studios in Los Angeles to premiere her new single Skyscraper. The single hit the top ten Billboard charts and after some time-off at a treatment center.
All the good energy surrounding Demi's new project should be giving even more inspiration in the studio. So I had to get the scoop for my Tr3s familia to find out which Latino Artist she would like to collaborate with one day? Find out who her pick was in the video below:

There has been way too much hype lately about the release of Lady Gaga's Judas video. Was the buzz worth the wait? We expected it to be controversial, mostly because of its religious connotation and its timing -after Easter.
Some even question if it would top Madonna's Like a Prayer video which shocked the world back in '89, even causing Pepsi to yank their Madge commercials after only 2 airings! If anyone could top that kind of shock nowadays of course it's Lady Gaga. Did she shock us as much as Madonna did back in the day?
The video is already out and we can debate about it. For the record, it seems like Judas is still a traitor!
Since Gaga's first hit Just Dance hit the charts, she's had nothing but hit after hit after hit, taking the music industry by storm. We were all wondering in the back of our mind, will any of her songs ever flop?
After the 'Judas' kiss, I think her time has come! Not only this song isn't one of her best, just as disappointing seems to be the ever awaited video! Apparently it has not met the expectations.
Even though she has bikers and crowns with thorns (just like in the Like a Prayer video), it seems like Gaga came short of a considerable shock factor. Not a good sign if you're thinking of topping Madonna just yet. Don't get me wrong, I am a big Lady Gaga fan and also a big Madonna fan, I'm just worried that Lady Gaga's innovative originality might be wearing out a bit by trying to be too much like Madonna.
First, her last single Born This Way has alot of similarities to Express Yourself. You can almost sing Madonna's lyrics to Gaga's music! And now the Judas video where Gaga's boyfriend is not a black Jesus, but Jesus' backstabbing best friend! Miss Gaga needs to know that she is a fantastic artist for her originality and her uniqueness, and there is no need to imitate her majesty The Queen of Pop Shock, Madonna.
The video really doesn't show us something different, with a Mary Magdalene-Biker Lady Gaga, a few dance numbers...nothing we haven't seen before. There are great visuals as always, but nothing that made me say... 'Oh No She Didn't!'
So did Judas' kiss make Gaga betray her original identity? Will this be Lady Gaga's first flop? The Billboard Hot 100 Charts seem to confirm it: Judas openned at number #10 and now it scooped to #20, lower than her previous single (Born This Way #16).
What do you think of Gaga's Judas video?

Yes, we know “Machete’s” been out for over a week now (and still hitting the Top 5 in the box office countdown), but it’s never too late to give an “official” Blogamole review. Keep in mind, when WE see films, we don’t base it on artistic cinematography, historical accuracy, or delicate nuances like those other frou frou critics. We just want to know if a movie kicked butt, and “Machete” definitely did!
First off, Academy Awards can you at least CONSIDER Danny Trejo for a Best Actor nomination here? The man is 66 years old (can you believe it?) and still taking his shirt off for insane fight scenes, motorcycle stunts, and a sword showdown with Steven Seagal! Not only that, he really delivers a great performance that’s subtle, emotional, and even somewhat tragic (yes, there are tears here people!)
And how about the rest of the actors? Truly top notch! We love it when people like Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez resurrect stars from years past for hard-edged roles. This time Robert’s assembled Don Johnson, Steven Seagal, and Cheech Marin and cast them all against type. He even stuck in former “Spy Kid” Daryl Sabara as a tough little cholo!
There’s also great work from Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan (making full use of the movie’s R-Rating) and Robert De Niro as an evil Senator we all love to hate. And from behind the scenes, Rodriguez has promoted his longtime editor, Ethan Maniquis, to co-director status (very cool).
As discussed in our video clip interviews, the plot definitely has some immigration undertones, but never references anything like SB 1070 directly. Instead it mixes in a revenge tale of double crosses, long knives, and car wrecks with political bad guys looking to capitalize and profit on the Texas border issues.
Watch the clip below to see what else director Robert Rodriguez had to say about the film!

||||||||
We actually think this approach helps the movie succeed even more. Rather than beat people over the head with an overt political message, Rodriguez and Maniquis focus on making the movie entertaining first and foremost. But those following the deeper plot can leave with immigration conversational points that are unfortunately much more real than our anti-hero “Machete.”

Just because you live in Miami, doesn’t’ mean you can’t enjoy the glitz and glam of Hollywood. Just ask Karina, who happens to be a major fan of classic movie icons like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. When it came time to plan her Quinceanera, guess what theme she was going for?
(Click for more photos from Karina's Quinces!)
With a little help from her parents and older sisters, Karina’s set on creating a birthday celebration full of top hats, red carpets, and paparazzi cameras. But as we know with all “Quiero Mis Quinces” episodes, it’s easier said than done. Before she becomes the star attraction, Karina’s going to have to put in A LOT of “pre-production” work.
Luckily she comes from a tight-knit Cuban family, so everyone (including abuelita) is getting a task to help carry out Karina's dream quinces. Mom’s helping pick the ballroom, her BFFs are helping pick the movie posters, and older sis is getting the keys to her rich boss’s classic car.
Will it all come together? There are a few glitches (which we won’t spoil here), but the big day arrives and the birthday girl’s in high spirits. Karina’s got a gorgeous white dress, her Dad lifted the boyfriend ban, and she even hit her perfect “Quinces” weight.
But none of that compares to the excitement of the party itself. Stepping out of a gorgeous classic car, having her court dressed in tuxes and glamorous dresses, and choreographing a perfect Hollywood dance routine drove the crowd wild! It’s obvious that Karina was born to be a star and we expect to see big things from her in the years ahead (are you listening Robert Rodriguez?).
Watch the FULL EPISODE below!

Did you miss Monday's episode of "Quiero Mis Quinces"? We've got you covered: Tr3s was behind the scenes during Mariah's epic event and we've brought you some of the best moments right here on Blogamole, including the full episode! Enjoy — and don't miss our next quinceañera on Monday (August 30) at 7 PM ET!

Maria Cecilia dreams of having the spiciest Mexican Quinceañera possible… in Durham, North Carolina. Coming from an old fashioned Mexican family, y con una hermana mayor que festejó sus quinces en México, they have certain traditions that they want to uphold. But Maria is determined to get things done her way!
In Monday's episode of "Quiero Mis Quinces," Maria y su familia visit their homeland every Summer, cook traditional meals, and listen to Mexican music that keeps their roots close to their hearts. Even if her family thinks she’s weird because she enjoys reading books and is strictly vegetarian, Maria’s very close to them and her herencia mexicana. But she also values her bi-cultural lifestyle, and wants to bring both worlds together at her fiesta de quinces.

Every quinceañera wants her big day to be all about her. And how will Maria keep all eyes focused on the big day? Well, by being the only dama in her court, of course! According to Maria, “too many damas bring too much drama.” Instead, she gathers nine chambelanes to be her escorts. Yes, that’s right, nueve!

Get ready for some bad behavior, as we bring you Belinda’s new music video “Lolita,” which premiered exclusively on Tr3s and MTVLA on August 23! This upbeat pop-rock track will be the theme song for MTV Latin America’s new soap "Niñas Mal," debuting in September, and coming to Tr3s in 2011.
We’ve already given you a sneak peek, pero ya llegó el vidéo completo! Watch now as Belinda and the actresses from the new telenovela wreak havoc in “Lolita.”
Mexican actresses Isabel Burr and Carmen Aub, y la actriz colombiana Jéssica San Juan, join Belinda for what looks like the very fun-filled taping of this video. The girls get to ride motorcycles, toss up a convenience store, and push a cute nerdy boy around. Al pobre chico lo maltratan bastante, throwing drinks and spilling candy all over him on the floor. Que abuso!
Hasta Belinda gets in on the travesuras, swinging her mic at the speakers around her and setting off sparks. She sings, “soy tu perdición, te rompo el corazón, la la la Lolita,” and if that’s any indication of what’ll be going down in "Niñas Mal," we must be in for some juicy storylines!
La telenovela se trata de un grupo de chicas attending a wealthy private school and, as the name suggests, behaving quite badly. As a popular term for young girls who do things they shouldn’t, “Lolita” resulta el tema perfecto para "Niñas Mal."
Belinda’s had her share of the bad girl streak lately, also guest starring opposite William Levy para la más reciente temporada de Mujeres Asesinas. We definitely like this rebellious, grown-up Belinda!
Que piensan ustedes? Let us know what you think of “Lolita” and Belinda in the comments or @MTV3!

For anyone doubting the power of a 3D dance flick, bow down! The release of "Step Up 3D" went way beyond expectations, passing the $30 million mark since opening day (August 6). As dance fans, we've been tagging along for all the parties and red carpet events.
Check out some of the exclusive footage Tr3s got from the “Step Up 3D” premiere at L.A.’s El Capitan theatre. The Argentinian Lombard twins (who were absolute scene stealers) gave us some bilingual insight into their memorable onscreen moments. “We improvised most of our scenes and that was amazing,” they revealed.
Leading man Rick Malambri also stopped by to chat about how grueling the dance process really was. He told us, “We went through a month and a half of six days a week, 10 hours a day. Full on choreography…personal training, weight training, you name it! It was intense.”

Si eres fan de la música electro-norteña que nos brindan Bostich & Fussible of Nortec Collective, we have great news for you! On September 14 they’ll release their follow-up to their Grammy-nominated Tijuana Sound Machine, which will be titled Bulevar 2000.
The new album follows Bostich & Fussible’s tale of the Tijuana sound machine, a car driving through this ciudad mexicana, this time through a newly constructed avenue, Bulevar 2000. Esta avenida is a direct route through and out of the city, but it’s also very notoriously dangerous. As is their trademark theme, Bostich & Fussible strive to share multiple perspectives de las experiencias de la vida en Tijuana.

El primer sencillo será “I Count The Ways," a very lyrical track featuring vocals by Kylee Swenson of San Francisco-based electro pop band Loquat. The album also features a rare acoustic track by Fussible called “Last Night in Slussen,” about a neighborhood in Stockholm where Nortec has been very well received.
When we caught up with the guys at this year’s LAMC, they already had an idea about what was coming in the near future. They teased us with news of the new album (el cual todavía estaban grabando en el momento), and also talked about their new upcoming world tour.

You’d think a boxing tomboy and an elegant Quinceanera wouldn’t mix, right? Well after watching Angelica, it’s plain to see that nothing could be further than the truth. You don’t have to be a makeup-wearing “girly-girl” to pull off a glamorous "Quiero Mis Quinces" party and this episode’s the proof!
Growing up in Texas as an only child, Angelica is definitely what you’d call a “Daddy’s girl.” She loves her mom and hanging with her girlfriends, but where she feels most comfortable is sparring in the ring with her tough-as-nails Papi.

And Angelica’s boxing training isn’t just a casual hobby, she’s a fierce competitor who’s got a serious shot at the 2012 Olympics! But underneath of the body blows and uppercuts, there’s still a sweet 15-year-old birthday girl who really wants a special Quinceanera celebration.
How’s it going to happen? First the dress. Angelica’s mom hooked up a gorgeous green ensemble that shows off the real beauty behind that tomboy smile. Sure walking in heels takes a little getting used to, but she’s determined to give her guests the full, glamorous package.
Then the photo shoot. In a true “QMQ” first, we’ve got a birthday girl made up beautifully and flashing a championship boxing belt! And how about the choreography? With a little help from rising fighter, Roberto Marroquin, Angelica’s got a dance that’s guaranteed to be a “knock out.”
