Thalía has had an incredibly full life in her 40 years. From her career as a child singer, to her novela superstardom, to her life as a music mogul wife, we can only imagine the amazing stories she has to tell. And in her new book, Growing Stronger, she's opening up about everything.

One of the chapters getting the most attention concerns the 2002 kidnapping of her sisters Laura and Ernestina. Thalía spoke very candidly about the incident and hoped her recollections could help inspire others.

"That experience was very tough for my family," she told the Huffington Post. "That's why I include this story [in Growing Stronger] because I want readers to be inspired. Everybody has their own story, everybody has their own journey. In this book, I'm portraying a journey of perseverance and empowerment and everybody can grow stronger from a bad moment in their life."

Thalía also happily opens up about "the love of her life" Tommy Mottola. She even recounts their first date, which was set up by Gloria Estefan's husband Emilio. Other revelations include her battle with Lyme disease and the fertility issues she dealt with before getting pregnant.

It all makes for a very interesting read and a great holiday gift for the die-hard Thalía fan in the family.

Celebrity parents seem to vary drastically these days. On the one hand, there are stars like Penélope Cruz, who go ballistic when paparazzi cams zoom in on their babies. And then there's Thalía, who seemed more than happy to show off her new son, Matthew Alejandro, to Hola! Magazine.

Posing with him pressed firmly against her chest, Thalía was all smiles on the Hola! cover shot. The little guy definitely takes after mama in the looks department, with gushing big brown eyes and a cute button nose.

Thalía raved about motherhood in her Hola! interview and even opened up about the recent death of her mother.

"I have never been so crazy in love with a man," she said, when referring to Matthew. "I know my son was born a gladiator because his first battle against pain, distress and loss was something he lived through in my belly during the last month of my pregnancy with the death of my mother."

She also expressed quite a bit of love for the rest of her tight-knit family, which includes music exec hubby Tommy Mottola and 3-year-old daughter, Sabrina.

Anyone who's followed Thalía's career, knows that she was incredible close to her mother. Yolanda Miranda managed her famous daughter for many years and her shocking death last week has left the pop star reeling. Now eight-and-a-half months pregnant, Thalía made the risky trip to Mexico City to attend her madre's funeral.

Most doctors would not advise a 39-year-old woman to fly during such an advanced stage of pregnancy. But that didn't stop Thalía from chartering a private jet with hubby Tommy Mottola. The two arrived in Mexico City hours before the scheduled funeral and, from the pictures that were published, it was clear that she was extremely distraught.

It now appears that Yolanda died as a result of a stroke. The good news is that she most likely did not suffer, but it was still completely unexpected and a devastating loss. Since the news broke, several celebrities have sent out condolence tweets to Thalía and her family.

Talk show host Cristina Saralegui posted,

"My deepest sympathies to @Thalía and her entire family on the death of her mother Yolanda Miranda. Sending love to you all."

Gloria Estefan tweeted her prayers as well,

"Our heart is hurting for this unexpected loss but the love that Yolanda, mother of @thalia, left in this world will live on forever!"

And even Paulina Rubio, who herself lost a parent this year, offered words of encouragement, in spite of her publicized differences with Thalía.

"We're with you @thalia. My greatest condolences. We know you are a warrior just like she was and you will rise above. Remember the light that you have inside and all around you. #fuerzathalia I join in prayer."

It looks like music mogul Tommy Mottola may have another chapter to write in his upcoming tell-all memoir. This week, his pop princess wife Thalia confirmed that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child!

It’s clear the mommy-to-be was overjoyed by the positive fan reaction to the news, particularly in the twitterverse. Since making her announcement, Thalia’s one million followers have been bombarding her with congratulatory tweets, some of which she retweeted.

“RT @Marcetha@thalia FELIZ FELIZ x TI MI REINA!!! :) @Thalia Y yo feliz de que esten felices con migo!!!!!Wow! Cuanta oleada de puro amor!!!”

Thalia’s newest little one, whose due date has yet to be revealed, will join the couple’s 3-year-old daughter Sabrina, as well as Mottola’s two grown children from a previous marriage. But an increasingly crowded house doesn’t seem to bother the Mexican songstress one bit.

When speaking with Latina last year, Thalia gushed about the thought of having more children. And now it looks like she got her wish. But at 61-years-old, could being a daddy for the fourth time be a burden on Tommy? Not so, says the New York Post. Their sources say he’s “delighted” about the upcoming bundle of joy.

Rich, powerful, and married to one of the hottest Latinas on the planet…Yeah, Tommy Mottola’s got a pretty good life. And with over four decades in the music business, you can be he’s got some juicy details to spill. That’s why we were very excited to hear that Thalia’s hubby is planning to publish a tell-all memoir!

Born in the Bronx to a working-class family, Mottola is truly an American success story. A college dropout, he went on to oversee acts like Jennifer Lopez, and Destiny’s Child, and by the ‘90s ran all of Sony Music. Along the way he amassed a fortune well over $100 million dollars!

We imagine his insider stories could fill up hundreds of pages, and that’s even before getting into the Thalia wedding. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Mottola’s book editor, Ben Greenberg, said,

“There will be a lot of new stories. Something about it that was interesting to me…was the way he entered the business, dropping out of college and all that. I didn’t really want it to be an inside baseball type thing where it’s only interesting to people who are really into the music industry itself, or who work in the music industry, so for it to have more of a commercial appeal, I think it’s important that he tell stories that everyone can relate to.”

Of course, Mottola’s career wasn’t entirely rosy. There were those incidents of Michael Jackson branding him a racist and a famous fallout with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Will all of that be addressed? We don’t fully know, but it will be very interesting to see how he spins each story.

Tommy Mottola’s book, “The Last Starmaker” is set to hit shelves in 2012.

Thalía has been showing off her urban side with recent opus Lunada. The hype began with her reggae-induced song “Aventurero," a beat that featured a mystery guest artist (Sean Paul anyone?). Ahora, the Mexican pop star has joined forces with El Cangri to record a remix version of hit single "Ten Paciencia." The new version is due to hit the airwaves esta semana.

While this collabo might come as una sopresa to many of her fans, it was a no brainer for the current Artist Speaking Tr3s chica:

Siempre he admirado a Daddy Yankee y su éxito. Para mí es verdaderamente emocionante hacer esto con él.
