After weeks of speculation over who would replace Charlie Sheen on "Two And A Half Men," CBS execs have officially named Ashton Kutcher as Sheen 2.0. Well kinda... Kutcher will not play the title role of Charlie Harper, rather a new addition to the Malibu Household.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, creator and Executive Producer Chuck Lorre, also the target of Sheen's rants, has crafted a storyline to introduce Kutcher in a way that satisfies both the network and studio. One source said, "It’s really funny. People are going to love it."
This is Kutcher's first return to network TV since his 2006 departure from Fox's "That 70's Show." Ashton coyly tweeted the news of his upcoming gig to fans last night.
"What's the square root of 6.25?"
While salary concerns are reportedly why Hugh Grant, Rob Lowe, John Stamos, Jeremy Piven, and Woody Harrelson passed on the Men opportunity, sources say Ashton is scheduled to take home between $625K and $900K, about half of what Sheen was making when he left the wildly popular series.
Do you think Kutcher has what it takes to replace Sheen? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Just four weeks after her three-month rehab stint for "emotional and physical issues," Demi Lovato appears to be following in the foot steps of that other Disney starlet-turned-rehabber. The Camp Rock star is reportedly dating 31-year-old Wilmer Valderrama, whose celebrity exes include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mandy Moore, Avril Lavigne and, yes, Lindsay Lohan.
The pair reportedly started dating last May, after Lovato's very public split with Joe Jonas, and have resumed their "friendship" in the last few weeks. Attempting to keep a low profile, the two have been spotted at a Whole Foods in Tarzana and, more recently, at the Sherman Oaks Galleria this weekend, according to Perez Hilton.
While the two do make an undeniably cute couple, we're not sure we get the attraction. Wilmer, who is 13 years Demi's senior, can likely provide her with some much-needed guidance and stability. But what can Demi possibly offer Wilmer?
Perhaps a career revival. The That '70s Show actor hasn't been seen much since his MTV show, Yo Momma, ended its run in 2007. Valderrama also famously dated an 18-year-old Lindsay during the height of her celebrity, after the 2004 box office hit Mean Girls, and just as his 70s Show gig was slowing down. Of course, Lindsay didn't go to rehab until three years later, in 2007, but her career began to spiral on the set of Herbie: Fully Loaded, when some attributed her negative attitude and tardiness to her break-up with Wilmer.
Could the same fate hold true for Demi? As she strives to return to a regular routine, a new relationship could hinder her progress or provoke rehab part deux for the singer. Unless, of course, their burgeoning love led to the back-up dancer beatdown that sent her to rehab in the first place. We may never know, but judging by the length of most Hollywood romances, we just hope Demi keeps herself together when it's all over.
What do you think: Is this true love or a business deal for Wilmer? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.
Our favorite Venezuelan/Colombian from 'That 70's Show' is back! This time, however, Wilmer Valderrama is putting his acting chops on hold to jump detrás de las camaras to direct an episode of Disney children's TV show 'The Imagination Movers' in New Orleans.
So how does he feel about sitting in the director's chair?
"I love it… I get to appreciate both sides now, being in front of the camera and behind the camera."
But Wilmer is no stranger to sitting in the hot seat. He previously directed the video for Omar Cruz & Frankie J's collabo "To The Top." If he keeps it up we may have the next Latino Spielberg on our hands! [AP]

Wilmer Valderrama joins the quickly growing list of Latino celeb activists with his new PETA misión.
The "That 70's Show" star has a clear message: unless it's Britney Spears' circus, he wants no part of the show. The 29-year-old just shot a PSA in order to draw attention to the plight of animals in circuses. In it, Wilmer takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the big top for a look at the lives of abused animales and urges familias to boycott these shows.
He also talks about his own experiences with the circus as a child in Venezuela. Find out his thoughts after the jump!
