Even though it's been nearly a year since Drama y Luz was released, the latest Maná album is still kicking butt on the Latin Billboard charts. So much so, that the guys are hitting the road again for another leg of their worldwide tour.

Drama y Luz 2.0 will be starting up in April at Texas' State Farm Arena and hit several more big cities after that. The Mexican rockers are planning to return to New York, Chicago, Miami, and (not surprisingly) L.A.'s Staples Center.

This will be Maná's ninth appearance at Staples, giving them the record for most concerts ever played at the arena. And it’s interesting to note that their "El Verdadero Amor Perdona" duet with Prince Royce is currently #1 on the Hot Latin Songs Chart. Could there be a surprise duet in the cards for this latest tour? You never know.

Our hope is that the guys shake it up a little and add some new songs to the set list. Maybe some oldies but goodies from Sueños Líquidos or perhaps new material they’ve been cooking up in the studio. We'll be sure to find out once the bootleg clips hit YouTube this spring.

You can find out all of Maná's latest tour dates by visiting their official site.

British singer Adele will be at this year's Grammy Awards but doctors have not yet given her the green light to perform. She underwent vocal cord surgery in November and had to cancel her remaining tour dates.

Adele is nominated in six categories, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, for her smash success, 21.

A source close to the singer told RadarOnline:

"Adele will be at the Grammys in Los Angeles on February 12 at the Staples Center. She's thrilled to be nominated, but it's been a hard time for her because of the surgery."

The source added she's talking more, with her doctor's permission.

Patients that undergo this type of surgery typically take between one and three months to recover. Apparently to help the healing process, she's putting warm compresses around her neck.

The source added,

"Producers of the Grammys would love to have Adele perform, and open the show, but she isn't able to give them an answer yet. She won't be able to give them an answer until the beginning of February, and they completely understand."

According to the buzz we'll see a slimmer star having shed 25 pounds. Doctors suggested that less junk food and more exercise would be the all-around right thing for her health, her stamina, her vocal range.

What's your favorite Adele song?

Anyone who's followed the career of Jenni Rivera knows that she's never at a loss for words. The Banda Queen always entertains when she's on the stage and proved to be quite engaging on her reality show, I Love Jenni. But now she may get paid for her gift of gab, with her own daytime talk show.

Reportedly titled El Show de Jenni Rivera, the Jenni talker would debut in October on L.A.'s Estrella TV. Similar to Oprah and Father Albert, she'd be seated on the couch and engaging with a variety of guests.

Of course that doesn't mean that Rivera's other ventures won't continue. Her Jenni Jeans line still seems to be moving forward as planned and her music career is as hot as ever.

Billboard just announced that Jenni has re-signed a very lucrative contract with Universal Records. Not only that, she's about to become the first female regional Mexican artist ever to play L.A.'s Staples Center!

Move over Kobe, Maná is leaving a major mark on the Los Angeles Staples Center. Kicking off a set of four back-to-back shows this weekend, the Mexican rockers have now tied Britney Spears as the only artists to ever headline eight concerts at the venue.

That's not all: the guys' new Drama y Luz record is the longest charting #1 Latin album of the year and their single, "Lluvia al Corazón" is the longest charting #1 Latin single. And Maná is just getting started, their tour is running through the end of July and we're sure it will sell out many more venues.

Obviously, Staples Center owners AEG Live are pretty excited about the news. If you count ticket sales, merchandising, and concessions, they stand to take home a pretty penny from Maná's upcoming shows.

"Maná is a cross cultural musical phenomenon in Southern California. The speed and amount of tickets sold for the shows at Staples Center is astonishing," AEG CEO Randy Phillips said. "They are becoming the record breaking champs and one of the most important bands in California music history."

So basically, if you live in Los Angeles and are wondering why the streets are so quiet this weekend, here's your answer. All in all, roughly 80,000 people will be packing the seats at Staples for Maná.

These days, Kobe Bryant’s got nothing on Maná. This June, the Mexican quartet will be rocking the Lakers home turf when they take over L.A.’s Staples Center for three nights of sold-out shows. And with ticket prices hitting $135 and up, you can bet Alex, Fher, Sergio, and Juan will be making a pretty penny too!

Amazingly the Maná L.A. dates sold out just hours after the tickets went on sale. And that’s only the beginning. In the past few weeks, the group’s Drama y Luz tour has begun to shape up nicely. New confirmed venues include Washington D.C.’s Patriot Center on July 14, New York’s Prudential Center on July 16, and Chicago’s Allstate Arena on July 21.

But good old Los Angeles will be the first official stateside stop. Taking place June 23-25, we imagine each night will bring a star-studded crowd. And seeing what happened at that recent L.A. Prince concert, there may be a chance you’ll see some A-list Latinas joining the guys onstage for a dance!

Be sure to check Maná’s website for all of the official tour dates.
