Our dulce chiquita Selena Gomez is using her enchanting spells for a sweet and charitable cause.

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress is gearing up for Halloween as the new spokesperson for the 2008 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign, which helps aid los niños across the globe. Selena will help the charity collect donations while also contributing to their annual trick-or-treat fiesta on October 31st.

Selena recently stated:

I am extremely excited to be this year's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson. I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world.

Word on the street travels fast! We all know the "Lovebug" rumors surrounding Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas, but is there another romantic connection between Disney estrella Demi Lovato and cantante Joe Jonas?

Rumors pinning Demi and Joe as the new down-low couple started crawling up the grapevine after the pair co-starred as love interests in the Disney flick "Camp Rock." In addition, la chica collaborated with the "Burnin' Up" singer for her debut album "Don't Forget." Despite their professional hook-ups the 16-year-old assures that they are NOT an item.

She states to Entertainment Weekly:

Joe and I never dated. We're really good friends. I just think it's funny that people try to pin me to them. It's like, Oh, come on! I think [if I were going to], I would have dated one of them by now!

She adds:

Any girl that is a friend of the Jonas Brothers gets hate mail and is automatically suspected as a girlfriend.

We spotted Selena Gomez cheering for her novio Nick Jonas on-stage (with a standing ovation!) at "Dancing With The Stars" last week, but we hear that the estrella was also "Burnin' Up" for someone else...

It turns out Selena was also cheering for Kim Kardashian! The 16-year-old Disney actress admits that she is rooting for the reality star to win the competition. Word is that la chiquita will be voting non-stop for the curvaceous brunette.

Luckily, that isn't the only way Gomez is choosing to spend her time. Besides actively supporting UR Votes Count, the "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" singer is also representing for the AmberWatch charity.

She spent quality time with lucky fans over the weekend...

And even rocked out a softball game!

Disney estrellas Selena Gomez and Adrienne Bailon are used to stealing the spotlight with their natural belleza, but who trumps the red carpet for our latest Estilo Throwdown?! The "Another Cinderella Story" actress was rocking her real life cenicienta beauty at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party last night.

Selena modeled a black 80's inspired-prom dress with matching peep-toe shoes. The chicana finished-off the look with natural makeup and loose curls.

The "Cheetah Girls" songstress was also captured exercising her retro sense of style in a pink form-fitting dress paired with gold sandals. Instead of rocking her fly novio Robert Kardashian as arm-candy, the star was flying solo with a multi-colored purse at hand.

Selena and Adrienne are flawless ladies, but there can only be one winner in this throwdown. YOU BE THE JUDGE!

Selena Gomez caught liplocking someone other than Nick Jonas?! The teen estrella admits to getting a little smooch action in her latest movie "Another Cinderella Story," set to hit theaters on Sept. 16th.

Despite the lovely Mexicana sharing besitos with on-screen novio Drew Seeley, the actress reveals that it took ten takes to get the make-out scene just right.

Selena may have been keeping it professional, but la chica was also checking out her co-star:

You know, for me, it was a job, and for him as well, too. But I'm not complaining. He's not bad to look at.

While the star was busy kissing and telling at the red carpet premiere of her latest flick, she also made time to talk about her reaction to Russell Brand's comment about the Jonas Brothers during the VMAs:

I'm glad they realized that they're gentleman because its completely true.

The PSA advertisement shows la chicana sharing besitos for an environmental cause funded by several organizations including Conservation International and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Before lip lockin' the Disney star states:

Unless we protect the environment, half the world’s amphibians will become extinct. What happens to frogs today, can affect people in the future.

We know Selena supports kissing for a noble cause, but we wonder what she thinks about her novio Nick Jonas' wax figure getting so much love at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Washington, D.C.!
