Yes, we love Naya Rivera, but if you ask us, Glee still deserves to have much more of a Latino presence. And that's exactly what they got last night, with a singing and dancing Spanish teacher played by Ricky Martin!

Martin's role as Mr. Martinez definitely got things jumping, especially after his rousing rendition of "Sexy And I Know It." But more importantly, Glee gave Ricky the chance to flex his acting chops. Mr. Livin' La Vida Loca offered up a bit of comedy, some tender moments with Mr. Schu, and even an interesting backstory about his character's life in Ohio.

And don't just take our word for it. Several critics thought Martin knocked it out of the park too.

"As expected, Martin brought his charm, energy and swiveling hips to the proceedings," the Washington Post wrote.

Best of all, there's a very good chance that Mr. Martinez will return. Now hired as a full-time Spanish teacher at McKinley High, let's hope we can see him in a lot more dance numbers to come!

Sexy Latin crooner Ricky Martin has confirmed that he will join the cast of Glee as a Spanish teacher during next Tuesday's episode. The Puerto Rican singer described on Twitter how making the episode was one of his favorite moments of his career.

Ricky will play a Spanish teacher, David Martínez, on next week's Glee episode, airing February 7th on Fox. He will deliver the sassy line,

"Mucho gusto conocerlos. Soy sexy y lo sé. Vamos a bailar."

Martin joins the award-winning show for an episode which highlights some of the show's Hispanic influences, titled "The Spanish Teacher." His performance will also include lines spoken in both English and Spanish, as well as musical lyrics sang in both languages.

Chris Colfer, the actor who plays Kurt on the show, confesses how he has never seen such a frenzy over any other guest star on the show.

"In my three years on Glee, I have never seen anyone who has arrived on the set and has made every single person melt."

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue and queen of pop Madonna will sing together for the first time to mark Kylie's 25th anniversary in music! British TV station ITV is in the works for a star-studded special to commemorate the Kylie's career, with a spectacular finale bringing together the two divas of pop.

Many of us have only been dreaming for the moment when these two Music Powerhouses would join forces and WOW us like never before. Well the time has finally come to make this dream come true!

According to the Mirror's Dean Pipier, Kylie Minogue has huge plans for 2012 to celebrate her 25 years in the music industry, including the dream duet with Madonna.

"PLEASE let this come true!" writes Pipier. His source told him: "There will be lots of duets. The plan so far is for a duet with her sister Dannii, Jason Donovan and a finale featuring a duet with MADONNA."

Madge has done duets with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake and Ricky Martin, while Kylie has collaborated with Robbie Williams, Nick Cave and former Neighbours beau Jason Donovan.

Madonna and Kylie are both fans of each other's work. Kylie has mentioned that Madonna has been an influence on her music, and both have been seen wearing T-shirts featuring the other's name.

Judging from the Twitpic he recently posted, Robbi “Draco” Rosa is having a tough time with his cancer treatment. But, according to new reports, he's still anxious to record new music and has a ton of famous friends who are eager to help him out.

Alejandro Sanz shared some interesting news on his Twitter account this month, leading many to believe that Draco may have some recording plans in the future.

"Os dejo, voy a comer para luego grabar con Tommy Torres un tema para el disco de Draco Rosa. Un grande. Abrazos a tod@s. Se os quiere malamente," he wrote.

Rumors are also circulating that Juan Luis Guerra, Enrique Bunbury, and Ricky Martin may be joining Rosa for some duets. People en Español claims that we may even hear some new Draco sounds by as early as next May.

They say that music is therapy for the soul. So perhaps getting behind the mic may be just the type of inspiration Rosa needs to overcome his cancer diagnosis. And judging by the massive outpouring of support he already has, we’re certain it would be a bona fide smash.

These days it seems like Glee has become a showcase for Latino talent. Not only have they locked in stars like Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin for singing guest roles, they may now be after Pitbull!

According to the latest rumors, Mr. 305 is currently being courted to play the brother of Naya Rivera's Santana character. It definitely seems like a strange fit, but it wouldn't be the first time Pit’s made an appearance on prime time TV.

The goal would be to have Pitbull, Estefan, and Rivera unite for a massive musical number. Gloria is already set to play Naya's mom, so we imagine it would be a family-related piece at the very least.

The only bummer is that Ricky (who's been tapped to play a Glee Spanish teacher) wouldn't be featured in the same episode. Regardless, it's still a great opportunity to show off stars from the Latin music world. Perhaps down the line, they can throw in Calle 13 as Santana's crazy cousins.

My favorite category in the Latin Grammys is usually best video, where you can truly see your favorite artist's vision of their work in action. Every year we are blown away by some particularly wonderful videos, whatever your criteria may be. Here's my pick for this year.

Shakira's 'Loca' makes me want to just get up and dance. It also makes me want to go to the beach. It's an upbeat, sexy video that is fun to watch and listen to. I like videos that do that: make you want to just go out and do some random thing. Also, seeing Shakira shake it like a Polaroid picture makes me want to go hit the gym.

One of my favorite videos this year would have to be 'Calma Pueblo,' by Calle 13. It's bizarre visuals, like, for starters, nuns playing guitar and a naked person mosh pit, are definitely something that will make you say, "What?" It also has a nice message of unity. Just don't get distracted by the naked guy playing guitar on the roof.

I feel I should give an honorable mention to Ricky Martin's 'Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú.' This effervescent and care-free video makes your worries melt away just watching it. The bright vivid scenes paired with Ricky's melodious voice are harmony to my ears and eyes. I also feel it has a bit of a retro feel, taking me back to the 1990's. I dig it.

Every year people tune into the Latin Grammys to scope out how their latest favorite music video did, or to see which songs made it to the top of their class. With all this hot talent in the room, some viewers are surely wondering which artists will get all the attention this year.

I'm willing to bet the sexiness of Mana's 'Lluvia Al Corazon' video was a big factor in getting them the nomination for Mejor Video Musical. Mana has also been given kudos for their album Drama Y Luz. We know you'll be looking your best when you walk across that stage

When people think "sexy," most usually think Ricky Martin. This year he is nominated for his video 'Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú.' With an upbeat and happy video, combined with his cuteness and voice, Ricky is sure to do well in the sex appeal department.

Calle 13 has been getting lots of attention lately as well. The sexy stepbrothers are sure to bring the sexy to one of Latin music's hottest events. Why shouldn't they be proud? After scoring 10 Latin Grammy nominations, this duo will be sizzling. Caliente!

Shakira always inspires a sexy vibe. Her video Loca features her, in all her hotness, shimmying around the beach and rollerblading through the city streets. The sexy songstress can always bring the beats and the hot dance moves. Her latest album Sale El Sol is full of Latin beats. Shakira never disappoints.

A Ricky Martin spokesman denied on Monday that the Puerto Rican star will marry Carlos Gonzalez, his longtime partner, in Spain.

"Having frequently advocated for the right of marriage equality, Ricky himself would have no qualms about sharing any decision to get married, but at this time, any reports of Ricky Martin planning to be married in Spain are unequivocally false!" said the spokesperson.

On Saturday, Spanish daily El Pais said that Ricky wanted to marry in Spain to recognize Prime Minister Zapatero's achievements in that country when he legalized gay marriage in 2005.

Although Ricky is Puerto Rican and lives in Miami, he requested Spanish citizenship in March.

His spokesperson admitted that he did become a Spanish citizen:

"Last week, the government of Spain granted a long-pending request of citizenship to Ricky Martin. In thanking the Spanish government, Martin detailed that while he remains an ardently proud citizen of Puerto Rico/The United States, he had requested the dual citizenship to be part of a growing global community and celebrate his strong ties of heritage and artistry with Spain."

Could Zacharay Quinto be a follower of Ricky Martin's tweets? After reading his latest blog post, it's very much possible. The Star Trek star came out as a gay man over the weekend and explained that the suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer was his inspiration. Ricky recently made Jamey his Twitter profile pic to honor the gay teen's memory.

In case you weren't aware, Rodemeyer took his own life back in September after incessant taunts from bullies. Martin and a host of other GLAAD-oriented celebrities made sure the story received mainstream attention.

And apparently it caught the eye of Quinto, who went on to write,

"In light of jamey's death – it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it – is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality. I believe in the power of intention to change the landscape of our society – and it is my intention to live an authentic life of compassion and integrity and action. jamey rodemeyer's life changed mine."

Since coming out, Zachary has gotten a ton of support from the Hollywood community. And though Jamey's family hasn't publicly commented yet, we’re sure they are very grateful for Quinto's kind words.

Ricky Martin isn't exactly a favorite pop star among church goers in Honduras. Religious leaders attempted to get Ricky's upcoming concert on October 16th canceled due to its "erotic content," but the performance at the Choci Sosa stadium in Tegucigalpa will proceed as scheduled.

The group also tried to get Ricky's visa into the country denied due to his creative content and sexual orientation. Honduras is just one of his many stops during his "MAS: Música + Alma + Sexo" tour in Latin America. The Puerto Rican singer is currently in Costa Rica preparing to perform for thousands of fans in the Estadio Ricardo Saprissa tomorrow.

Although the concert in Honduras was allowed to continue, it turns out that kids under 15 will not be allowed to attend the show. According to the Minister of the Interior, Ricky's show:

"Is not the type of family that the laws of Honduras and the Honduran society wants to build and encourage to young people and the rest of the population."

The last time we checked, Ricky Martin's performances never suffered any wardrobe malfunctions. His performances are as racy as the next pop star.
