She can act, sing and write. Dulce María es una talentosa estrella isn’t she? This chica is moving on to bigger things, namely el cine. She just signed on to make her big screen debut in the movie Una Vez Más and will play an impulsive and unpredictable joven who falls for an older married man with a child. Scandalous! RBD is also set to appear on the soundtrack too. Hmm, sounds fishy…we hope the producers aren’t trying to make a quick buck by having RBD’s name stamped all over this project because it doesn’t work. Britney and Madonna are huge estrellas but they still made crappy movies! [Esmas]

Anorexia is a serious issue and RBD's Anahí knows a thing or two about the disease since she suffered from it years ago. So when strong rumors suggested that Gaby from La Nueva Banda Timbiriche is suffering from anorexia too Anahí had nothing but support for her pal and fellow cantante. We hope Gaby heard Anahí’s sweet palabras calling her “super linda” and saying she has the “face of an angel.” If the rumors are true we wish Gaby all the best in recovering and that she stays strong!

Last weekend, RBD’s sexy rubia chica, Anahí, had to cut her tour short in Chile due to a severe illness. While the rest of the gang at RBD stayed behind to go on with the show for their Chilean fans, Anahí flew back home to Mexico to cure her throat infection. Today we’re hearing that Anahí is all well and ready to join her band mates back on tour when the group hits Brazil and Spain next!

Maite Perroni is heating up the small screen once again with Cuban hottie William Levy for her new telenovela Cuidado con el ángel and we got the test shots to prove it! This is probably why Maite was M.I.A. during the Latin Billboards the other week. In this hilarious bochinche reenactment Christopher y Alfonso (aka Poncho) from RBD pretend to be an angry -- and might we add -- funny looking couple. When Poncho comes home super pedo and falls to the floor Christopher starts freaking out about who he was with. La gente estaba curiosa about Maite Perroni's whereabouts during Los Premios Billboards yesterday but we already knew what she was busy doing. Maite recently snagged a role in the new telenovela drama Cuidado con el ángel and was back in Mexico doing some test shots for the show. Meanwhile, RBD looked like they had a blast at the awards despite losing out on Best Pop Album of the Year but looking at Dulce María's wacky face you would never guess they were upset at all!

RBD is the “it” pop group to crossover from Mexico since the release of their album Celestial but will another group take their spot? La Nueva Banda, the new pop group hecho en Mexico by Televisa (the same company that made RBD), are growing their fan base and gaining quite a few loyal ones in their native country. Following their career path, it slowly looks like this pop group will be following in the footsteps of RBD. Check it out. The group goes by LNB, will have a telenovela about themselves in the future, and have already dipped their toes in the U.S. last year opening up for RBD. Both groups are really chill with each other now but if LNB rises to the top will we see a battle of the bands in the future? [Univision]

Aww, what a cute video! RBD is super busy on their American tour but that’s not stopping them from celebrating Maite’s cumpleaños! Finally, this chica is getting some solo spotlight for a change. We are so pro-Maite! Not that we don’t love the rest of RBD too. Tee-hee! Maite’s bandmates sang her the traditional Mexican B-Day song, Las Mañanitas, which is usually sung before cutting the torta but it’s understandable that there was no cake cutting involved here since the gang was in a middle of a show.
