Get ready for some bad behavior, as we bring you Belinda’s new music video “Lolita,” which premiered exclusively on Tr3s and MTVLA on August 23! This upbeat pop-rock track will be the theme song for MTV Latin America’s new soap "Niñas Mal," debuting in September, and coming to Tr3s in 2011.
We’ve already given you a sneak peek, pero ya llegó el vidéo completo! Watch now as Belinda and the actresses from the new telenovela wreak havoc in “Lolita.”
Mexican actresses Isabel Burr and Carmen Aub, y la actriz colombiana Jéssica San Juan, join Belinda for what looks like the very fun-filled taping of this video. The girls get to ride motorcycles, toss up a convenience store, and push a cute nerdy boy around. Al pobre chico lo maltratan bastante, throwing drinks and spilling candy all over him on the floor. Que abuso!
Hasta Belinda gets in on the travesuras, swinging her mic at the speakers around her and setting off sparks. She sings, “soy tu perdición, te rompo el corazón, la la la Lolita,” and if that’s any indication of what’ll be going down in "Niñas Mal," we must be in for some juicy storylines!
La telenovela se trata de un grupo de chicas attending a wealthy private school and, as the name suggests, behaving quite badly. As a popular term for young girls who do things they shouldn’t, “Lolita” resulta el tema perfecto para "Niñas Mal."
Belinda’s had her share of the bad girl streak lately, also guest starring opposite William Levy para la más reciente temporada de Mujeres Asesinas. We definitely like this rebellious, grown-up Belinda!

For anyone doubting the power of a 3D dance flick, bow down! The release of "Step Up 3D" went way beyond expectations, passing the $30 million mark since opening day (August 6). As dance fans, we've been tagging along for all the parties and red carpet events.
Check out some of the exclusive footage Tr3s got from the “Step Up 3D” premiere at L.A.’s El Capitan theatre. The Argentinian Lombard twins (who were absolute scene stealers) gave us some bilingual insight into their memorable onscreen moments. “We improvised most of our scenes and that was amazing,” they revealed.
Leading man Rick Malambri also stopped by to chat about how grueling the dance process really was. He told us, “We went through a month and a half of six days a week, 10 hours a day. Full on choreography…personal training, weight training, you name it! It was intense.”

De la creatividad del escritor, productor, y actor Manny Perez comes an action packed story of vengeance, love, and redemption. Set in the Dominican Republic, "La Soga" is the story of a young boy named Luisito who sees his father, the town butcher, being killed by a deported drug-dealer thug. El ver este asesinato impacts the boy so that he grows up thirsting for revenge.
Denise Quiñones plays the role of Jenny, his childhood sweetheart, who’s come back to reignite the compassionate person he once was. "La Soga" opens today (August 13).
We attended Wednesday's (August 11) NYC premiere de esta película and witnessed first-hand just how proud Manny is of not only the film, but of his cast.

Earning its place as Official Selection of the LA Latino International Film Festival, and hailed by Pulitzer Prize winning author Junot Diaz as “flat-out brilliant,” “La Soga” has turned out to be Manny Perez’s most inspired project to date.

Manny says that “La Soga” reflects a daily reality for D.R. that often goes untold or gets ignored, and he believes that’s why it moved audiences and critics within the country. El espera que sea bien recibida in the States as well.
Here’s what Manny had to say about taking on the challenge of being writer/producer and starring in a lead role:
“The biggest challenge was to keep it all together. I have all these hats, so I just tried to focus on one at a time, and be true to those moments. I had a moment when my character has a breakdown, and that was hard to do because I was producing as I was acting. It made it hard to focus at first, but then the emotion came out organically and it turned out great.”
Tenemos que contarles that most of Manny’s time on the red carpet was spent gushing about working with Denise. Not only did he say she was his favorite actress, but when pushed to choose his favorite kisser of all his female co-stars, he blushed and grudgingly admitted that it was Miss Universo 2001.

Y que piensa ella? Well, Denise is just as enthusiastic about their on-screen chemistry.

We showed off behind-the-scenes photos and even gave you that teaser clip, but none of that compares to the final product. Yes, Alex, Jorge y Lena fans, the “Estoy Contigo” video has arrived and it DEFINITELY lives up to the hype!

The video (directed by music vet Pablo Croce) had its world premiere yesterday (August 9) on Tr3s and now you can watch it as many times as you want, right below! Be sure to "pause" for all those sexy Lena shots!
We recommend experiencing it in two different ways. First, of course, watch the video and see the fun interactions and genuine good times that each member is having. As you can see, they all have their musical strengths; Alex strumming on acoustic, Jorge taking electric leads, and Lena adding delicate flourishes on the piano.
The second way to experience it is to literally close your eyes and listen to the song in its entirety. “Estoy Contigo” is truly a soaring ballad, complete with violins, thundering drums, and the seamless harmonies of AJL. Wow! We can’t wait until September 21 when the full album drops, and hopefully we’ll get another video before then too.

It may only be two days away, but Monday seems like an eternity for us hardcore
AJL fans. As we mentioned previously, August 9th is when musical trio Alex Jorge y Lena debut their first official single on Tr3s, but we just couldn't resist dropping this teaser.
So here it is: 15 glorious seconds of the soaring power balled "Estar Contigo"! You could probably tell from the pic we posted before that this video would have a leafy fall theme (which works well, considering the album arrives in September).
For anyone curious, Alex Ubago, who had his own hot solo career before the group, is in the blue shirt singing on the right. Jorge Villamizar (formerly of the band "Bacilos") is in the scarf, and the gorgeous lady in the center is Lena.
All three cowrote "Estar Contigo" and you can tell they've poured their hearts and souls into this song. As Jorge put it, "I love the idea of doing collaborations. It's an artistic challenge where you trust the others' talent and they trust yours."
This talented combo seems to have worked perfectly. We can't wait to enjoy the full "Estar Contigo" video experience (and the full Lena experience) August 9th, exclusively on Tr3s!

Sometimes creating an awesome musical project is like a jigsaw puzzle. It doesn’t quite work until all of the pieces fit together perfectly. Talented artists can go through dozens of bands before they hit that perfect combination of harmony, instrumentation, and songwriting prowess.
Well we can thank the rock gods above, because whatever forces brought Alex Ubago, Jorge Villamizar, and Lena together have given the world a delicious slice of new ear candy. Case in point, “Estar Contigo,” the first single off of their brilliant debut album.

From the start, these three have been attracting major love within the industry. Signed to Warner Music Latina, they had their pick of the litter when it came to top notch record producers. Mexican maestro Aureo Baqueiro (who’s worked with Paulina Rubio, Thalia, and more) was given the shot and helped build tracks that reflect the individual styles of each member.
One love song that caught the attention of almost everybody was “Estar Contigo,” partially because of the broad appeal of its lyrics. As Alex puts it, “[It’s] a love song that I like because you can interpret in many ways. You can listen to it thinking of any person you like, your partner, your children or your best friend.”
And it makes for one helluva video! Capitalizing on the harmonies and visual appeal of the members (how could you not fall in love with Lena instantly?!), they hired director Pablo Croce to helm it (he’d previously cranked out awesome song clips for groups like Aventura and Mana).

So of course the big question is…How much longer do we have to wait for it?! Not long at all.
Tr3S is kicking off the exclusive premiere this coming Monday (August 9)! And just to whet your appetites even more, we’ll have some suprises for you right here on Blogamole. Stay tuned...

"Step Up 3D" is more than a movie, it’s an experience! Imagine perfectly aligned dancers doing kicks, twirls, and tumbles through the screen and right in your face! This week, Blogamole was lucky enough to tag along with a few of the actors, choreographers, and creative masterminds behind this extremely ambitious project.

First up, the glorious pre-release bash (August 1) at the Skybar on the Sunset Strip. Now we know why big studios like to release their movies in the summertime…it's definitely the best season for a premiere party!

A gorgeous twilight, a "Dance Dance Revolution" machine, and when you’ve got "So You Think You Can Dance"'s tWitch in the house, you know some battles are bound to break out! Case in point, this wild showdown right in front of the bar!

Then there was the actual premiere: Set at Hollywood’s historic El Capitan Theatre, the Monday event (August 2) brought out the big gun floor stompers.

Legacy from the B-Boys, star Alyson Stoner from the original “Step Up”, and Argentinian wonder twins, Martin and Facundo Lombard!

Cuando Jessy Terrero dirigió el vidéo para la canción “Candy Shop” con 50 Cent, the set was overflowing with sexy women. The New York International Latino Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of their movie "Gun" was pretty much along the same lines: eye candy por todos lados!

Julissa Bermudez and Adrienne Bailón looked bellas como siempre in their sexy short dresses.

"America’s Next Top Model" winner Jaslene Gonzalez was graceful in a long, completely see-through purple dress over a white one piece bathing suit.

Actress Emily Meade también estuvo ahí apoyando a 50 Cent, whom she co-starred with in the movie "Twelve."

Christina Aguilera premiered her latest single "You Lost Me" today (July 22) to glowing reviews. This emotionally powerful ballad the second single off her Bionic LP shows the return of the diva to her "Beautiful" days.
Dressed casually in black with painted red lips and new strawberry-blonde hair, the song opens with:
"I am done/ Smoking gun/ We've lost it all/ The love is gone/ She has won/ Now its no fun/ We've lost it all/ The love is gone."
The break-up ballad continues with black mascara streaming down Xtina's face as she cries in the desert. The video closes with the singer finding the "light," clad in white, seemingly past her misery:
"Now I know you're sorry/ And we were sweet/ Oh, but you chose lust when you deceived me/ And you'll regret it, but it's too late/ How can I ever trust you again?
I feel like our world's been infected/ And somehow you left me neglected/ We've found our lives been changed/ Oh babe, you lost me."
Christina shared these details with Entertainment Tonight on the set of her video:
“What I wanted was a very raw and real feeling. Your relationship with this person is sort of being destroyed right before your eyes.. This video will take you from a very dark place ... [but] pretty soon you'll see me build my strength."
Well, she certainly achieved that raw feeling. Hopefully this strong ballad and stellar video will help Aguilera's Bionic album pick up in sales.
The LP came in 3rd on the Billboard 200 when it debuted in June and sold a disappointing 111,000 in its first week out, her lowest selling album. Her summer tour has also been canceled due to poor album sales, though inadequate rehearsal time between the album's release and tour dates is the "official" reason.
Either way, we love this new/old Christina!
