Since his birth last January, it's been very tough to get updates about little Leo Bardem. Unlike other celebs, his famous padres have been fiercely private about his day-to-day life. But mama Penelope Cruz did open up a little bit in a recent interview for Bazaar magazine.

"I talk about him all day long, even to strangers in the street," Cruz said when asked about her son. "He is my favorite subject! But, you know; this is my job."

Pe went on to say how she's decided to slow down her movie career to spend more time at home. This year she'll be seen in just two films (far less than in her average output), which means fewer red carpet appearances.

Cruz explained how she and hubby Javier Bardem recently sold their Hollywood home to take up residence in Spain. According to Penelope, her home turf makes her feel a lot more grounded, though there are moments when she misses L.A.

"When I come to L.A. now, I have so many memories," she added. "Some of them good, some of them not so good. I have lived beautiful moments here, but I don't want to live here. It is not the place where I want to raise my kids."

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the interview was her use of the word "kids." Could that mean that another baby Bardem could be on the way? It certainly sounds like a strong possibility to us.

It looks like it's splitsville for Eva Longoria and Spanish boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, Us Weekly exclusively reports.

The couple, who had been together for a little more than a year, have decided to put an end to their relationship in a "mutual decision," according to a close source. "They are staying friends."

In order to keep her distracted, "she's focusing on work and the end of Desperate Housewives" added the source. Still, it appears she will be spending her 37th birthday, this March 15, single.

In the past days, we had seen Longoria and Cruz apart: she tweeted pictures of her and her family in Disneyland, while Eduardo had gone back to Spain. This may have started the rumor of their breakup.

Longoria and Cruz were introduced at a party by his famous sister, Penélope, and started dating back in March of last year, after her painful 2010 divorce from Tony Parker.

Ever since, she seemed reluctant to talk openly about her love life.

"The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu," she told Spanish Vanity Fair in November 2011.

The Red Carpet at the Oscars is a great time to ooh and ahh at all the magnificent gowns and outfits that adorn the stars. It is also a great time to poke fun at the tackiness and gaudiness of those who overdo it.

Here, I bring you the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Academy Awards Red Carpet.

Angelina Jolie's strapless Versace gown of black velvet, slit to show off her leg, was the talk of Tinseltown. She stroke a pose and showed her right leg not once, but several times, inspiring a Twitter account: @angiesrightleg, which already has more than 11,000 followers.

Jessica Chastain wore an exquisite long black gown with gold embroidery, designed by Alexander McQueen. The dress went beautifully with her long strawberry blonde hair.

Red-tressed Berenice Bejo wore a lacy minty white gown by Ellie Saab. She looked great but the pale dress washed her out a bit. I'm willing to bet she would have looked a lot more stunning had she wore a jewel toned dress, perhaps an emerald green or a sapphire blue.

Busy Phillips looked gorgeous in her grey Dolce & Gabbana dress. She accented it beautifully with hot fuchsia peep-toe shoes and some dangling blue stones for earrings.

Rooney Mara also invoked that classic Hollywood style with a classic white gown, complete with plunging neckline and dragging tail. Her makeup was simple, with a bright red lip.

While Anna Faris looked elegant at first glance in her black sequined outfit by Diane von Furstenberg, I thought it looked kind of sloppy and overwhelming. The bottom could have been shorter and more structured. She looked like she was getting lost in it. Too much outfit for such a petite gal.

Missi Pyle is a cute girl, but that powder blue dress makes her look like she was going to prom. It might have been a Valentino, but the cut just looks to grandma-ish on her. I would have gone for a more youthful and fun dress.

Milla Jovovich, looking stunning as always, also wore Ellie Saab. Milla sported an off-the-shoulder dress with delicate white embroidery that hung all the way to the ground. She looked very classy and Old Hollywood chic with her side swept bob and daring red lipstick.

Emma Stone is a gorgeous girl. She can pull off just about any look. I'm just not sure about this bright pink dress with a bow wrapped around her neck. This would be great on one of the Golden Girls, but I think this is a bit old for Emma.

Glen Close is a stunning woman. The dress she wore, by Zac Posen, however, was not so stunning. It looked too harsh on her. Even the color, while it would have complement her skin beautifully as any other outfit, was a bit too drab for the Oscars. Maybe if the lost the jacket, the dress would have looked a lot better on its own.

What can I say about Michelle Williams? She is cute, and the peach dress she wore does complement her, but it also makes her look like a flapper. She should have gone for something more sophisticated and glamorous. I also can't get over her little pink clutch. It makes her look like she's playing dress-up.

Rose Byrne looked fabulous in her black sequined Vivienne Westwood gown. Vavavoom! She had the perfect hanging earrings and her hair was flawless.

Ellie Kemper was another cutie petutie that looked gorgeous and elegant in her sequined gold and copper Armani gown. What a far cry from what she wears on The Office!

Natalie Portman always looks elegant and chic, and last night was no exception. She wore a vintage strapless Christian Dior dress. Long and red with tiny black polka dots.

Judy Greer looked like she was going to join the cast of Star Trek with the dress she picked. It was long and black, but had two silver stripes running vertically on either side. Not the most flattering choice for the Oscars.

Penelope Cruz always looks stunning,and last night she looked like a Disney princess. Her powder blue dress was long and flowing, and off-the-shoulder. Give her a tiara and he could be Cinderella.

Now, Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to daring cuts and plunging necklines, but there was a lot of controversy over whether she had a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet. When she leaned over to chat, spectators swore they saw a nip slip. Of course, tweets spread like wildfire.

"Did we all see what we thought we saw?"

"I'm worried about a gust of wind hitting the top part of JLo's dress causing a wardrobe malfunction."

JLo's stylist, Mariel Haenn, responded to the allegations of an ill-fitting dress.

"The dress fit perfectly to every inch. While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something!"

So there you have it, peepers. Haenn insists the dress included built-in cups to specifically prevent any slips. Better luck next time!

Despite some tough economic times, Hollywood's biggest Hispanic celebs are still hoping to cash in…at least in the real estate world. Several A-list stars have been putting the "For Sale" sign up in recent months, giving fans the opportunity to take a virtual peek inside their lavish homes.

One of the newest celebs to throw their home on the market is Christina Aguilera. The famous Beverly Hills mansion that once housed her, her boyfriend, and her ex-husband (all at the same time!) is now on sale for a whopping $13.5 million. But when you calculate its size and location, that may be a fair price.

Xtina's home includes 6 bedrooms and 9 baths. And judging by the pix that TooFab.com has posted, it's got plenty of Aguilera flair as well. One of the guest rooms includes lavender wallpaper, vast oil paintings, and a Guns N'Roses pinball machine! There are also bright pink makeup rooms, chandeliers over bathtubs, and a giant movie theater screening room.

Another music artist's mansion just hit market too, albeit under much more tragic circumstances. Less than a week after her untimely death, Whitney Houston's estate has put her New Jersey home up for sale. Listed at $1.75 million, it measures 12,600 square feet and is clearly priced to go.

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez also appears to be on the move. He's selling his massive Manhattan condo for a cool $8 millions. Featuring epic views of the New York City skyline, it's got five bedrooms and runs 3,500 square feet. Interestingly, A-Rod is hoping to make a nice profit off the sale. He bought it last year for $3 million, less than the asking price.

One Tr3s fave who recently cashed out in Hollywood is Penelope Cruz. Her home in the hills (which she shared with hubby Javier Bardem) just sold for $2.8 million.

Though the final price was below what she was asking (it originally listed at $3.6 mil), Pe didn't seem to mind. According to Radar, she was growing tired of life in L.A. and wants to move baby Leo back to Spain.

And for all of you looking to rent, there's one very famous residence that currently available for lease. Oh yes, the season one Jersey Shore house is now looking for occupiers. Just imagine sleeping in the same room where Snooki's "pickle incident" happened or using "The Situation's" vanity mirror. It can all be yours for the hefty price tag of $2,500 per night!

Ok, before you get too excited about this story let us preface it with one thing; Penelope Cruz will NOT be getting naked for PETA. But, she will be headlining a campaign that speaks out against wearing fur.

As we all know, PETA has become famous for getting stars to bare all for its animal rights campaigns. And while Penelope will be showing a little bit of skin for her ad, it will only be shot from the neck up.

Cruz' poster will feature the headline "Give Fur The Cold Shoulder," with an image of (you guessed it) the back of her shoulder. But it's an important message nonetheless and it’s about to get plastered all over New York City's Penn Station.

PETA's Senior Vice President Lisa Lang summed up the concept in a recent statement to Us Weekly,

"Penelope has appeared on every 'best-dressed' list in the world, and the one thing you'll never see her wearing is fur. PETA couldn't ask for a more fitting emblem of the modern, glamorous woman who knows that there's nothing more beautiful than a woman who has a look that kills without anyone having to die for it."

What a wild year it's been in the chisme world. There were enough baby bumps, nasty divorces, and estrella scandals to fill five seasons of Popland! And before that ball drops on 2011, we thought it would be fun to look back on some of our favorite Blogamole stories throughout the past 12 months.

2011 certainly kicked off with its share of chisme. There was that January announcement about Shakira splitting up with her longtime boyfriend Antonio de la Rua. Now we all know that she was spotted with her current flame, Gerard Piqué, just a short time later. Could there have been an overlapping relationship? We'll probably never know for sure, but thankfully Antonio has landed on his feet in the love department.

And speaking of love, quite a few new celebrity couples emerged in the past year. Perhaps the biggest of them all was Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. These two started getting spotted together in late 2010, but didn't announce their official "relationship" until the Oscars after-party in March.

Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez made surprising couple news when they became an item this past November. Of course, that attaches itself to a much bigger chisme story; the JLo/Marc Anthony divorce! Nobody in the media saw that breakup coming and, from what we've heard so far, the split was not acrimonious.

Several other famous faces parted ways with their steadies this year. Zoe Saldana, who had been with her boyfriend for 11 years, broke off her engagement in November. And Ana de la Reguera endured a pretty public split too. Her man, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, publicly cheated back in January.

But the year wasn’t just filled with scandals. Plenty of happy new arrivals kept gossip blogs buzzing too. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem welcomed their first child in January, Jessica Alba gave Honor Marie a younger sister back in August, and Benicio del Toro became a first-time daddy after a tryst with Kimberly Stewart.

2011 also proved to be stellar year for some Latino up-and-comers. Romeo Santos proved he could handle solo stardom just fine after the release of his album, Formula Vol. 1. Victoria Justice also created quite a bit of buzz this year, and not just for her singing abilities. She was able to hold down a hit TV show, movie roles, and major merchandising deals! One of our personal faves, Sie7e, made a big mark too, winning Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys.

But if we had to award one Chisme King of the Year, it would have to be Charlie Sheen. The self-described "Warlock" made more Blogamole headlines than just about any other star. Whether it was his "Tiger's Blood" rants, his Two and a Half Men drama, or his wacky intern program, Mr. Sheen definitely made for an eventful 2011.

That being said, there are still a few more days until the December 31st clock strikes midnight, so you never know who else may make the annual chisme list!

We know, a list calling itself "The Hottest Women Of All Time" is definitely considered subjective. But Men’s Health magazine seemed to be on the right track with their new highly-touted countdown. 100 ladies were featured in their "Hottest" breakdown, including quite a few sexy Latinas.

The first Tr3s fave to appear on the list comes in at #60. A Puerto Rican beauty who's just as famous for her behind as she is for her face, do you have any guesses as to who this might be? Yup, JLo made the cut and was particularly praised for her sexy looking outfits in the film, Out of Sight.

Closely following Jenny From the Block is the always lovely Jessica Alba. She ranked 54th, which seems like an injustice to us. With her flawless skin and firm body, Alba definitely deserves to be in the Top 10. We demand a recount!

Penelope Cruz also got some Men’s Health love, ranking #32 on the list. And just to further prove her "Hotness," the magazine posted an extra sexy pic of her for their online gallery. Following Pe came two blonde-haired Latinas, namely Gisele Bunchen (at #25) and Cameron Diaz (at #24).

Salma Hayek clearly wowed the Men’s readers, as she was ranked higher than both Kim Kardashian and Beyonce! Coming in at #22, she's the top mexicana on the list. And their editors made a very good point about Salma, emphasizing that she still looked "Hot" even in her frumpy Frida makeup.

Shakira comes up next at #18, proving that Gerard Piqué is a very lucky man. But the highest ranking Latina of them all? That would the #2 woman on the entire list. A bombshell from the swinging 60’s era, Men’s Health chose Raquel Welch as their ultimate Hispanic goddess. Not a bad call if you ask us. This half Bolivian beauty is still stunning at the ripe old age of 71!

And, for the record, Men’s Health’s "Hottest Woman of All Time" is…(drum roll please) Jennifer Aniston.

What makes a good mom? The way you cuddle your baby? The way you read to it every night? Or perhaps the way you give it milk from your breasts?! If you were to ask Javier Bardem's mom Pilar, the latter is by far the most important.

Mama Bardem gave the Spanish press a very funny quote last week when asked about her famous daughter-in-law. Talking about Penelope Cruz' mothering skills, Pilar was very complementary (especially in the breastfeeding department).

"Penelope is the most marvelous woman in the world," she said. "And the most marvelous woman in the world that keeps breastfeeding her child."

Well, truth be told, she may have a point. The latest pictures of Javier and Penelope's 10-month-old son Leo show him to be a large and healthy baby. So there's no doubt that he's getting plenty of nourishment from beneath mama's bra line.

It's clear that Penelope Cruz has a very strong maternal instinct. Ever since the birth of her son Leo, the Spanish actress has worked diligently to shield him from the media. But one photographer got a clean shot of the nine-month-old this past week, sending Mama Cruz into a tailspin!

"I know you. You published photos of me with my boy!" 'Pe' reportedly shouted at the paparazzo. "The agreement was you wouldn't do that. You should be ashamed of yourself!"

The incident happened in Bosnia, where Cruz has been filming the drama, Venuto al Mondo. Ironically, Pe plays a protective mom in the movie too, which is based on a family's pilgrimage to Sarajevo.

According to reports, Cruz has taken tons of precautions when traveling to war-torn region. She has constant bodyguards and the set is supposedly heavily guarded. But all of them seemed to underestimate the power of the paparazzi zoom lens!

Is Eva Longoria hearing wedding bells in her near future? Eva and her beau Eduardo Cruz recently enjoyed a romantic vacation in Madrid and have been spotted getting cozy at her restaurant Beso. After dealing with her shocking split from Tony Parker with strength and grace, Eva Longoria was popped the big question about whether she is ready to walk down the aisle with Penelope Cruz's little brother.

During an exclusive interview with Access Hollywood Live, Eva explained:

"I don't know, I don’t know. Only God knows that. I'm not opposed to it. I just don't really give it a lot of thought right now. Ask a woman after divorce if she's gonna get married, you won't get an honest answer."

Clever response! If Cruz just so happens to propose, Eva admits that she doesn't necessarily believe in long-term engagements:

"People think engagement is another step. It's not another step. You're single and then you're married. The engagement is the planning part. So, I always agree with short engagements. So many guys are getting engaged to buy time, 'Maybe this will buy me more time.' But if I'm the bride I'm like, 'Oh no, alright let's get going.'"

She sounds like a hopeless hopeful romantic. We think this chica is enjoying the single life, but.. do you think her novio will put a ring on it anytime soon?
