A utopian society at arms reach?

That's exactly what Paulina Rubio had in mind when she came up with the concept for her upcoming album, "Gran City Pop." La Chica Dorada's musical metropolis highlights a sense of freedom that replaces discrimation with respect and acceptance - especially when it comes to same sex marriage. The pop star, who was recently declared the Tourism Ambassador of Quintana Roo State in Mexico, explains that everyone should have the right to love without limitations.

MTV News recently caught up with La Mexicana to hear what she has to say about gay rights and more. Catch it and keep an eye out for her album, which drops on June 23rd. [MTV News]

Tourism in Mexico has definitely been hit hard since the swine epidemic took the streets...

Paulina Rubio and several estrellas are trying to remedy the type A flu situation by hosting a concert at the Malecón de Puerto Vallarta and the Plaza Minerva de Guadalajar in Mexico on June 20th. The performance is a separate venture from Pauli's worldwide tour and includes acts by David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, and much more. The spectacle is an attempt to get more patria fans back to spending billetes in the country.

We have to wait and see how popular the event will be, but La Chica Dorada spoke to us about her plans:

Tengo muchísimos planes. Empiezo mis conciertos en California en junio, voy a ir a México a lanzar el perfume y el disco. Todas mis canciones creo que son un hilo conductor del mensaje que siempre he llevado.

We get it. Swine flu or no swine flu, Paulina's album "Gran City Pop" is set to drop on June 23rd. [MTV TR3s Radio Noticias]

An everlasting pop career that has spanned more than twenty years...

Paulina Rubio always appears as flawlessly untouchable as a superhero diva out of the pages of your favorite comic book. She is charming, resilient, and cuter than the entire "High School Musical" class put together (including Zac Efron). We recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Paulina during her appearance at the English as a Second Language studios in New York City. She quickly corrected us whenever we switched back to English when speaking about her perfume "Oro" ('se dice sándalo no sandalwood!'), but her quick wit and contagious laughter made the entire meeting feel entre familia.

Read what she had to say about her new album "Gran City Pop" and her golden scent right below!

La Chica Dorada lit up the studio this week...

And brought back the golden years we thought were left behind! We must say Paulina Rubio delivered the sexiest female performance of the season on Entertainment As A Second Language. The Latin Grammy winner rocked the stage and performed two of her electrifying tracks, "Causa y Efecto" and "Ni Una Sola Palabra." The eye candy didn't end there. Things got interesting when Carlos tried to imitate Joaquin Cortes' flamenco dance moves. Speaking of moves, see how Carlos one-ups Souja Boy on the dance floor. Interesting to say the least!

Catch a sneak peek of Paulina's performance aquí:

Payback is a bitch...

Paulina Rubio may have a lioness stare across her flawless face, but the not-so-undercover-vixen is letting karma do all of the work in her upcoming track "Causa y Efecto" off of her new album "Gran City Pop." Directed by Rudi Dolezal, the ultra retro video perfectly mirrors the upbeat tempo with funky demonstrations of Pauli's obsessions for karaoke, rollerskating, and men. Of course, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. La Chica Dorada is abandoning the vengeful tactics and leaving it all up to cause and effect. We promise her strategy won't let you down...

Don't forget to check the television premiere tonight on Entertainment as a Second Language tonight at 9pm!

Paulina Rubio and Gloria Trevi have more in common than their love for rock.

Our Miami spies caught the chic pop roqueras chilling in style at the famous Fointanbleau Hotel in honor of the upcoming Latin Billboard Awards. The "Cinco Minutos" estrella looked classy in a black mini-dress and Prada shoes, while La Chica Dorada shined in an orange mini-dress and fresh bronze tan. Las chicas and guests, including Cristian Castro and Xtreme, were getting their (moderate) free drink on after rehearsals. Check the fresh fotos and let us know what you think they are chatting about...

Who said Madonna was the only pop star allowed to feel "Like A Virgin"?

Paulina Rubio set the record straight about her sexual experiences in a recent interview (who knew there was anything to strengthen!). La Chica Dorada confessed that she was very young when she lost her virginity...so joven that she wasn't even fully developed. The Mexicana who recently dropped her latest racy single, "Causa y Efecto," also mentioned that she remembers her noteworthy primera vez with mucho cariño.

She states:

Yo era muy chavita. No me crecían ni las bubis, tenía más cuerpo de niña que de mujer, pero fue con el chavo adecuado y lo disfruté muchísimo. Fue muy padre, muy especial.

Thanks Pauli. We feel a deeper and more intimate connection with you now. Maybe that was the inspiration for her old school track, "Sexual Lover." Well, we rather not think about her aventuras verdad?! [La Botana]

Not if her bank account can help it!

La Pauli was recently set to begin a long-awaited trail for allegedly physically attacking a photographer in a Miami airport back in 2006. Luckily, la Mexicana will not face jail time because her lawyers have settled outside of court. Although details of the case have remained under-wraps, some 'spies' claim that La Chica Dorada offered $15,000 to end the lawsuit initiated by the pap, Luz Amanda Orozco.

Who knows if she really attacked la mujer, but at least la rubia can admit to having fighting moves. Catch her video for, "Ni Una Sola Palabra" and watch her beat-up a gang of hombres like a true superhero! Do you think the singer has killer moves? [People en Español]
