Roll out the red carpet! It's that time of year again when the hottest latino celebs come out to play and celebrate the best in the music industry.

Last night Miami really turned up the heat and served up an awards show full of spectacular performances and unforgettable moments. The 2012 Latin Billboards on Telemundo, held at the Bank United Center at the University of Miami, kept all of its promises and delivered like no other. The biggest winners of the night were Don Omar and Prince Royce.

The show started off with a boom thanks to Mr. 305 himself! Pitbull blasted on stage and rapped his way through a medley of his well-known hits accompanied by enough pyrotechnics to supply a Disney fireworks show. The crowd really went wild when Sensato came on stage and performed his mega-hit Crazy People alongside Mr. Worldwide. Following this amazing performance, Pitbull went on to win Artista Masculino del Año- Canciones and was sure to represent for Miami Dade-County.

Billboards kept the party rolling with the Mexican DJ group 3Ball MTY, who literally lit the stage on fire! The DJ's had everyone on their feet dancing and dazzled when they mixed LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem complete with a glow in the dark dance crew.

One song that is sure to be on everyone's party list this summer is Paulina Rubio's newest hit, Boys Will Be Boys. La Chica Dorada proved to everyone that she is one hot mama and sang her latest hit from her much-anticipated English album.

This was also a big night for la música regional Mexicana. The Texas based band, Intocable, was honored with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award for their incredible musical career spanning more than 15 years. Performing their classic hits such as Contra Viento Y Marea it's easy to understand why Intocable is, as the band name says, untouchable.

La Señora Jenni Rivera pleased her female fans as usual and hit the stage where she belted out a mix of old songs with a new twist such as Isabel Pantoja's classic Asi Fue with a bachata beat. Other memorable performances were given by Larry Hernandez and Gerardo Ortiz, who won for Solista Regional Mexicano del Año.

Perhaps the biggest musical absence and emotionally charged moment of the night came courtesy of none other than the queen of Tejano music, Selena. Her brother, A.B. Quintanilla came to the awards show wearing a white jacket with a beautiful Selena design on the back and introduced the biggest tribute of the night.

The tribute brought Selena back to life with Samo from Camila giving a spectacular rendition of her classic hit Amor Prohibido. El Gallito Feliz, Christian Castro performed a mix of Selena's mega-hit Como La Flor accompanied by a group of Selena doubles wearing the famous purple jumpsuit that established the singer as a fashion icon.

¿Dónde estaban los boricuas?! Puerto Rico definitely had a big night at the Latin Billboard Awards and arguably some of the best performances of the night.

The king of salsa Marc Anthony won the coveted Hall of Fame Award, which was presented to him by Emilio Estefan and honored his extensive work in music, philanthropy and acting. The Puerto Rican powerhouse inspired everyone in the audience during his emotional acceptance speech saying,

"I began as a child with a dream in New York City. You only need a dream sometimes."

Then the most amazing collaboration happened as Olga Tañon walked on stage singing a dramatic version of Ahora Quién, followed by Gilberto Santa Rosa who sang yet another Marc Anthony classic. Marc himself jumped on stage and all three salsa legends sang Qué Precio Tiene El Cielo, needless to say the crowd was going wild.

Top honors of the night went to yet another Puerto Rican who pulled out all the stops and easily gave one of the best performances the night, of course no other than Don Omar. With 8 Billboard awards under his belt, Don Omar wowed fans as he sang Dutty Love with the lovely Natti Natasha. But it didn't stop there, out of nowhere Akon jumps on the other side of the stage and the duo begin performing a remix of Danza Kuduro. By the time he began singing Hasta Que Salga El Sol everyone was dancing.

Don Omar wasn't the only big winner, Prince Royce also won a record-breaking 8 Billboard Awards. Other big winners included Shakira and mexican rock group Maná, who gave a live performance all the way from L.A.!

The night ended with an epic first-time performance by Brazilian singer, Michel Telo who sang the oh-so popular song Ai Se Eu Te Pego. The singer had the Spanish-speaking audience screaming out the infectious Portuguese lyrics and magically transported everyone to Brazil.

All in all, the 2012 Latin Billboard Awards gave a show like no other. I can't wait for next year!

Paulina Rubio visited Univision InStudio to promote her latest work and answer questions from her fans.

Paulina dished on the most coveted question of all, explaining "su pasado, presente, y futuro." What a juicy little interview that must have been.

Paulina also performed seven songs on InStudio, four of which were previous hits: "Causa Y Efecto," "Ni Una Sola Palabra," Yo No Soy Esa Mujer," and "Ni Rosas Ni Juguetes." The singer also gave us a sneak peek at three songs from her new album, "Me Gustas Tanto," which will be her first single off the album, as well as "Sabes Que Te Amo" y "Volvamos A Empezar."

Check out the InStudio website to catch a glimpse of Paulina's online appearance.

Who wouldn't need a shoulder to cry on after a painful separation? And in the case of Paulina Rubio’s soon-to-be ex husband, that shoulder happens to belong to Julio Iglesias Jr.!

Nicolás "Colate" Vallejo-Nágera was spotted with Julio Jr. this past week. And interestingly enough, TV y Novelas claims that they were living it up for a "boys night out."

Already a successful PR mogul, Colate has crossed paths with the Iglesias family on more than one occasion. But it's interesting to see him buddy up with Julio Jr. Enrique's older bro is a fun-loving bachelor who's been known for his "party boy" ways (which could be just what Nicolas needs).

But how is it all sitting with Pau Pau? She's been keeping an extra low profile since the separation (other than a few tweets) and from what we've heard, the split was not amicable. That being said, we get the feeling Julio Jr. won't be dueting on any new Rubio songs.

It seems like you're never too old to take your thoughts to the Twitterverse. 64-year-old Susana Dosamantes sends regular updates to her social network and sparked up big news this week when she referenced Paulina Rubio's divorce.

For those of you unfamiliar, Susana is Pau Pau's madre and she's been a guiding force in her daughter's career. A popular novela actress herself, Dosamantes has tons of Twitter followers and we're sure they were intrigued by this latest post.

"Los Laberintos de la Mente de los Seres Humanos, los complejos afloran tarde o Temprano, y destruyen todo," she wrote. "Caras VEMOS corazones no sabemos.”

Many fans saw that as a jab to Nicolás "Colate" Vallejo-Nágera, Rubio's soon-to-be ex-husband. Colate went public about the split to Hola magazine, which were told did not sit well with Paulina's fam. Rubio's brother Enrique added a few cents of his own, Tweeting about Nicolas "selling out" to a trashy tabloid.

Let's hope things don't get too ugly, at least for the sake of Nicolás Jr.

Could Paulina Rubio have been taken by surprise after her husband Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera publicly announced their split? It's certainly possible, especially after reading her reaction to the news.

"La vida te da sorpresas, sorpresas te da la vida hay dios! :)" Pau Pau Tweeted earlier this week.

The fact that she kept using the word "sorpresa" has led many to wonder whether or not she saw this one coming. Earlier reports claim that Rubio was desperate to save her marriage, especially for the sake of her young son.

But including that smiley face may mean that she's not as saddened as you might expect. Perhaps when it comes time to promote her next single, Paulina will sit down for an interview and clear the whole thing up.

Rumors that Paulina Rubio and Colate are splitting up are finally confirmed. The couple is calling it quits after a five-year marriage.

Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera, otherwise known as Colate, admitted that his marriage to Paulina will come to an end. The couple has been living separate lives for a few months and there is no saving their marriage, despite their attempts.

Colate explained,

"It's been a few difficult months, probably the saddest in my life. I am convinced that for her it hasn't been easy either. Paulina is the love of my life. With her I have had the best that has ever happened to me, our son, and I have also lived the happiest of moments. I will always be grateful."

Qué lástima. At least it seems like it's an amicable breakup. There had been rumors in the past of their marriage being on the rocks, but Colate's comment seems to have definitely sealed the deal.

It's that time of the year again! The biggest names in music have all made their way south to Chile for the annual Festival Internacional de la Cancion de Viña del Mar.

The prestigious music festival is notorious among artists as being one of the hardest venues to perform in both because of the acoustics and the audience. In 2005 Paulina Rubio got booed off the stage because her performance was deemed to be of poor quality by the Chilean audience. Thankfully Argentinean superstar Diego Torres did not have that experience: in fact it was quite the opposite.

The singer kicked-off the music festival with an amazing performance that included a number of his past hits such as "Color Esperanza" and "Tratar De Estar Mejor". At the end of his set, which lasted for almost two hours, Torres received a standing ovation from the audience who also rewarded him with a gold and silver Premio Antorcha.

This marks the first time the artist performs at Viña del Mar since 1996 and he was noticeably excited telling the crowd,

"It is an honor to be at this festival, which has been with me at different stages in my career."

But the action didn't stop with Diego Torres, the festival had other big surprises in store for its audience. One of the most awaited performances of the night came courtesy of El Sol himself, Luis Miguel.

After what seemed like an eternity (18 years to be exact) his Chilean fans finally got a chance to swoon while he belted out all of his classics. The situation got a little out of hand when a couple of rowdy fans tried to get to the front of the stage and many ended up bruised, including members of the press. But overall, Chile was treated to an unforgettable night.

Other artists in the lineup include Camila, Marc Anthony and Luis Fonsi among many others. With all these amazing talents in one festival, there is bound to be more drama and chisme to come! We'll be sure to keep a close eye on Viña del Mar.

Forget lullabies. In the Rubio household, babies enjoy rockin’ songs like "Enamorada" and "Me Gustas Tanto!" And this month, Paulina's son Nicolas was treated to extravagant versions of all the hits when he watched his mom for the first time in concert.

Pau Pau brought Nicolas to one of her live Mexico performances celebrating Carnaval de Quintana Roo. The concert was based near the gorgeous island of Cozumel, which gave mama and son plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun.

Never shy about her bikini bod, Rubio even changed her Twitter pic to reflect the tropical vacay. Now you can see her and little Nicolas side-by-side in front of calm ocean waves.

Pau Pau went on to Tweet about her newfound "paradise" and thanked Quintana Roo official Roberto Borge for the concert invite. But we imagine the biggest highlight was for little Nico. Though he's just over a year old, we're sure he's now got a much better grasp on the star power of his famous madre.

Last night Miami rolled out the red carpet for Premio Lo Nuestro 2012 and turned up the heat! The much anticipated awards show included spectacular performances, controversial moments and what seems like hundreds of celebrities.

The show opened with none other than el "Cangri" Daddy Yankee who wowed audiences with 3D visuals unlike anything ever seen. The reggeatonero performed his smash hit Lovumba with futuristic robots and a shower of fireworks that exploded at his every step. Yankee even broke the song down in English yelling out "baby come and get it, I just can't wait anymore!" Shortly after his performance he won the best collaboration category with Prince Royce for Ven Conmigo.

Gloria Trevi kept the audience on its feet performing the classic 80's song Gloria with a Spanish twist. The singer rocked out looking incredible with a sophisticated pelo suelto look. With three nominations, it's easy to see why Trevi has become the icon she has.

The most talked about incident came from Chino y Nacho's performance of El Poeta, which unfortunately didn't come out as planned.

It was supposed to be that both Chino and Nacho descended from up above to the actual stage but only Chino was able to make it down. Nacho was stuck in the device that was supposed to bring him down and was finally brought down towards the end of the song leaving poor Chino to perform on his own.

The duo won the award for best tropical duo/group of the year and during their acceptance speech Nacho got emotional dedicating the award to his deceased father. He joked that he got stuck because his dad wanted him to sing closer to the sky.

There were other emotionally charged moments courtesy of the lifetime achievement winner Don Francisco, whose show Sabado Gigante has been on the air for 50 years! The award was presented by Enrique Iglesias who said,

"On behalf of all artists, I want to express my eternal gratitude to you. Sabado Gigante was the first show that I ever did."

Pepe Aguilar was also honored with an award for excellence and before accepting, he performed an amazing set of all his classics.

One of my favorite moments of the show was when Alejandra Guzman performed Dia De Suerte alongside Moderato. This was easily one of the best musical performances of the night and it concluded with Guzman flying into the sky like an angel. The singer won the award for best alternative rock song was also nominated for her collaboration with Moderato.

There were so many world premieres I lost count! Laura Pausini delighted the audience with her presence after a two year break from singing. Luis Fonsi vertically walked walls like a sexy hispanic spider-man for his debut performance of Claridad.

Tito El Bambino threw everyone Fuera De La Casa (not literally that's just the name of his new song) and he won the award for tropical album of the year while Paulina Rubio debuted her new single, Me Voy, alongside fellow Mexican Espinosa Paz.

Who could forget the king of bachata Romeo Santos?! He performed his new single Mi Santa alongside flamenco dancers and guitarists. His sultry voice melted everyones heart and left many women speechless. Of course the prince of bachata Prince Royce also made his presence felt, performing Cosas Pequeñas to an adoring fan base.

The best performances of the night (yes performancesssss plural) came from Mr. 305 Miami himself, Pitbull!

For his performance of International Love the stage turned into a full blown jet plane filled with sexy stewardesses and Chris Brown was the captain. Although I wasn't too convinced by Chris Brown's performance, Pitbull stole the entire show and performed again with Juan Magan to close the awards ceremony. Pitbull cleaned up at the awards show with premios for best album urbano and best artista urbano, dale!

All in all it was an incredible year for Premio Lo Nuestro that will surely go down in awards show history.

It looks like Paulina Rubio needs to hire a new accountant quick! The Latin pop diva reportedly owes a bundle in back taxes, both to the Mexican government and the American IRS.

According to Radar Online, Pau Pau owes nearly $800,000 in taxes and it looks like both countries are eager to collect. The U.S. Internal Revenue Service has already put a $132,000 lien against her in Dade County Florida, with an additional $77,000 lien in Broward County.

And interestingly, Rubio isn't the only celeb the tax man is after at the moment. RevRun from Run D.M.C. owes $450,000 in back taxes and R&B crooner Robin Thicke is being asked to pay up to $500,000!

But Pau Pau's total debt seems to trump them all. Let's hope she can push her new Brava! album to platinum status and pay back that debt ASAP.
