After months of worldwide protests and fanatic outcries, RBD will bid their final goodbye on December 21st.

Not everything has been color de rosas for the "Tu Amor" singers during their sold out international tour. The "Sálvame" singers recently had to perform without Maite Perroni in La Paz after la chica suffered a leg injury. Despite the accident, the bella brunette is determined to complete the tour and extend her final adiós in Madrid, Spain. Maite did confess that her patriotic spirit wishes that the final concert could take place in México, where it all started.

She states:

Queremos despedirnos en nuestro país, pero esperemos que nos den una fecha, aparte de la fecha en Madrid el 21 de diciembre. Estamos esperanzados para que todo terminé aquí, porque aquí empezó todo.

Sounds like an extra performance is in the works! El grupo are currently performing in Brazil and are set to hit Los Angeles on December 5th. What would you give to join RBD during their final goodbye? [La Oreja]

Surprise, surprise...Belinda is in the eye-of-the-storm yet again! This time the dirty chismes involve the Mexican singer being romantically linked to soccer player Giovani dos Santos.

The pro futbolista runs the field with his hard-hitting shots, but does Giovani have the stamina to keep up with Belinda? Let's just say he won't be shouting "Goal" anytime soon. According to the pop star, she is still single, but mingles with the famous player 'just as friends.'

She recently denied the rumors:

He's my friend, and that's it, nothing more, nothing less. If we're ever a couple, don't worry, I'll let you know, because there'd be no reason to hide it.

It was just a pregunta chica! Could it be that Belinda is simply playing the denial game? [People en Español]

Luis Fonsi owns an effortless romantic swagger that transforms players into haters in one single breath. The smooth operator flossed his seduction power with legendary sax player Kenny G at the Latin Grammy Awards, but the Boricua confesses that he has plenty of more in store...

His hit single "No Me Doy Por Vencido" has triumphantly mastered the art of attraction by dominating Billboard's "Hot Latin Songs" for eight consecutive weeks in a row. Luckily for us, Luis Fonsi reveals that he is determined to offer an amoroso dose of performances to el mundo entero.

The 30-year-old singer doesn't plan on taking a break during most of the holiday season. He states:

Sigue mucho trabajo, todavía me falta rehacer una última recorrida por toda Latinoamérica, por España, por México y el año que viene empezamos con la gira de conciertos.

His duet homeboy may have stolen corazones in the 80's and 90's, but Luis has it covered for now. What would you give to spend the holidays abroad with the "Palabras del Silencio" star?

Bueno, some of you won't have to dream for too long. Luis Fonsi is set to perform in Atlanta this Thursday for a Live Viva Radio Acoustic Show. Sweet satisfaction is just a song (and a plane ride) away. [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

Just when you thought Adrienne Bailon's semi-nude photo scandal was bad enough, Macy's decides to pull the plug on the Cheetah Girls performance at the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Disney reps have remained mum about the frisky fotos, but Adrienne is still feeling the backlash. Macy's executives have confirmed that the trio have been cut from the holiday fiesta due to 'scheduling issues.' Sin duda, many skeptics are questioning whether la chica's intimate hotel room pics could have fueled the cut.

Adrienne's reputation may have been ruined with the kiddies, but rumor has it that Playboy has already offered the brunette chica $100,000 for a 'tasteful' nude spread. No word yet on whether the Cheetah Girls star will actually accept (we doubt it).

In the meantime, Bailon does plan on striking her claws by filing a lawsuit against the laptop thieves at JFK Airport. Do you think the racy photos are worth all the hype? Better yet, will it cost The Cheetah Girls their Disney stardom? [The Daily News]

Steve Styles and Danny D. are backkkkk!

The new album by bachata duo Xtreme, Chapter Dos (Spanglish much?),  is the anticipated follow-up to debut Haciendo Historia. Not only is the bachata duo ringing in esta semana as the MTV Tr3s Artist of the Week, but they also let us cop their album for an exclusive listen before its official release.

Not only did the Bronx-born bandmates and Dominicanos brand Chapter Dos with hip-hop infused bachata beats, but they actually produced all 13 joints on the album. What are we digging right now?  Our favorite listen is their hit single "Through That Window (Enamorado Estoy)."

Get a sneak peek of Xtreme's Chapter Dos before the album drops here on MTV's The Leak.

Word on la calle is that Poncho Herrera plans on recovering from the RBD break-up with a solo career, but the hooded fly boy is denying all of the hype!

The ex-"Rebelde" singer appears to be one-for-all and all-for-one when it comes to his music career. Poncho spoke exclusively to "Open" magazine about his future plans, and declared that he will not continue to romance fans without the entire "Tu Amor" gang.

He affirms:

No voy a ser solista. No me veo como cantante.

Bueno, is Herrera simply going to vanish into la vida has-been? Not with that white collared shirt and black tie! The retired singer plans on continuing his passion for theater with three major Spanish obras, "Las Brujas de Salem," "Cómo matar a un ruiseñor," and "Antífona."

The handsome star admits that he is more focused and determined than ever:

Mi trabajo lo tomo en serio, porque es mi sustento y mi credibilidad. Estoy enfocando toda mi atención a mi labor y trato de vivir el presente, intensamente y disfrutar lo que me toca y estoy viviendo, siempre con mucha tolerancia y respeto por los demás; si lo pudiéramos hacer así viviríamos un poquito más en paz.

We are touched by how nicely this chico cleans up! Question is, will Poncho be best at playing the good guy or the villian? [Open Magazine]

The holidays came early for our favorite artists during the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards last night.

Julieta Venegas sparkled with alegría after winning "Best Alternative Music Album" and "Best Music Video - Expanded Version" for her masterful “MTV Unplugged” compilation. The glowing estrella also worked her accordion and vocal expresiones with a live performance of "El Presente." Luckily the timely celebration didn't end there.

La noche's theme was all about listening to the lyrics. Sin duda, Juanes encompassed the meaning with "La Vida Es un Ratico," which toppled the competition by snagging five Latin Grammy Awards, including "Album of the Year," "Best Male Pop Vocal Album," and "Best Song of The Year" for "Me Enamora."

The Colombiano also performed an R&B remixed rendition of "Odio Por Amor/Hate For Love" with the legendary John Legend. In between all of the excitement, Juanes gave a grande GRACIAS to everyone:

I can't believe it. I am very, very happy, very grateful to life, to music, to God, to the Academy. For me, this has been incredible. It's a dream.

His sueño appeared complete after sharing kisses with his amor Karen Martinez. The love didn't stop there...and no we don't mean Juanes ran around giving besos to all of las chicas! There were plenty of other artistas that celebrated their eventful win.

Flex also shared the romance by winning the award for "Best Urban Song" for his hit single "Te Quiero."

Professional reggaetoneros, Wisin y Yandel also flexed their smooth movimientos by winning the "Best Urban Music Album" Latin Grammy for "Los Extraterrestres."

Café Tacuba offered a heavy dose of energía with a show-stopping performance. The rocking quartet ruled the festivities by dominating the categories for "Best Rock Song" for "Esta Vez" and "Best Alternative Song" for "Volver a Comenzar."

The rocquero steez continued to take over with help from Belanova. The synth-pop rock band took home the Latin Grammy for "Best Duo or Group Album" for "Fantasía Pop."
