My favorite category in the Latin Grammys is usually best video, where you can truly see your favorite artist's vision of their work in action. Every year we are blown away by some particularly wonderful videos, whatever your criteria may be. Here's my pick for this year.

Shakira's 'Loca' makes me want to just get up and dance. It also makes me want to go to the beach. It's an upbeat, sexy video that is fun to watch and listen to. I like videos that do that: make you want to just go out and do some random thing. Also, seeing Shakira shake it like a Polaroid picture makes me want to go hit the gym.

One of my favorite videos this year would have to be 'Calma Pueblo,' by Calle 13. It's bizarre visuals, like, for starters, nuns playing guitar and a naked person mosh pit, are definitely something that will make you say, "What?" It also has a nice message of unity. Just don't get distracted by the naked guy playing guitar on the roof.

I feel I should give an honorable mention to Ricky Martin's 'Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tú.' This effervescent and care-free video makes your worries melt away just watching it. The bright vivid scenes paired with Ricky's melodious voice are harmony to my ears and eyes. I also feel it has a bit of a retro feel, taking me back to the 1990's. I dig it.

What music videos will you be rooting for this year?

Perhaps the Latin culture is starting to rub off on Katy Perry. After finishing up her powerhouse performance on the Rock in Rio stage, the pop star has returned to the states and hired Diego Luna to appear in her latest music video.

Known as one of Mexico's hottest hunks, Luna is actually no stranger to the music video world. Back in 2010, he went behind the camera to direct Calle 13's high-concept "Baile de los Pobres" video.

But for Katy's "The One That Got Away" he'll be flaunting his chops onscreen, playing her romantic love interest. The concept of the video is still shrouded in secrecy, but several paparazzi snaps have captured Perry sporting blonde hair and dressed up as an old lady.

We'll be very curious to see how it all shapes up. "The One" has already hit radio markets and should be moving up the charts in the next few weeks. With its upbeat rhythms and high school lyrics, we expect big things from the track. And having Diego in the video certainly won't hurt.

There is no doubt that Anahí is familiar with the word "click." The ex-RBD star has been in front of the camera since she was just a kid and now she's singing about it with a rocking new track for the upcoming novela, Popland.

Based on the life of a small-town girl who moves to the big city, Popland is all about lights, camera, and star-studded action. And Anahí's "Click" video perfectly captures that vibe, with theme park rides, neon lights, and plenty of cool set designs.

Joining her for the track are Latin pop stars Bryan Amadeus (sporting his trademark star eye makeup) and Ale Sergi. All three of them seem to be having a blast dancing and posing for "Clicks" in the upbeat video.

And as for Popland, you can catch it this fall on the Tr3s schedule. Hot Latino up-and-comers Sara Cobo, Ricardo Abarca, and Manuela Gonzalez are all confirmed to be part of the cast and we're sure they'll be keeping viewers VERY entertained.

Anyone who’s watched That 70’s Show knows that Wilmer Valderrama can definitely deliver laughs. And after a few heavy roles, it looks like he’s getting back to his comedy roots with a hilarious new music video spoof called "The Way I Fiesta."

Directed by Saturday Night Live alum Akiva Schaffer, the clip has Wilmer channeling a suave alter ego named Eduardo Fresco. It’s clear after watching the video that the character of Eduardo is an over-the-top parody of icons like Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull.

From the dancing girls in the club, to the sidekick rapper, to the sleeveless shirt we’ve seen way too many times, Schaffer and Valderrama do a great job of imitating the Latin music world’s cheesiest moments. But the real question is, where does Eduardo go from here?

Wilmer's already promoting the Fresco Twitter page and it's clear that the video had quite a budget behind it. So we’ve got to wonder, could this be leading up a faux Eduardo album? Or maybe even a full-blown movie? It all remains to be seen. But keep up with the Fresco tweets and we're sure you'll find an answer.

Could Jennifer Lopez be taking a cue from the new Facebook game Guerra Maya? It sure looks that way from the latest twitpic she sent her fans. Jenny from the block is at Mexico’s famed Chichen Itzá ruins for her new video shoot.

“Excited about my day tomorrow in Chichen Itza!!!” Lopez tweeted.

“First day of shooting the video for #imintoyou…I’ll send u pics tomorrow #LOVE?”

In case you’re wondering, the hashtags account for the new “I’m Into You” single with Lil Wayne and the fabled Love? album which has been talked about for years now. Originally slated to be released last summer, Love? is now set to drop on May 3 and for Lopez fans, it’s not a moment too soon.

As far as the Chichen Itzá themes go, that’s still a mystery. From the lyrics that have leaked so far, there are no choruses relating to ancient Mexican ruins. But we’re sure fans won’t care one bit once they see Lopez in that sexy snake-print sundress.

It’s obvious J. Lo’s putting a lot of “love” behind “I’m Into You.” Last month, she even launched a Facebook campaign to help stir interest and give fans the option of hearing it early. Produced by Stargate, it’s got a definite pop feel and Jennifer has announced she plans to perform it on American Idol May 5.

A while back we got to listen to David Archuleta's "Something About Love," the first single off his new Other Side Of Down album (dropping in October). We dug the song a lot and were actually quite curious to see how it would translate into a video.

Well now it’s finally hit, and the “Something” video is getting tons of positive fan reaction all over the web. As you can see on his Twitter page, David obviously appreciates the praise.

“Thanks for the positive feedback you guys on the video!!”

David Archuleta

We like it because it doesn’t try to be too ambitious. No other-worldly special effects, no slick fashion designs, just a simple portrayal of everyday life.

David starts off walking the streets in a basic t-shirt and jeans, dropping by the basketball court and admiring the urban landscape. Then we see him at a gorgeously lit evening party, under a sprawling night sky.

People having fun, shining sparklers, and posing for pictures…This is the kind of stuff we can all relate to (as opposed to Diddy flying over New York in a private helicopter). And it doesn’t hurt that the song is so catchy too. We still can’t get it out of heads!
