She may have graduated from playing Gabriella in the "High School Musical" franchise...

But Vanessa Hudgens isn't leaving her theater tricks behind. The Disney starlet is switching gears from niña buena to a true roquera role in the upcoming summer flick, "Bandslam." Hudgens reveals that she had to participate in rigorous musical training in order to play the part just right. From throwing kicks on-stage to holding the guitar con animo, the 20-year-old nailed playing the hard-edged character Sam.

The "Hannah Montana: The Movie" star made record breaking ticket sales for starring in the highest grossing rated-G film in the history of cinematography. Although some skeptics doubted whether Miley could dominate the box office, the country girl stacked-up $32 million during opening weekend, which quickly toppled "The Fast and the Furious" number one spot. All we have to say is that Disney better renew her contract before it expires!

Before British cutie Robert Pattinson stole our hearts in Twilight...

He was busy playing the renown and kinda loco Spanish artist Salvador Dali in the upcoming biopic, "Little Ashes." Expect to see Robert like you have never seen him before - rocking Dalí's animated mustache and participating in the film's homosexual subplot. It certainly breaks the mold from the typical follow-up scripts most pretty boy actors star in after a Hollywood breakthrough. But then again, this is no ordinary man we are talking about. In fact, we love R. Pattz for his versatility.

No matter what side of the fence you are on...

Everyone was shocked to hear that Chris Brown plead not guilty to two felony charges related to assault and violent threats yesterday in a Los Angeles court room. Rihanna fled to Barbados to avoid media attention, but her lawyer Donald Etra confirmed that the pop star would testify only if subpoenaed. The lawyer also stated:

Her position on the case is to leave the matters of guilt or innocence to the judge and or defense counsel.

Vanessa Hudgens has little tolerance for stinky rumors about her novio. The "Come Back To Me" singer warns fans not to trust all of the chismes flying around - especially the pesky one claiming that Zac does not like to lather up:

I heard a rumor that Zac Efron doesn't shower. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!

Por favor, Zac is so clean that he refused to get sweaty in the second coming of the 80s classic, "Footloose." He dropped out of the role in order to pursue a serious (non-musical) acting career. There's a big difference between being a sucio and shaking it like Ricky Martin. Wait, does that sound right? [Times]

Chris Brown is scheduled in court for arraignment this afternoon...

The 19-year-old could face up to four years in a federal prison for felony charges of assault and violent threats against Rihanna. Brown is expected to announce his plea, but his lawyers also have the option of requesting an extension. According to TMZ, Chris is expected to plead guilty in the case while his lawyers continue to arrange a plea-bargain deal. Sources close to Rihanna exclaimed that she does not wish to testify in the case.
