We know our girl America Ferrera is proud of her Latina roots but we feel her when she says that the press should consider her as an actress instead of labeling her as a “Latina” actress. America has been really busy lately promoting her indie flick Under the Same Moon (La Misma Luna), her Spanish-language flick Towards Darkness, and her upcoming major motion picture movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 in which she co-stars with Alexis Bledel due out this August! Somebody get Robert Rodriguez on the teléfono cause this chica needs to get in on the action in his upcoming Sin City 2 sequel! When asked about the film the Argentinean-slash-Mexican beauty looked completely clueless. Her face said it all about how little she knew on her part in Sin City 2. Even though rumor has it that the script is already done, we’re still rooting for her to get a part in the flick cause this babe’s character was pretty sweet. She caused a lot of trouble as Becky the prostitute in the first Sin City by backstabbing Rosario Dawson’s character towards the end of the film.What do you guys think? El Cangri made a movie about what’s really real in the streets of Puerto Rico. Drugs, violence, guns, you know, all that good stuff. Check out this really long ass trailer that pretty much sums up all the cool parts of the movie for you. In case you may not get the whole storyline, it stars Edgar (Hey, we have a Tio named Edgar!) the drug dealer (oh...) who falls in love and is offered a job of being a Reggaeton singer. BUT which life does he choose? The life of drugs or the life of fame and fortune? Hmm, tough decision there. Either way, we’re curious to see how Daddy Yankee handles his first film. No word yet on when the movie will be released in the States on the big screen or on DVD but in the mean time, tell us how you think the movie will do? Does Daddy Yankee have any acting talent?
