Sorry Rob Pattinson fans! Turns out lip-locking with the Twilight star isn't as sexy as you may think. Just ask his "Water for Elephants" co-star and love interest in the movie, Reese Witherspoon! According to the actress, Pattinson was under the weather while filming their kissing scenes and we are not talking a little just-drink-some-tea-and-you'll-feel-better kind of cold.
Reese Witherspoon recently said:
“Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I’ve ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life. He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it – and it was not appealing. I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting – I’m not kidding!"
And that's not all.
The Oscar-winning actress went on to say that Pattinson wasn't a good dancer either.
"You know, as dancers go, I wouldn’t say it’s his forte. Like, I wouldn’t say it’s his favourite thing, but it actually ended up turning out really well in the movie. We had some doubts whether we could pull it off; I’m not the greatest dancer either.”
She also added that she was very disappointed by the make-out sessions. Yeah, we would be too! Sounds like this couple's chemistry was agua y aceite...
Maybe they should have replaced Rob Pattinson for Taylor Lautner! Sometimes you just have to pick Team Jacob, right Twilighters?

Jamie Foxx is one of the most famous celebrities out there, and you’d have to be living under a rock not to have read or heard anything about his new upcoming animated film Rio which opens this Friday to rave reviews. I got the chance to interview Jamie in Miami Beach and I made sure I got some great facts about him you probably didn’t know...
1) Jamie Foxx loves sexy shoes:
When I came into the interview the first thing the Oscar winner said to me was: "Wow I looooove your sexy shoes." He was so vocal and expressive in his compliment, that Mr. Foxx even made me blush. "I love women with sexy shoes," he said… Now, how do you proceed with an interview after a comment like that?
2) Jamie Foxx doesn’t consider himself the most talented:
Talk about being down to earth, humble and honest. When discussing fame and fortune, I told Jamie I’ve always thought luck (good and bad) has much more impact than we’d really like to admit in our futures. Jamie Foxx agreed with me: "Oh, absolutely... there is a bit of luck in all of this… there are people that can do just about everything that I do, and even more, and they just didn’t get the break. When I got to LA I saw comedians that were extremely talented and I would wonder why aren’t they bigger. I was very fortunate, within a year I was already doing a television show. So a lot of it it’s also timing. Now, once you get that chance to do what you do you have to make it through, you have to make it work."
3) Jamie has lots in common with his character in Rio:
"I’d say we’re both romantics… I’m an incurable romantic" -And he sings a song with the lyrics “I’m a romantic... Romaaaanceee- then he continued: "We both love living our lives and we love music and love. I always wanted to be in animation so it was pretty fun… yet it took a little getting used to because I wanted to act."
4) Jamie considers In living color to be his first big real break:
"I got to do stand up before all of those people and once I got a standing ovation, and I said, ok, this is it."
5) The one moment Jamie knew he was finally famous:
"I knew things were going well when boys would say hi to me on the 7/11 store!"
Rio opens this Friday April 15th with amazing cast Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Carlos Ponce, Jaime Foxx, Rodrigo Santoro, Tracy Morgan, Jake T. Austin and Will.i.am.

A while back we told you Javier Bardem was being seriously considered for a lead role in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. Now it looks like it’s nearly a done deal, with the Biutiful star attaching himself to a three-movie contract, as well as a role in a potential TV mini-series.
In all honesty, Hollywood is a little overdue for an epic. Film series like The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter don’t’ come along often, but when they do, they hook fans in for hours upon hours of cinematic entertainment. The Dark Tower seems to fall right along those lines, with a story than spans seven lengthy books!
Bardem would be taking on the role of Roland the Gunslinger, a wild west outlaw who finds himself mixed into a world of fantasy and horror. There are also plenty of other characters from the novels whose roles King fans are anxious to see filled. One major part would be for Susannah, the tough-as-nails female lead who many bloggers are recommending Zoe Saldana for.
Fans of The Dark Tower know the story is littered with tons colorful characters, including Jake the kid (perhaps Rico Rodriguez?) and Eddie the heroin addict wisecracker (who Russell Brand would be perfect for). But whoever gets considered better wipe their slate clean for a while, The Dark Tower's shooting schedule is set to last until at least 2016.

Every time the movie The Crow is brought up, it creates mixed emotions. On one hand, it brings up memories of the tragic death of Brandon Lee. But on the flipside, it was an incredible rock and roll story about love and revenge. Now Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is hoping to keep audiences focused on latter when he takes on the challenge of rebooting the franchise.
Set to start production in the fall, this new version of The Crow will supposedly stay true to its comic book origins. Following the life of anti-hero Eric Draven, the story is actually very dark focusing on topics like lost loves, murder, and violent crimes.
Fresnadillo is actually well-versed in mature subject matter. His last film, 28 Weeks Later, featured flesh-eating zombies and several fierce gun battles. Though he’s only made a handful of films at this point, they’ve all been highly-acclaimed, particularly his Esposados short, which won him a 1996 Academy Award.
Even though a Crow lead hasn't been cast yet, we can envision plenty of brooding actors who would be perfect for the role. But the question is, would they take it on? Superstitious movie bloggers have long claimed that the brand is cursed, though we imagine having a skilled auteur like Juan Carlos behind the lens will lift the negative stigma and help this franchise soar again.

Who knew Russell Brand could be such a softie? Sure he’s known for his wild stage antics and adult humor, but beneath it all he may very well be a hopeless romantic. At least that’s what he conveys as the star and executive producer of the new film Arthur.
Based on a 1981 film of the same name, Arthur’s story does appear to be quite timeless. There’s the eccentric 30-something billionaire (though that may be a little harder to identify with in these tough economic times), the greedy fiancée, and the whimsical down-to-earth love interest who teaches him that money doesn’t buy happiness.
Yes, at its core, it’s definitely a story we’ve heard before. But with a talented cast and plenty of fresh elements, Arthur actually works quite well. Brand cited original star Dudley Moore as an inspiration and he definitely mixes in the same kind of bawdy British humor that the first Arthur was famous for.
Interestingly Helen Mirren’s nanny character was actually a male butler in the original film. Still called Hobson, she gives the sharp-tongued babysitter role a lot of heart. And it’s actually a difficult part to play. As Arthur’s nanny for over 30 years, she’s required to show both love and dismay towards his endless debaucheries.
Luis Guzmán has assumed the role of Arthur’s driver Bitterman, who was African-American in the first movie, and newcomer Greta Gerwig has now taken over the lead once made famous by Liza Minnelli. All of them do great work, but as the title implies, it’s the Arthur performance that the movie relies on.
Does Brand pull it off? Indeed he does. Throughout the two-hour film, he’s able to make the audience laugh, cry, and sympathize with the problems of a reckless billionaire (which is not an easy thing to do). Yes the commercials portray Arthur as a fun spring comedy, but underneath the laughter, it actually has quite a bit of heart.
Bottom line: It will be hard not to like Russell Brand after watching this film. If Arthur is any indicator of his potential, Russell’s star status may soon eclipse that of his famous wife.

If you thought Modern Family was a great forum for Sofia Vergara to get laughs, wait until you hear about her latest project. Believe it or not, the Colombian actress is now lined up to appear alongside Moe, Larry, and Curly in a new Three Stooges movie.
The upcoming film is actually a very hot Hollywood commodity at the moment and will be directed by the same team behind There’s Something About Mary. Interestingly it will not be a biopic about the famed 1930’s comedians, but rather an entirely new adventure featuring the three characters.
So far, Variety has confirmed that actor Will Sasso will be taking on the role nyuk nyuk knucklehead Curly and Will & Grace’s Sean Hayes will be portraying Larry. Though the part of Stooge leader Moe is still not confirmed, rumors have said that both Hank Azaria to Benicio del Toro have been considered .
As far as Sofia’s part goes, she is supposedly set to play "a devious woman who pretends to be the wife of a dying man and tells the Stooges she'll pay them a handsome sum if they kill the man in his sleep.” That sounds like a classic Stooge plot to us and a great vehicle for Vergara’s over-the-top style of comedy.

Sooner or later, all legendary musicians seem lend their talents to the cartoon world. This year we already had Elton John composing hits for Gnomeo and Juliet and now iconic composer Sergio Mendes is contributing five songs to the soundtrack of Rio.
Truth be told, Brazilian-born Mendes does seem like a perfect for the film. His tropical sounds, bossa nova grooves and trademark jazz fusions have won him multiple Grammys and sold millions of records around the world. The Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, and Erykah Badu have all cited Sergio as an influence.
And now, it seems like a whole new generation will get the chance to hear Sergio’s trademark sound. Created by the team behind Ice Age, Rio’s colorful animations, wild characters, and colorful backdrops are bound to appeal to kids of all ages.
Mendes already seems to be a quite a fan of the production. So much so, that this is actually the first film he’s ever written songs for in his 50-year career.
"The film is such a celebration of Brazilian life, of Carnival, the nature, the rhythms, the joy, the sensuality," Sergio told Billboard. "It's nicely timed with my record."
Rio will also feature a new re-recorded version of Mendes’ classic “Mas Que Nada.” But will audiences get an over-the-top animated version of Carnival? You’ll have to wait until it hits theaters April 15 to find out.

Rumors started swirling that Jencarlos Canela, Telemundo Network's rising star, might be planning a move to Univision after he snagged the best new artist award in the rival Network's Premio Lo Nuestro award show. However, the Cuban-American singer and actor has his sight set on far bigger plans: he wants to try his luck in Tinseltown.
From the sound of his recent interview with People en Español, Universal’s film division may have its eye on Canela.
"Me encanta el cine y esta es una gran oportunidad para mi carrera," Jencarlos explained. "Ya tenemos dos películas y la verdad se han presentado algunas oportunidades, pero tenemos que respetar el contrato de exclusividad con Telemundo. En cuanto finalice, no descarto la posibilidad empezar a tocar puertas en Hollywood. De hecho, hemos tenido algunos acercamientos con gente de Universal Pictures."
And right now Jencarlos Canela is fast becoming the “go-to guy” for NBC-Universal. Not only has he released a high-profile single tied in to Universal Pictures’ Hop, he’s scored a lead role in a novela produced by Telemundo (which also happens to be a subsidiary of NBC-Universal).
Though Mi Corazón Insiste hasn’t even begun filming yet, it’s generated plenty of buzz among Spanish soap fans. Following in the footsteps of Telemundo’s massive hit La Reina del Sur, it promises a big budget, an over-the-top storyline, and plenty of Jencarlos – which will definitely have an impact with the female viewers.
It will be Canela's fourth telenovela - it's, Más Sabe el Diablo that's responsible for all the buzz surrounding the handsome 21 year old.
It all sounds very exciting. Who knows? If Canela keeps Universal happy, maybe he’ll even get his own ride at the theme park.

We know what you’re thinking. There’s no way I’d drag myself to a family-friendly Easter movie unless I had screaming tykes dangling from my arms. Well, believe it or not, Hop’s making very good use of that PG rating, by blending colorful cartoon characters for the kiddies with lots of witty adult humor.
The Hop creators deserve credit on multiple levels. First off, the technical wizardry is amazing. Though it doesn’t have any of that 3D pizzazz you saw in Toy Story 3, the film’s ability to simulate rabbits on Sunset Blvd, peeping chick sleighs, and a wondrous Easter Island candy factory more than makes up for it.
Another reason to give the Hop team kudos is for the very original storyline. Sure we see tons of Christmas and Halloween movies every year, but when was the last time you had 90 minutes devoted to the Easter bunny? The magic, the candy, the colored eggs – this genre is truly untapped and Hop does a great job of highlighting the holiday’s best moments.
Each of the actors, both the live ones and the cartoon voice-overs, do great work with their roles. James Marsden deserves twice as much credit, since most of his scenes were filmed with a rabbit puppet (which was replaced in post-production by animated hero E.B.) and Kaley Cuoco probably gets one of the biggest laughs in the movie for a scene the trailer may have unfortunately spoiled.
On the animation side, Russell Brand comes off surprisingly sweet as good-natured bunny E.B. Though known for his adult brand of humor, he’s able to convey a naïve innocence with the character. Hank Azaria is also a standout as the voice of bad guy Carlos. And though some Latinos may be upset that a Chilean chicken was played by a Greco-American actor, he does nail the accent perfectly.
Hop’s actual plot conveys plenty of uplifting messages about following your dreams and standing up for what you believe in. Though E.B. has his rebellious moments and turns his back on his Easter bunny duties, he’s definitely a rabbit you can root for.
Bottom line: We dare you not to have fun at Hop. But those with a sweet tooth beware - the Hershey’s Kisses, Peeps, and Gummi Bears from the Easter factory may make you want to leave your seat and rush to the concession stand.

Just the idea of Oliver Stone tackling a gritty film set in the world of organized crime sounds interesting. Nearly thirty years ago, the writer-director shot to fame for creating Scarface’s legendary Tony Montana. Now he’s looking to breathe life into the drug kingpins from the book Savages, locking in Benicio del Toro as a bad guy lead.
Based on the popular 2010 novel by Don Winslow, Savages tells the story of two Laguna Beach marijuana dealers who find themselves doing battle with a Mexican drug cartel. Mixing gritty violence with bits of dark comedy, the plot has quite a few twists and turns and an over-the-top finale, much like Stone’s Scarface.
Savages the movie already seems to be on the Hollywood fast track. Deadline has confirmed Benicio’s involvement and also teased rumors about Salma Hayek Pinault joining the ensemble as a "Mexican drug cartel matriarch."
With Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch now in talks to play the marijuana dealers, only one more role up for grabs. That would be O, the Laguna Beach female lead who winds up getting kidnapped by del Toro's character. Though recent Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence is under consideration, we can think of another California native who would be absolutely perfect.
