It's been a hot minute since los ganadores de Making Menudo were announced last November. If you were wondering where Carlos, Chris, Emmanuel, José and Monti have gone...cálmate! The boy band-ers haven't gone anywhere but up.

The teenage cuties have been in el corre-corre of "boy band boot camp." When they weren't touring this past year, they recorded, danced, sang and learned how to work as a cohesive unit. Now the fab five have invested sus talentos in a full length album dropping September 9, 2008.

Until then, these Latin wonder boys have finished shooting a Spanish version, titled "Perdido Sin Ti," of their single "Lost." We caught up with the goofy guys and took some behind-the-scenes snapshots of the two shoots. Cheequenlos after the jump.

Whether its two blonde icons tongue wrestling, or a failed teenybopper comeback performance, the VMAs have always given us a reason to tune in year after year (Britney's VMA blunders alone could make for a week of Blogamole posts). Besides seeing tus artistas favoritos perform, you never know what type of insanity will unfold en vivo right before your eyes.

This year promises more madness as the show will tape live in Hollywood, Sunday September 7th. What makes this year's show even more theatrical is the fact that it will be staged over city streets, rooftops, and sound stages of the legendary Paramount Pictures studios.

Este año the VMA audience will have the opportunity of a lifetime -- they will be responsible for "executive producing" the show by helping MTV select which artists get nominated. We're not the only hot shots delivering you the chisme. Our beloved hermanos at MTV Buzzworthy helped us snag a miradita of Menudo during their Bandemonium tour, a 17-gig stint across the U.S. with boy bands NLT, Glowb and VFactory. After watching Menudo's first 'Bandemonium' tour diary submission it looks like the guys are headed off to a fine start. They look fine too! Ay Dios, we’re acting like a couple of school girls in love. So what did we learn about these popthrobs in Bandemonium Part 1? Apparently, greasy food is Menudo’s food of choice -- Jose loves using the microwave for heating up his precious pizza. Okay, nobody get jealous but we caught Emmanuel, Monti and Chris from Menudo hanging out with a very pretty lady, Katelyn Tarver, in Orlando, Florida. Don’t sweat it chicas, the boys were just there to give their good singer/song writer friend, who you may recognize from the now defunct reality show American Juniors, some moral support in the recording studio. Plus, Monti and Emmanuel gave us a good laugh rocking out to one of her songs with some silly dance moves. LOL, those guys are too funny. FYI, Menudo’s new single “Lost” off their upcoming album is available now on iTunes so make sure to check it out and tell us what you think!

Un montón de Menudo news today. We just got word that Menudo’s debut album will be hitting stores this August and you can expect to hear their first single muy pronto! Los chicos are also getting ready to film their first music video on April 27th in Los Angeles with part Boricua beauty Victoria Justice from Zoey 101! Oooo, that makes us muy celosos but we can’t wait to see the video when it premieres in May! More Menudo news after the jump.

We were so smitten with los chicos guapísimos de Menudo during their visit to Tr3s that we became fans for life! They really know how to charm the ladies. The guys gave us the juicy details on their personal life and hilarious pre-show antics. Apparently, they love to eat like crazy before and after their shows so all you chicas who know how to cook should give them a little snack during their upcoming tour!

The guys got cozy with us (*blush*) and shared a few things about themselves, including their favorite Latin foods and what crazy fans cropped up during their tour with popthrobs the Jonas Brothers. Plus, José revealed to us that he loves NYC so much he's considering moving to the Grand Manzana in the near future!
