As you may recall, just a few short months ago critics were ripping Christina Aguilera for her expanding waistline. Well last night she proved them all wrong, stepping out for a "date night" with a much slimmer physique.

Aguilera and steady Matt Rutler were spotted in West Hollywood dining at the chic Little Door restaurant. Sporting a form-fitting turquoise dress and little-to-no makeup, the 31-year-old pop diva wowed the paparazzi.

Xtina is actually riding high at the moment. Outside of her new look, Aguilera just renegotiated a big payday for season three of The Voice and is prepping a studio album.

And things in the romance department are working in Christina’s favor too. Throughout the night, she and Rutler were seen holding hands and getting very cozy at their candlelight dinner.

Last week, Christina Aguilera was "supposed" to be on a promotional tour for season two of The Voice. But of course, questions soon became focused on her growing physique. Proudly smiling for the press, Xtina claimed to be "very proud" of her voluptuous figure.

"Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny," she said. "As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need."

There is no denying that Aguilera has filled out quite a bit since her last media appearance. And the 30-year-old star wasn't afraid to flaunt it, stepping out in a very revealing zebra-print dress.

Xtina went on to say how her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, fully embraces her expanding curves.

"I have a boyfriend that loves my body," she added. "I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters."

Three may be a crowd at Christina Aguilera’s house right now. It seems the Burlesque star has invited her new boyfriend to move in to her Los Angeles home with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman, still living there!

First of all, we’ve got to wonder why Christina and Jordan continued to cohabitate after their divorce. They announced their split way back in September, and, by all accounts, it doesn’t sound like an amicable one. And Aguilera has been hooking up with her current beau, Matt Rutler, since November. Does that mean Bratman was still living there during their entire courtship?

According to Perez Hilton, the answer is yes! But we must keep a few things in mind. First of all, Aguilera has a huge Beverly Hills mansion, so it’s quite possible that several people could live there without ever bumping into each other. Another source claims Bratman is currently moving out and was only there to help look after their two-year-old son, Max.

Whatever the reasons, it certainly makes for a strange situation, especially since she invited her new beau to move in after dating for only two months.
