Mario Lopez is no rookie at firing up chismes. His player rep has been all over the tabloids since allegedly cheating on his Dancing With The Stars ex-novia Karina Smirnoff. Now People magazine's "Hottest Bachelor" of 2008 is switching up his game and making moves as the sole host of NBC's hit entertainment show Extra!. The fly chicano is kicking off the show's 15th season and replacing former hosts Dayna Devon and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray fame.

Keep your eyes locked on Julissa Bermudez because she won't be fading from view anytime soon. The Queens native landed on "The Roof" as Mun 2's bilingual host and nested a career as the first Latina host on BET's "106 & Park" back in 2005. Now, Julissa is remixing her career with help from the most krump-tastic, hard-hitting, tricked-out dance show.

The 24 year-old Dominicana will be exercising her VJ skills on MTV's pre-show for "America's Best Dance Crew," premiering on July 24th at 8:30 pm EST. Besides bringin' the flava to the second season of the MTV hit, Julissa is prepping to make a splash on the big screen with her role in the upcoming dance drama "Make It Happen."

We had a charla with the industry renegade. She dished with us on taking over Hollywood (who could turn this chica down for a job -- look at those lashes!) and the importance of giving back to la comunidad.

Guess who's coming to primetime? Yup, Lipstick Jungle is coming back this Fall with a new shade of brown. Sources reveal that Rosie Pérez and Puerto Rican heartthrob Carlos Ponce are coming to NBC’s Lipstick Jungle for multi-episode arcs in the new season, which premieres Sept. 24.

Executive producer Oliver Goldstick confirmed the news and revealed inside details on their roles. Carlos Ponce (who apparently beat out Mario Lopez for the role!) is set to play Rodrigo, a potential love interest for Lindsay Price's character, Victory Ford, while Rosie Pérez will be playing Dalia, Victory's passionate new publicist.

And who can we credit for this diversity inclusion? Goldstick claims his inspiration for the role was none other than Salma Hayek, whom he worked with on Ugly Betty.

To Salma, nothing’s unreachable and no one’s untouchable. That’s what I love about her, that can-do approach to everything, and I thought that was a great character to introduce to the show.

Salma is always taking one for the team. We love diversity on la tele! Besides we miss Rosie! It's been a minute since the days of It Could Happen To You and White Men Can't Jump. This role sounds like it will be good for her, even if it is on the smaller screen. Qué piensas tú? [E! Online]

It seems all the rumores going around regarding Mario's break up with DWTS reina Karina Smirnoff are true. Mario Lopez revealed he’s been offered to pose nude for Playgirl magazine but “politely declined” because it’s not something he would do at the moment. Great, there goes our intimate nighttime fun. Is Mario Lopez gettin played dirty? His mujer and Dancing With The Stars pro Karina Smirnoff has been seen getting close with her current DWTS partner, R&B singer Mario! Guess the girl has a thing for guys named Mario. But Karina is denying all accusations saying her "hook up" with singer Mario is a joke. The New York Post broke the story on Karina and Mario's secret make out sessions at the Four Seasons in L.A.

"They were making out by the valet with their hands all over each other, and he was whispering in her ear," said our source. "It was around midnight, so there weren't many people around."

Well, we hope Karina is telling the truth or else she's gonna have some serious explaining to do if she's really cheating on our hunky Latino! [NYP]
