Las Vegas superstar Holly Madison is definitely keeping abreast of her situation- literally. The star recently took out a $1 million dollar insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd's of London insurance company.

Madison, 31, had breast surgery in 2001 and went from a small A-cup to a Pamela Anderson sized D-cup. This instantly got her the attention of her famed ex and founder of Playboy, Hugh Hefner. After the pair split in 2008, Madison became the star of the sizzling Las Vegas production of Peepshow.

She confirmed to People Magazine that ensuring the safety of her money makers was a logical decision and a necessary precaution for herself,

"I've heard about people get body parts insured and I thought, why not? Because if anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars."

While many would agree that breasts are certainly a girl's best friend, many would also agree that insuring them for $1 million is a bit excessive. Yet, it makes perfect sense when we consider that Madison has made an entire career off of her goods and keeping las gemelas safe keeps her in the spotlight.

She is in good company: other celebrities like Rihanna, Mariah Carey and even Jennifer Lopez have all insured famous body parts. Jennifer Lopez was rumored to have various body parts insured such as her famous backside, which is estimated to be worth 300 million!

Let's hope Holly never has to cash in on her insurance policy.

Should celebrities insure their body parts? What do you think of this trend?

First J. Lo, now Mariah Carey! Who knew that the Home Shopping Network had so much celebrity pull? Over the weekend, the legendary R&B diva appeared on HSN, smiling, laughing, and (most importantly) hyping her wide assortment of products.

Interestingly, the HSN appearance is one of Mariah's first public outings since giving birth to her twins back in April. Looking healthy and happy, the new mom had quite a lot of goodies to share with her fans.

There was the Mariah Carey "Butterfly Ring," the Mariah Carey crystal hoop earrings, and the Mariah Carey "Lollipop Splash" perfume (just to name a few). Even hubby Nick Cannon dropped by the studio to show his support and help sell some stuff.

But perhaps what set Carey's appearance apart from Jennifer's was her fun and candid demeanor. Mariah seemed to be very loose and lighthearted, even making jokes about her strenuous pregnancy.

"I'm proud of myself," Carey exclaimed. "Being pregnant with twins is different from anything. My friends said 'it was worth it.' That's easy for you to say when you're not the one whose feet are enormous!"

Judging from the enthusiastic calls and online praise, Mariah's HSN appearance was a bona-fide hit! Let's hope we can get her back in front of the camera more often in the next few months.

An 18 year-old German music hacker is going to jail for stealing from Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Ke$ha and Leona Lewis.

Dj. Stolen made honor to his artistic name by stealing music, demos and personal info from the musicians and selling them on the internet for over 13,000 sterling pounds. According to the BBC, the hacker used phishing emails and trojan horse software to steal unpublished songs and then offered them on the internet for sale.

The hacker's purpose, according to the courts, was to be recognized. Well, then his 15 minutes of recognition gave him 18 months of jail time in juvenile detention and court ordered internet addiction treatment.

In the German tabloid The Daily Bild, the hacker, who's name is not being released for legal reasons, issued an apology to his idol Gaga by saying:

"Dear Lady GaGa, I am ashamed of what I have done. I did not think about the consequences."

What do you think of the jail sentence for this music Juvi? Do you think Gaga and the other artists should forgive him?

Some voices never go out of style. Though he’s been crooning soft hits for nearly 60 years, Tony Bennett’s trademark sound is still as relevant as ever. Now the 84 year-old legend has announced he’s recording a new Duets album and he’s bringing along Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, and Alejandro Sanz to join him.

Bennett loves sharing the mic with superstars. His 2006 album Duets: An American Classic paired him with artists like Paul McCartney and Celine Dion. Seeing how it sold millions of copies and won him two Grammys, it’s no surprise that Tony is ready for a follow-up.

And Bennett is no stranger to incorporating a few Latin rhythms into his eclectic style. On his first Duets album, he recorded the 1960’s classic “The Shadow Of Your Smile” with a little help from Colombian rocker Juanes. Though the track Tony and Alejandro are recording together hasn’t been confirmed, we imagine it will incorporate at least a few of Sanz’ trademark salsa inflections.

Anyone subscribing to Alejandro’s Twitter account could obviously see how impressed the Spanish singer was to be in the presence of a musical icon.

“The great Tony Bennett, just recorded a duet for his new album that will be released in september. It was soo amazing to record with this legend and in the very studio Elvis made most of his music. Ay ay ay, life is sweet!”

Tony Bennett’s Duets II is scheduled to be released this September.

We’re sure you get a lot of lucrative offers thrown at you when you’re a world-famous musician — offers to play lavish weddings, bar mitzvahs, or, if you're really famous, you may even get hired to give an intimate performance for a Libyan dictator! Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Nelly Furtado all gave private shows for controversial despot Muammar Gaddafi. And now, Nelly wants to donate the money she made to charity.

Furtado earned a cool $1 million doing a private performance for Gaddafi and his clan in 2007 at a hotel in Italy, and, according to her recent tweets, she isn't proud of it.

“In 2007, I received $1 million from the [G]adhafi clan to perform a 45-minute show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the money.”

One of the longest-serving dictators in history, Gaddafi has been the center of major controversy as he has responded to Libyan citizens' protests with violence and intimidation. He's also accused of participating in terrorist acts.

Obviously that inspired Nelly to give away the money she was paid by the Gaddafi regime. And Furtado is not the only one. Beyoncé also announced that she was donating the $1 million she made off the dictator to Haitian relief. That only leaves Ms. Mimi, who’s been surprisingly quiet on the matter. Let’s just hope her earnings didn’t all go to hubby Nick’s exorbitant birthday party.

Mariah Carey seems to be full of surprises these days. First she confirmed that she and hubby Nick Cannon are expecting, and now we’re getting word that she’ll be delivering twins. The 40-something pop diva also confessed that she had a difficult time conceiving, so we’re sure this news is twice as nice for the parents-to-be.

And who was the first person she shared the happy news with? According to Cannon, it was President Barack Obama.

"She shared with the President and the First Lady that we are having twins," Nick told New York’s 92.3 Now radio station. "I haven't even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission."

Who knew the Cannons and the Obamas were so close? Could Mariah be thinking of assigning godfather duties to the commander-in-chief? Probably not, but we imagine Mr. Prez would have a lot of wisdom to share with the little ones once they get older.

Unfortunately, Nick wasn’t ready to reveal the babies' genders just yet. Perhaps a cute boy and girl set like J. Lo’s Max and Emme? It doesn't really matter, as long as they're healthy, Nick said.

"[The latest ultrasound revealed] everything is A-OK, both babies are healthy, in tip-top shape," Cannon said. "The doctors are extremely happy. We are extremely happy."

We're happy to hear the good news! The babies should be entering the world sometime this spring.

It seems like just yesterday when Nick Cannon was the king of the high school flicks, starring in movies like Drumline and Love Don’t Cost A Thing. But believe or not, Mr. Mariah Carey just hit his thirties and celebrated in style (with his wifey of course) at a chic NY hotspot!

Thrown at the trendy Lavo Restaurant in downtown New York, Nick’s 30th b-day bash was a very hot affair and featured tons of fun for his celebrity guests.

Artists like Ne-Yo got to indulge in a very extravagant DJ–shaped cake (complete with headphones and a microphone). After that there were Wii battles and sugary sweets for all the friends. Plus, how awesome would it be to get “Happy Birthday” sung to you by Mariah Carey?!

Of course, the question on everyone’s mind was whether or not Mimi was showing. For months there have been speculations that Mrs. Cannon was expecting. Though she did sport a long trenchcoat and a loose dress, no one was talking about baby rumors during the big night. Maybe we’ll have a better idea in six months at Mariah’s next birthday bash.

Rich, powerful, and married to one of the hottest Latinas on the planet…Yeah, Tommy Mottola’s got a pretty good life. And with over four decades in the music business, you can be he’s got some juicy details to spill. That’s why we were very excited to hear that Thalia’s hubby is planning to publish a tell-all memoir!

Born in the Bronx to a working-class family, Mottola is truly an American success story. A college dropout, he went on to oversee acts like Jennifer Lopez, and Destiny’s Child, and by the ‘90s ran all of Sony Music. Along the way he amassed a fortune well over $100 million dollars!

We imagine his insider stories could fill up hundreds of pages, and that’s even before getting into the Thalia wedding. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Mottola’s book editor, Ben Greenberg, said,

“There will be a lot of new stories. Something about it that was interesting to me…was the way he entered the business, dropping out of college and all that. I didn’t really want it to be an inside baseball type thing where it’s only interesting to people who are really into the music industry itself, or who work in the music industry, so for it to have more of a commercial appeal, I think it’s important that he tell stories that everyone can relate to.”

Of course, Mottola’s career wasn’t entirely rosy. There were those incidents of Michael Jackson branding him a racist and a famous fallout with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Will all of that be addressed? We don’t fully know, but it will be very interesting to see how he spins each story.

Tommy Mottola’s book, “The Last Starmaker” is set to hit shelves in 2012.

We’re not sure what’s more dramatic, the "American Idol" eliminations or figuring out the people who pick them! First it was Paula, then Simon, Ellen, and Kara…all taking a hike from the judges seats. Which leaves us wondering, who’s left to fill the void?

Jennifer Lopez

A few weeks back, all eyes were on J. Lo, but now there are reported conflicts within the "A.I." camp. According to several unnamed sources, Jennifer’s diva-esque demands were a little too steep for FOX producers, so they began looking elsewhere for contenders.

But then, over the weekend, producer (and "So You Think You Can Dance" judge) Nigel Lythgoe was quoted as saying, "These people don't know Jennifer Lopez. She's a wonderful woman. I've never seen her be a diva in her life!"

Rumors of Mariah Carey stepping in began swirling too…Thanks in part to what hubby Nick Cannon told the Hollywood Reporter:

“She talks about it. She says ‘I would love to do that. She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great.”

But if “A.I.” is supposedly nervous about J. Lo being a diva, chances are they’ll have a hard time keeping up with Mimi's high demands. So who else does that leave?

Now, all eyes are focused on Shania Twain (who’s already done guest judging and mentoring) and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

Whoever they pick, these execs better make up their mind quick! “American Idol” season 10 is set to premiere in January and the hype machine is already kicking into gear.

Producers, if you’re reading this, why not just save us all a lot of hassle and go with Team Blogamole’s picks?
