The Yankees bullpen may be cursed with a losing streak lately, but Alex Rodriguez is still throwing us hard-hitting chisme by running his bills for Madonna's charity Raising Malawi. According to a snitch, the Bronx Bomber is taking one for the team by donating at least $500 million to Madge's organization, which offers medical and educational aid to African orphans.
Let's not forget that this generous pimp still owes his ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez some serious dinero for child support. This player needs more practice at his game because he should know that dropping cash on more than one mujer spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. [The Daily News]
While Madonna and Guy Richie are sorting out sus problemas in spiritual counseling, Alex Rodriguez is heating up the drama by firing back about his sticky divorce with ex-mujer Cynthia Rodriguez. According to People, the Bronx Bomber player strongly denied all the infidelity allegations, but admitted that his marriage is "irretrievably broken."
Just when you think this story has been dragged out long enough some sneaky cameraman comes along and adds fuel al fuego. It appears there's a sex tape going around of A-Rod and the Material girl. The horror! Their careers seemed successful enough minus the sex tape scandal, so we're confused why they went the Paris Hilton route. Sigh.

We all knew the real dirty secretos were bound to hit the field sooner or later. Alex Rodriguez and estranged wife Cynthia Rodriguez may have finalized the divorce papers in court yesterday, but new rumors are swinging about A-Rod's notorious down-low romance with Madonna.
While Madonna is holding on tightly to her marriage, we can't say the same for drama queen Alex Rodriguez. According to the Associated Press, Cynthia Rodriguez filed papers for divorce this morning in Miami, where the two own an estate.
While rumors about his infidelity with Madonna might be unfounded, A-Rod isn't going to win a premio for Perfect Husband. His wife Cynthia cites "emotional abandonment" and a "long period of infidelity" on the part of Mr. Rodriguez as two reasons driving to divorce.
Guess the Madonna thing was really the last straw for the all-star esposa; she's even accused hubby Alex of being brainwashed by Madge and her Kabbalah ways! [Associated Press]

Madge Denies Romantic Ties to A-Rod

Despite all the recent bochinche placing Madonna in an oh-so-steamy love affair with baseball star Alex Rodriguez, the material girl claims that she is happily married to Guy Ritchie:
My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study. I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the internet.
Whew, we were afraid another Hollywood union was going down the drain. Now we can all sleep at night!

We reported to you yesterday that Shakira was in talks to sign a big bucks deal with concert promoter Live Nation. Today the chisme was confirmed!! After being part of the Sony familia since she was thirteen, Shakira is ending her contract and picking up a new one with Live Nation.
No hay duda que Shakira's got game. She signed a deal that's reminiscent of the ones signed by U2, Jay-Z and Madonna (no wonder Hard Candy got about 4 minutes of fame -- Madge was hot to drop that album as her last commitment to Warner Bros. so she could move on to her Live Nation gig). As part of the new deal, Live Nation will own the rights to Shakira's future recordings, concert tours, merchandise, sponsorship and digital promotion.

Hello, Hollywood: VMAs '08 Hit Tinseltown

Whether its two blonde icons tongue wrestling, or a failed teenybopper comeback performance, the VMAs have always given us a reason to tune in year after year (Britney's VMA blunders alone could make for a week of Blogamole posts). Besides seeing tus artistas favoritos perform, you never know what type of insanity will unfold en vivo right before your eyes.
This year promises more madness as the show will tape live in Hollywood, Sunday September 7th. What makes this year's show even more theatrical is the fact that it will be staged over city streets, rooftops, and sound stages of the legendary Paramount Pictures studios.

Este año the VMA audience will have the opportunity of a lifetime -- they will be responsible for "executive producing" the show by helping MTV select which artists get nominated. Shakira is proving that her industry hustle is just as tight as her supernatural caderas. Word on la calle is that la bella Colombiana has just signed a $70 million partnership with concert promoter Live Nation which is known for representing high-end clients like Madonna and Jay-Z.
