If you see a red-haired celebrity barreling down the street in a Maserati, get out of her way! Chisme queen Lindsay Lohan got served a lawsuit this week after hitting a Dominican-American nanny with her sports car!

The incident happened back in September 2010 and now the victim is going after La Lohan for an undisclosed sum. Apparently, Nubia Del Carmen Preza was struck in West Hollywood after Lindsay ran a red light in her Maserati.

To make matters worse, the nanny was wheeling a stroller across the intersection when it happened! Thankfully nobody was killed, but Nubia said the incident led to "disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish."

TMZ claims that there were several witnesses to the accident, which means Lindsay will have a tough time proving her innocence. So far her camp is refusing to comment, but we're sure plenty more details will emerge in the coming weeks.

It seems that Hollywood's goddesses protect Lindsay Lohan's career! We all saw that she channeled Marilyn Monroe for her recent Playboy pictorial, and now the actress' next big film role could be portraying another Hollywood legend, Elizabeth Taylor!

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story," would focus on Taylor's long and public romance with Burton. The film was originally announced as part of Lifetime's 2011-2012 development slate.

Elizabeth and Richard were married twice -first from 1964-1974, and again from 1975-1976. Last month, the late actress' jewelry collection, including a number of pieces that were gifts from Burton, went for $137 million as part of an auction of Taylor's possessions that sold for a total of $157 million.

Lindsay playing Liz might is a very good thing for Lohan's career, indicating she hasn't hit rock bottom as some like to smear all over the tabloids. Hollywood loves a good comeback, and hopefully this will be the perfect role for this beautiful young star. Like Taylor, Lindsay was famous at a young age and grew up in the spotlight.

The project helmed by producer Larry Thompson has been in development since May 2011.

We've been hearing about the Linda Lovelace biopic for quite some time now. The legendary porn star was supposed to be played by Lindsay Lohan. But after that fell apart, many thought the movie wouldn't see the light of day. Not so! In fact, now two flicks are in the works, including one with Bobby Cannavale.

Cannavale has just joined Lovelace, which stars Amanda Seyfried as the 70's sex queen. The part-Cuban hunk will play Butchie Peraino, one of the financial backers of the famous Lovelace film Deep Throat.

The other Linda film will be titled Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story and star Malin Ackerman. Interestingly, Inferno was the movie that originally had LiLo in the headlining role.

We're actually much more excited about Bobby's project. His movie will apparently delve much deeper into Lovelace's dark past and feature appearances from Hank Azaria, Sharon Stone, and Wes Bentley. Look for both films to arrive by late 2012.

If you're reading this to find out about another crazy drunken escapade Lindsay has gotten into, well you'll just have to look elsewhere. Yes ladies and gents, it appears LiLo has actually grown up and taken responsibility for her own actions! Don't believe me? Just ask Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, she commended the star for doing her community service and promised to end her probation as early as February if she continues the good work.

Lohan and her attorney, Shawn Holley, were beaming with excitement at the news as the judge stated,

"Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work. You are doing well and I would like to see it continue."

This has been quite a year for the troubled actress, just last month she served a required 12 days of community service at the Los Angeles County Coroner's office and one more than her four mandated therapy sessions. The Judge imposed these requirements on Lohan for violating probation on two convictions including jewelry theft and driving under the influence in 2007.

In the past Judge Sautner seems to be very annoyed by Lindsay but this time around both parties were pleased with the work that was accomplished.

"We have the holidays coming up. You can travel to see your family," the Judge told Lindsay.

Now it is up to LiLo to complete her additional 12 days of community service and four therapy sessions by Jan. 17th if she wants her probation to end.

Despite everything, I am still team Lohan and I have no doubt that she will make a comeback. Lindsay herself if admitting to her mistakes, in the latest issue of Playboy the actress reveals,

"Looking back, I probably would have listened and taken more advice from the people whom I admire and would have followed through with it more."

But is more freedom what Lindsay needs? Only time will tell.

You would think we would be used to scandalous news about Lindsay Lohan by now, so it was no surprise that she finally made it to the pages of Playboy. What is shocking about this bit of news is how horrible she looks on the cover of the January/February issue of 2012.

While the cover was due for its reveal next week, pictures of it were leaked by The Insider online. Lindsay is seen

"channeling a Marilyn Monroe look. She's sitting naked (minus a pair of black stiletto heels) on a chair with the iconic Playboy logo covering her private parts."

Classy. Lindsay straddling the Playboy bunny. I'm sure LiLo wouldn't have it any other way.

Seasoned Playboy magazine fans know that the magazine has traditionally hidden the Playboy bunny logo on the cover of every issue since the magazine's second issue went to press. However, the bunny logo is hardly hidden on this particular cover at all.

In fact, the giant red bunny head actually overpowers the page, and seems to be hiding Lindsay and her lady parts, as well as most of her body. Perhaps it's doing us all a favor. Yes, now that I think about it, maybe it's better this way.

While the cover might seem tacky and slutty, Lindsay's publicist, Steve Honig, insists

"the pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay."

I'm sure it's all relative in the grander scheme of things. Her publicist has had to deal with far worse things she has done, I'm sure. I could insert a joke about which side, exactly, of Lindsay you'll actually be getting a glimpse of, but that would be far too easy.

Pitbull has filed a counter suit against Lindsay Lohan over a defamation lawsuit she filed against him back in August. The actress accused the rapper of exploiting her name in his hit Give Me Everything, in which he says "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."   Pitbull claimed that the slang term was supposed to be a positive message about how Lindsay runs her life the way she wants and has it under control.

It looks like those Playboy shutterbugs better hurry up and finish Lindsay Lohan's photo shoot. Hef's newest centerfold just got sentenced to 30 days in jail for a series of court violations.

According to OMG!, Lohan technically received 300 days, which would be fully enacted if she violates her probation again. Right now, the time served would only equal about a month (and perhaps even less because of California's crowded prison system).

Lindsay appeared in court this morning and seemed to fully accept the terms of her punishment. And to many, the Machete star actually got off easy. Lohan has notoriously skipped out on her community service requirements and even left the country while on probation.

But things may change drastically at this point. The judge in Lindsay's case has now assigned a "no-nonsense" probation officer to help keep her in line. And if there's one more slip up, Lohan could be spending a good chunk of 2012 behind bars.

Back from her widely criticized appearance to celebrate the controversial Chechen president, Hillary Swank has begun to fire those responsible for arranging her visit.

U.K.'s The Independent Newspaper reported that Swank fired her friend and manager of eight years, Jason Weinberg, whom she thanked during her speech after winning the best actress Oscar for Million Dollar Baby.

The two-time Oscar-winning actress had accepted a six-figure fee for her exclusive happy birthday wish to Chechnya's autocratic President Ramzan Kadyrov, who is accused of the torturing dissidents, political assassinations and encouraging citizens to abuse immodestly dressed women.

Swank' decision comes three weeks after human rights groups blasted the actress along with Jean-Claude Van Damme, violinist Vanessa Mae and singer Seal for attending the 35th birthday party of Chechnya's president. Swank pledged to donate her fee to "various charitable organizations," and said "[she] deeply regrets attending."

Prior to the event, Weinberg -whose clients include Madonna, Demi Moore and Lindsay Lohan- reportedly told New York-based organization Human Rights Foundation that Hilary "had no plans to attend."

Creative Arts Agency reps Amie Yavor and Josh Lieberman, who traveled with Hilary to the event, also received their pink slips and were pulled off of Swank's team. It looks like Swank has no plans to end her relationship with CAA, since her partner of five years, John Campisi, works for the agency.

Sure today may "technically" be Halloween, but this past weekend was when all the true partiers dressed up and celebrated. And that includes the Hollywood circuit too. Saturday night, tons of celebs hit the Twitterverse to show off their costumes and post shout outs from their favorite fiestas.

Sofía Vergara may have taken a few pointers from our costume blog. This past weekend, the Modern Family star posted a very cute picture of herself dressed up like an Angry Bird. Tweeting the message, "Ready for Halloween!," she gave a friendly wave from her home bathroom.

Zachary Quinto wasn't shy about sharing his costume with the world either. The recently outed actor decided to dress himself up as "fireworks" this year. But rather than spend a ton at the local Halloween shop, he improvised and went the budget route.

Lindsay Lohan was all smiles this weekend too. Just Jared posted some very sexy pictures of the future Playboy centerfold at a Saturday night costume party. And, for the record, she did not go as a jailbird this year, but rather a scantily dressed French maid.

And though J. Lo wasn't sharing her costume secrets, her image was still all over the Twitterverse. Sporting a velvet pink jumpsuit and oversized sunglasses, Nicole Richie posed as Jennifer this year alongside her hubby Joel Madden (who went as writer Hunter S. Thompson).

"Don't be fooled by the rocks dat we got! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Love JLo & Hunter S. Thomson," Richie tweeted.

Over in the posh Pacific Palisades section of Los Angeles, Kate Hudson hosted some very famous costumed faces at her annual Halloween bash. Stars like Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones, and David Arquette dropped by, but it was Gwen Stefani's Cinderella ensemble that attracted the most attention.

And the winner for the craziest celebrity costume of 2011 was undoubtedly Heidi Klum. This year she hosted a huge party at The Venetian in Las Vegas and came dressed as a skinless model! Yup, her muscles, limbs, and organs were all on display, making for a freaky red carpet experience.

There's been a whole lot of Lohans in the news this week. Just a few hours after news broke about Lindsay's Playboy deal, her dad Michael was arrested in Florida on domestic violence charges.

Sr. Lohan was taken into custody Tuesday morning after his live-in girlfriend, Kate Major, accused him of shoving her and violently squeezing her arm. Apparently the argument escalated because Kate wouldn't give in to Michael's sexual demands.

Perhaps the craziest part of this whole story has to do with how Lohan was booked. After being taken into custody, Michael began complaining of chest pains and was taken to a local ER. Once there, he tried to escape and was ultimately brought down to the station and frisked in his hospital gown.

As of right now, Major has gotten a restraining order against Lohan, but we doubt it'll be the last time we see these two together. Michael and Kate went through a similar "violent" spat back in March and, not surprisingly, she took him back shortly thereafter.
