Sure we like to poke fun at all of the chisme stories celebrities get entangled in, but when it comes down to it, most of Hollywood has a very big heart. And this weekend brought out a ton of stars helping needy families at Thanksgiving soup kitchens.

Kim Kardashian made a very public appearance at the Los Angeles Mission on Thursday, dishing out turkey and biscuits to hungry So Cal residents. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana also lent a helping hand, much to delight of their hungry fans.
Elsewhere in the country, famous names like Chris Bosh, Mike Epps, and Lil Wayne made charitable appearances and even handed out whole turkeys. Judging from the pictures that were posted online, it's clear their good tidings were a huge success and helped set a good example to everyone watching giant floats on their TVs.
Positive vibes made their way to the Twitterverse too, with tons of celebrity well-wishers sending out grateful posts for their holiday dinners. Harold & Kumar’s Neil Patrick Harris told his followers what he was most thankful for.
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone. There are so many things to be thankful for this year, I’m very blessed. Hope you had a stress free day," he posted.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi threw in a heart symbol for her holiday tweet.
"Happy Thanksgiving tweedos!!! Enjoy your time with your fam ♥," she wrote.
And several Tr3s faves made sure their fans shared in the turkey day love too.
"Happy Thanksgiving!.. Let's be thankful for what we DO have.. For just breathing fresh air is a blessing. My love to you all!" came from Wilmer Valderrama's account.
Eva Longoria wrote,
"Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Have a beautiful day with your families and give Thanks to God and anyone who contributes to your life!"
And what holiday is complete without a Sofia Vergara tweet? She even added a little Spanglish into her festive post.
"Feliz thanksgiving everybody!" she tweeted.
Of course, not all celebs made their messages about turkeys. This year, several famous bloggers encouraged their fans to skip Thanksgiving's traditional birds and stick with a vegetarian-based dinner.
"Did you know that every year between 250 and 300 million turkeys are bred for slaughter in The United States?" Ellen DeGeneres wrote. "More than 46 million for Thanksgiving alone. So, this Thanksgiving, instead of eating a turkey, please join me in adopting one from Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt A Turkey Project and you can give a turkey something to be thankful for."
Actress Alicia Silverstone backed up her famous friend, writing,
"It's so simple to create a delicious holiday meal without animal cruelty. I promise no one will miss the turkey! Enjoy!"
Don't worry, we're not judging any turkey eaters. But we definitely respect everyone's opinion and all of the stars who were willing to add a little charity into their four-day weekend.

Basketball Wives reality TV star Evelyn Lozada just signed a movie and book deal with Cash Money Content that will have her spilling her guts about what it's like being a basketball wife. I'm sure you can call her an expert on that. Lozada is currently engaged to Chad Ochocinco, from the New England Patriots. She was also formerly married to Anton Walker, former player for the Boston Celtics.
Lozada will co-write a book series called The Wives Association with Courtney Parker, former writer for Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The series will be
"loosely-based on Lozada's life, using the alter ego Eve Inez-Landon to fictionalize the true stories she has learned from years of dating professional athletes."
Evelyn Lozada wanted to allow readers to experience what it was like to be a wife of one of these athletes and learn every juicy details that this lifestyle entails. She hopes to turn these novels into a "full-fledged brand" down the road, eventually developing films based on the book series.
Cash Money Content is the book publishing branch of Cash Money Records, the label that signed artists such as Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The label was formed by two brothers, Bryan "Baby" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams.
Lozada is excited about working with the label.
"Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical."
Will you be one of the thousands reading up on the secret exciting lives of basketball wives?

Expect to hear the name Romeo Santos a lot more in the next two months. Aventura’s former frontman has just begun a massive push for his debut solo album Formula Vol. 1 and it's definitely got our attention. Artists like La Mala Rodriguez, Mario Domm, Lil Wayne and more have now confirmed appearances on the record.
The official drop date for Formula is November 8, although Romeo fans have already gotten a taste of singles like "You" and "Promise" (featuring Usher). To help promote the release, Santos' record company has created a colorful commercial they are now broadcasting across the web.
The Formula spot plays around with the album's name by highlighting chemistry concoctions built around the guest stars. What do you get when you add Anthony Santos, Romeo, and Tomatito? A very explosive mix!
Pitbull will also be appearing on Formula, but not on the standard version. Mr. 305's track will be on the "extended edition" sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. You can check out more info on the album (and see that colorful promo) when you visit Romeo's official site.

Russell Brand just introduced Tony Bennet to the stage to honor Amy Winehouse. The feeling at Nokia is really amazing right now. Bruno Mars hit the stage to bring the energy to another level with his performance of her songs! Incredible ! Amy, you are dearly missed! What an awesome tribute!
By the way I went to the restroom and as soon I came back Tyler the Creators' mom thanked me for bringing her water and holding her down during Tylers aceptance speech. Oh and Kevin Hart missed me because some drunk seat filler sat in my seat while I went to charge my phone.
Yes yes and yes! My girl Katy Perry takes home the Video of the Year award!!!!! Awwww Russell Brand looked extra emotional as he thanked him for his support and love!!! Sorry for all the "!!!" but this girl deserves it! Party!
Then Lil' Wayne hits the stage and the entire Nokia Theater smells like illegal substance!
No one stood up for the performance, it was horrible! lol

Is Lil Wayne the next Celine Dion? He's hoping! In an interview with MTV News, the New Orleans-bred emcee revealed that at age 40, he'd like nothing more than to headline a nightly Las Vegas show.
"I actually plan on being one of those artists that can go on a tour when they're like 40, like U2, Michael Jackson. With all the music and all the work I'm putting out, I believe that later on down the line, I can do Vegas. I can be the first hip-hop artist to do Vegas every night. That's the plan."
There's no question the 28-year-old rapper can amass a repertoire to carry a sin city show. With eight studio albums under his belt, Tha Carter IV on the way, and a bevy of mix tapes and lps with the Hot Boys and Birdman to boot, arguably Weezy could stop recording right now and hit the Vegas strip.
But given the longevity of a typical hip hop career, factoring out Jay-Z, will Wayne still be on fans most wanted list in five to ten years in order to pack a venue night after night?

In this week's installment of nobody cares news, Ja Rule officially turned himself in to a Manhattan court today to begin a 2 year sentence stemming from a 2007 gun arrest.
The emcee was found with a loaded semi-automatic unlicensed handgun hidden in the backseat of his Maybach after leaving a concert at NYC's Beacon Theater. Rule plead guilty to the charge of criminal possession of a weapon in December of last year.
The 35-year-old rapper signed autographs before entering the courtroom and told fans, "See you in 18," eluding to the amount of time in months he may actually spend behind bars with good behavior.
After he was cuffed and sentenced, Rule shouted, "See yall," to his wife and family seated in the back of the courtroom. The group replied, "Love you," to which Ja said, "I love yall too."
Rule will likely spend the next two weeks at New York's Rikers Island penitentiary, once home to Lil Wayne, before being transferred to another correctional facility upstate.
Coincidentally, Rule was a featured guest at the July 2007 concert Weezy headlined the night both were arrested on gun charges. Wayne served his 8 month sentence at Rikers Island last year.
Leave your well wishes for Rule in the comments, or @MTV3.

If you thought Coachella was a massive music event, just wait until June 9. That's when over 80,000 attendees are expected to descend upon Great Stage Park in Manchester TN for the 9th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
Featuring some of the hottest performers on the planet, this year's Bonnaroo is expected to break records and it's easy to see why. Artists like Eminem, Arcade Fire, and Lil Wayne are all lined up for three days' worth of live jams, art expos, movie screenings, and standup comedy. There will even be a gigantic ferris wheel on the premises to keep fans entertained.
First organized in 2002, Bonnaroo gained notoriety for its rejection of sponsors and traditional advertising. The festival has also become famous for its eco-friendly mantra, which includes "Rock the Earth" panels, recycled merchandise, and profit donations put toward environmental causes.
Obviously attending Bonnaroo gets you a lot of perks, but what continues to drive fans every year is the amazing array of music. 2011 marks the return of the festival's "superjam," which has showcased improvisational experiments from rockers across all genres. Past collaborations have included meshes of Cake and Metallica members and combos of Led Zeppelin and The Roots!
With groups like Mumford & Sons, Scissor Sisters, and My Morning Jacket on board, we can only imagine the musical mash ups that'll be getting the bootleg treatment this year.
And don't think that Bonnaroo 2011 won't have its share of Latino talent too. Cheech Marin will be hosting a 420 Comedy Blaze event featuring the standup world's hottest up-and-comers. And we know that Brazilian Strokes member Fabrizio Moretti will be tearing up the drum kit when his band takes over the headliner's tent.
For a complete list of the 100+ bands lined up for this year's Bonnaroo, check out their official website. But if you're looking get in, you may be out of luck. The event recently announced that it had already sold out all of its tickets!

Before Drizzy Drake signed to Young Money and became a platinum selling sensation, fans didn't have to wait long for new soundings from the Toronto emcee. In fact, when the Canadian rapper was giving away his music, free mixtapes came a plenty, or Drizzy at least released a track here and there to pacify his growing legion.
However, since the 2010 release of his debut album Thank Me Later and subsequent cancellation of his R&B mixtape It's Never Enough, Drake has kept us waiting for new music...till now.
Recently, the "Find Your Love" singer took to his blog to release what some are speculating is the first single off his highly anticipated sophomore effort Take Care. The track, "Dreams Money Can Buy," speaks to the rapper/ crooner's charmed life and is accompanied by a texted image that says, "This is a story of dreams mixed with reality."
Additionally, the blog post reads:
"A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though..."
Drizzy's bout with both real and dream world dualities contains bravado laced lyrics like "Can't tell ya how much I love when n---as think they got it. And I love the fact that line made them think about it." And contains verses typical of a young rapper a la the grinding dichotomy of having more money and women then a lifetime would provide the average man. Yawn.
However, what we didn't expect to hear from the 24-year-old rapper are the subversively charged lyrics aimed at the hip hop community.
"I feel like lately it went from top five to remaining five, my favorite rappers either lost it or they ain't alive. And they trying to bring us down, me Weezy and Stunna, we stayed up, Christmas lights in the middle of summer."
Shots fired! Overall, Drake delivers a strong track to solidify his rap resurgence. What do you think of Drizzy's latest effort?

Looks like we'll all have to wait a few more days for our Weezy F. Baby fix. Young Money president Mack Maine recently confirmed that Lil Wayne's highly anticipated ninth studio album Tha Carter IV will be pushed from its original release date of May 16, to June 21.
According to Mack Maine, the album has been held to allow Wayne to add finishing touches on the LP, as well as await versus from album contributors.
The Young Money prez told MTVNews.com:
"He's still perfecting a few things, he's a perfectionist ... changing a few lines. We also have a huge record that [isn't] done yet. We have a little studio time and it should be done probably by Monday."
It's no surprise Weezy needs a few extra days. In March, only three months after his November release from New York's Riker's Island penitentiary, the New Orleans emcee embarked on his I Am Music II tour, a 24-date trek across North America, which doesn't wrap until May 1st, and leaves very little time for studio sessions.
Mack did assure fans, the album's next single is indeed worth the wait, comparing it to the Tha Carter III's "Lollipop."
"It's more along the lines of a 'Lollipop. [it will be] just one of those [records] that will be liked by the masses."
We like the sound of that!
Are you clamoring for more Weezy?! Let us know in the comments, or @MTV3.

Could Jennifer Lopez be taking a cue from the new Facebook game Guerra Maya? It sure looks that way from the latest twitpic she sent her fans. Jenny from the block is at Mexico’s famed Chichen Itzá ruins for her new video shoot.
“Excited about my day tomorrow in Chichen Itza!!!” Lopez tweeted.
“First day of shooting the video for #imintoyou…I’ll send u pics tomorrow #LOVE?”
In case you’re wondering, the hashtags account for the new “I’m Into You” single with Lil Wayne and the fabled Love? album which has been talked about for years now. Originally slated to be released last summer, Love? is now set to drop on May 3 and for Lopez fans, it’s not a moment too soon.
As far as the Chichen Itzá themes go, that’s still a mystery. From the lyrics that have leaked so far, there are no choruses relating to ancient Mexican ruins. But we’re sure fans won’t care one bit once they see Lopez in that sexy snake-print sundress.
It’s obvious J. Lo’s putting a lot of “love” behind “I’m Into You.” Last month, she even launched a Facebook campaign to help stir interest and give fans the option of hearing it early. Produced by Stargate, it’s got a definite pop feel and Jennifer has announced she plans to perform it on American Idol May 5.
