Lights, camera, divorce! The world watched as Kim Kardashian lived out her fairy tale romance alongside NBA star Kris Humphries, but will we get to see them battle it out in divorce court? According to Mr. Humphries this is a definite possibility, apparently the 72 days he was married to Kim were not the most blissful ones.
Kris, along with his attorney, Lee Hutton, plan on televising the divorce to expose Kim as a liar who only wanted to get married to raise the ratings for her E! reality show.
Whether or not Kim's intentions were true, her ridiculously over-the-top fairy tale wedding racked up more than 10.5 million viewers, the highest in E's history. Kardashian-mania was rampant and as interests peaked, Kourtney and Kim took the opportunity to take New York as well as more ratings and endorsement deals. Millions all over the world have been tuning in to the sister's hit spin-off to find out what exactly went wrong in this seemingly perfect fairy tale.
Taking all of this into consideration, it's pretty to easy to see why Kris would think that Kim is taking advantage of the situation. Either that or he picked up a few tricks from his ex and figured that if millions tuned in for the wedding millions more would tune in for the divorce.
Yet, Kim Kardashian is not going down without a fight and she is formally petitioning for a private mediator with the help of her attorney Laura Wasser. This would mean that cameras would not be allowed inside of the court room and, if Kim has her way, any other future encounters between the pair.
A source tells RadarOnline.com,
"Kim doesn't want a long drawn out trial. She wants the mediation to be private, confidential and legally binding. She and Kris have no assets together and kept separate bank accounts, so this is a fairly routine divorce proceeding. Kim just wants this over and done with."
But this is definitely far from over. Kris is refusing to acknowledge "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for separation and is calling fraud on Kim thereby annulling the marriage altogether (¡qué novela!). We'll be sure to keep an eye out for the next chapter in this never ending divorce saga.

Kim Kardashian has been making her rounds around Miami looking for a new location for her clothing store Dash. The original Dash South Florida store location was in Miami Beach.
The Miami Beach Dash first appeared on the Kardashian reality show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami in 2009, when it was vandalized shortly after its grand opening. The first Dash store opened in 2006 in Calabasas, California and was featured in Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The girls also have another store in New York's SoHo district.
Kim was recently spotted shopping around for a new Miami location along with two of her friends. She also hinted on being Miami-bound in one of her tweets,
"Is Miami ready for us @larsapippen @lala @lorenridinger @JonathanCheban??? Gonna be fun!!!!"
She then tweeted,
"Just looked at some fab new spaces for Dash in Miami! Can't wait for the new Miami Dash store!"
Could this mean there is a new Kardahian reality show in the works? Perhaps next season Kim will be taking Miami all on her own.
Do you think Kim Kardashian is opening Dash for a new show in Miami?

The "People" have spoken and it seems they love Demi Lovato. The part-Mexican starlet proved to be the belle of the ball at last night's People's Choice Awards, taking home Best Pop Artist and delivering a powerhouse performance of "Give Your Heart A Break."
But Lovato wasn't the only one the crowds went nuts for. Robert Pattinson, Lea Michelle, and Emma Stone made a major mark as well.
In the movie department, the Choice was clearly Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The final Hogwarts installment nabbed Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie, and Favorite Ensemble Cast. Johnny Depp (who skipped the ceremony) made a big mark as well, earning Favorite Action Movie Star and Favorite Animated Movie Voice for Rango.
Other winners from the big screen included Ryan Reynolds for his work in Green Lantern and Hugh Jackman for Real Steel. The box office smash Bridesmaids earned the title of Favorite Comedy Movie and Morgan Freeman took home Favorite Movie Icon.
On the TV side of things, How I Met Your Mother got plenty love, first for Favorite Comedy and then for Favorite Actor (which went to Neil Patrick Harris).
Betty White was on hand to accept a Favorite Cable TV Comedy award for her show Hot In Cleveland and Jimmy Fallon earned the title of Favorite Late Night TV Host.
In the reality realm, American Idol beat out The Voice for Favorite TV Competition Show. And not surprisingly, Kim Kardashian earned the title of Favorite TV Celebreality Star (though some in the crowd weren't too happy about that).
In the world of music, Katy Perry scored four awards for Favorite Song ("E.T."), Favorite Video, Favorite Female Artist, and Favorite Tour Headliner. That would have been quite an accomplishment for the pop songstress…if she decided to show. But seeing how Katy’s going through a painful divorce, she chose to bail on the festivities.
Tr3s fave Bruno Mars earned the title of Favorite Male Artist. And though he didn't get up on the stage, he let his fans know that was eternally grateful for the honor.
"I'm currently walking down the street screaming "I am an ultimate male"!! Thank you at @peopleschoice and to those that voted! #hooligans" he tweeted.
And, as per usual, there was plenty of high fashion in effect last night too. Miley Cyrus wowed the crowd with a chique revealing white dress. Vanessa Hudgens chose the glam route, bedazzling herself in a gold and black ensemble. And hostess Kaley Cuoco strutted very elegantly across the red carpet in a shimmering cream-colored gown.

Maybe the Mayan end-of-the-world prediction got to people because this past new year's the parties were raging like never before! Several famous faces were spotted all over the country Saturday night, ringing in 2012 with plenty of style.
Over in Florida, Diddy hosted a huge party at his Miami estate. Known for throwing extravagant NYE bashes, the music mogul maintained his rep by launching a massive fireworks show and welcoming famous guests like Rihanna, Fat Joe, and Busta Rhymes. No official word on whether his rumored galpal, Cameron Diaz, was in attendance, but it certainly wouldn't surprise us if she was.
Interestingly, another Miami local made major headlines that night too. Heat superstar LeBron James rung in the new year as an engaged man! He popped the question to longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson during a romantic dinner at a South Beach restaurant.
Over on the east coast, Tr3s faves Pitbull and Diego Torres made the rounds at New York's historic Times Square.
Pit's energetic performance of "Give Me Everything" was seen by over 13 million viewers on ABC's New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Mr. 305 was also on hand to watch the famous ball drop for the Dick Clark countdown.
Elsewhere in the city, new couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling shared a romantic evening at the Bowery Hotel. Selena Gomez hit the East Coast too, partying with boyfriend Justin Bieber until 3 am! And for the record, "The Biebs" earned quite a bit of musical credibility that night for his impassioned "Let It Be" duet with Carlos Santana.
As expected, Las Vegas proved to be a big NYE hotspot too. Kim Kardashian earned a cool $60,000 for hosting an Eve party at Tao in the Venetian Hotel. Stevie Wonder also nabbed a nice chunk of change on Saturday, performing to a sold-out crowd at Sin City's Cosmopolitan Resort.
On the west coast, Katy Perry seemed to be all smiles at L.A.'s trendy Soho House. The newly single star was seen dancing and partying alongside some of her closest friends. Mario Lopez hosted a sizable bash at Hollywood's Kodak Theater which included guests like Cobra Starship and a DJ performance by Tom Cruise's son, Connor.
And as far as the celebrity tweets go, many stars took time to reflect on 2011 and the exciting things in store for next year.
"I wanna wish you all a happy and safe new year," Bruno Mars wrote. "I thought 2010 was great but thanks to you guys 2011 has been the greatest year of my life!"
"Happy New Year! Health - happiness and love to you all!" Jessica Alba posted.
And Sofia Vergara sent out one of her signature Twitpix along with the quote, "Feliz anoooo!"

It's been quite an eventful few days. This past weekend, there were Hanukkah candles, Christmas parties, and Kwanzaa celebrations in full force around the world. And in good old La La Land, plenty of our favorite celebs made sure to kick off the festivities too.
Justin Bieber pulled out all the stops and surprised a childhood friend in Canada with his gift: a Ford Mustang convertible.
Hanukkah (which started last week) proved to be quite a popular topic among Hollywood Tweeters.
Bieber also made a point to issue Hanukkah shout outs to several of his Jewish friends.
"Happy Hanukkah @dankanter @yaelkanter @allisonkaye @carinmb @scooterbraun," he wrote.
Private Practice’s Taye Diggs posted:
"Yo! Wishing all of my funky fresh Jewish folks Happy Chanukah!!! Light it up, y'all! (the menorah)".
And Ryan Seacrest confessed his love for Jewish food during the "Eight Crazy Nights."
"I'm not Jewish but the dinner menus tonight makes me wish I were! Happy Hanukkah to all u guys celebrating," he posted.
Christmas happened to fall on a Sunday, but the night before stirred up a ton of celebrity Twitpix. Alyssa Milano posted an adorable snap of her baby son Milo in a Santa Claus outfit. And, as expected, the Kardashian clan made their holiday presence known too. Kourtney’s son Mason posed alongside Uncle Rob and Kylie Jenner for a very cute instagram portrait.
"Wanna tweet a pic of @RobKardashian in his holiday pajama's!" big sister Kim Tweeted. "But he won't let me! Our fam pj's this year are so cute! We all look like Santa."
Snooki made sure her Twitter fans got some holiday love too. Posing alongside her boyfriend Jionni, the Jersey Shore star joyfully posted,
"My baby at the end of Christmas! We're still celebratin!"
Of course, if you were really eager to stargaze on Christmas, all you had to do was buy a ticket to the L.A. Laker home game opener. Over at SoCal's Staples Center, stars like Kanye West, Adam Levine, Wilmer Valderrama, and George Lopez showed their support for the yellow and gold. Not surprisingly, Vanessa "soon-to-be-ex-Mrs." Bryant made sure to skip that event.
Yesterday, the festivities just kept on coming with the annual celebration of Kwanzaa. The African holiday has gained quite a bit of traction among celebrities, with stars like Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, and Angelina Jolie honoring its importance in years' past.
This weekend, Tyra Banks made sure to give the holiday a shout out, lumping it in with all of the other big events of the season.
"Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa! However u celebrate, hope u’re having a #FIERCE holiday fam!" she Tweeted.
We’re definitely in support of that notion. And we’re certain this weekend's new year's parties will provide plenty more creative celebrity tweets.

It was once said that diamonds are a girl's best friend but according to Megan Fox, rubies are totally unacceptable. The sultry actress refused to accept the precious jewels after a passionate night with Sacha Baron Cohen, the actor/comedian behind films like Borat and Bruno.
Not only did she refuse the jewels but she insulted the Kardashian sisters while she was at it. Hopefully Kim, Kourtney and Khloe don't take it too seriously as it was all part of a raunchy sex scene in Sacha Baron Cohen's new upcoming film The Dictator. Cohen, who plays a Middle Eastern dictator in the film, is shown in bed with the actress right after they finish having sex.
He goes on to tell her,
"Megan, you were worth every penny. I trust everything is there that your manager requested?"
While Fox puts on her clothes and looks through a pouch filled with diamonds and rubies. The actress looks disgusted as she hold up one of the rubies and says,
"What's this? A ruby? Is that a joke? What am I, a Kardashian?" Ouch. Cohen replies, "No of course not, you're much less hairy."
These comments are of course G-rated compared to the usual comedic stunts Sacha Baron Cohen is known for (who could forget his nude fight scene with his assistant in Borat?) This film, which is already creating major internet buzz, is no exception, depicting the life of a dictator in a North African country (hmm sure sounds a lot like Gaddafi in Libya).
Making appearances in the film are President Obama and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, although I doubt they're aware of it yet. We'll just have to wait and see what other insane comedic tricks Mr. Cohen has up his sleeves, let's just hope he doesn't give Megan any rubies in the future.
Will you watch The Dictator?

As the year comes to a close, search engines across the web are tallying up their lists of 2011's most sought after celebs. Not surprisingly, names like Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian are popping up everywhere. But so is one of our favorite Latinas, Jennifer Lopez.
JLo was ranked #5 in Yahoo’s Top Searches of 2011. And seeing what a tumultuous year she had, it's easy to see why. There were the emotional moments on American Idol, the hot songs from her Love? album, and that very publicized split from Marc Anthony. Just the past week alone has seen a spike Lopez queries, thanks to her new boytoy Casper Smart.
Bing.com’s most sought out celeb is Justin Bieber. This is actually the second year in a row that he's made their Top 10 ("The Biebs" ranked 6th in 2010). His galpal Selena Gomez failed to crack the celeb list, though she did rank #6 on Bing’s Top 10 Music Searches.
Interestingly, Selena popped up at #8 on Ask.com’s 2011 Top Searches. There she was beat out by Lady Gaga and, you guessed it, Kim Kardashian. The #1 most requested answer on Ask was "Was Kim Kardashian’s wedding fake?" Not a bad question, in our humble opinion.
In case you're wondering about the #1 searched item of the year, the answer is…(drum roll please) the iPhone. Steve Jobs' death, the new SIRI assistant device, and the release of the 4S model shot the Apple tech toy to the top of Yahoo’s coveted list.
But keep in mind, there’s still a full month left until the end of the year. And in that time, plenty of other searches could make their way to the top. Perhaps a Christina Aguilera pregnancy could stir up chisme? Or maybe a new Zoe Saldana romance? We're still hopeful it'll be the giant hamster from El Spooky Show!

Ready for your Kardashian double shot this morning? Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again with Scott Disick's child, and Kris Humphries files for separation instead of divorce.
The Kardashians have continued expanding their empire, one baby at a time. It was only a matter of time before Kourtney Kardashian announced she was pregnant again.
"I'm nine weeks along...You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident."
Looks like we will soon be seeing another little Kardashian pop its tiny face out in front of the cameras as we welcome it to Hollywood and to the world of reality television.
In other Kardashian news, Kris Humphries tries to contest Kim Kardashian's divorce petition with a separation instead. Instead of filing for divorce like Kim has, Humphries intends "to annul the marriage, clearing the record of ever being married."
There's still at least someone who is not keeping up with the Kardashians. In a far off land, James Bond disapproves. He would rather stay a private man, and shares no love for the media circus.
"Once you go Kardashian, you never go back."
Daniel Craig does not deny his distaste for reality shows, particularly those of the Kardashian enterprise. I can only imagine how much he's reeling from Kourtney's latest announcement, considering how he feels about he whole boundaries thing.
"We've been in your living room, we were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta."
Craig shakes his head at how the Kardashians' "private" lives have become a spectacle for all to see. He values his privacy. Despite the fame he has acquired as an actor, things like weddings are sacred to him. He reportedly got married in a "super secret" ceremony because he feels once you give up your privacy, you can't buy it back.
If you were a celebrity, would you want your private lives filmed for the world to see?

Sure we like to poke fun at all of the chisme stories celebrities get entangled in, but when it comes down to it, most of Hollywood has a very big heart. And this weekend brought out a ton of stars helping needy families at Thanksgiving soup kitchens.

Kim Kardashian made a very public appearance at the Los Angeles Mission on Thursday, dishing out turkey and biscuits to hungry So Cal residents. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana also lent a helping hand, much to delight of their hungry fans.
Elsewhere in the country, famous names like Chris Bosh, Mike Epps, and Lil Wayne made charitable appearances and even handed out whole turkeys. Judging from the pictures that were posted online, it's clear their good tidings were a huge success and helped set a good example to everyone watching giant floats on their TVs.
Positive vibes made their way to the Twitterverse too, with tons of celebrity well-wishers sending out grateful posts for their holiday dinners. Harold & Kumar’s Neil Patrick Harris told his followers what he was most thankful for.
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone. There are so many things to be thankful for this year, I’m very blessed. Hope you had a stress free day," he posted.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi threw in a heart symbol for her holiday tweet.
"Happy Thanksgiving tweedos!!! Enjoy your time with your fam ♥," she wrote.
And several Tr3s faves made sure their fans shared in the turkey day love too.
"Happy Thanksgiving!.. Let's be thankful for what we DO have.. For just breathing fresh air is a blessing. My love to you all!" came from Wilmer Valderrama's account.
Eva Longoria wrote,
"Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Have a beautiful day with your families and give Thanks to God and anyone who contributes to your life!"
And what holiday is complete without a Sofia Vergara tweet? She even added a little Spanglish into her festive post.
"Feliz thanksgiving everybody!" she tweeted.
Of course, not all celebs made their messages about turkeys. This year, several famous bloggers encouraged their fans to skip Thanksgiving's traditional birds and stick with a vegetarian-based dinner.
"Did you know that every year between 250 and 300 million turkeys are bred for slaughter in The United States?" Ellen DeGeneres wrote. "More than 46 million for Thanksgiving alone. So, this Thanksgiving, instead of eating a turkey, please join me in adopting one from Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt A Turkey Project and you can give a turkey something to be thankful for."
Actress Alicia Silverstone backed up her famous friend, writing,
"It's so simple to create a delicious holiday meal without animal cruelty. I promise no one will miss the turkey! Enjoy!"
Don't worry, we're not judging any turkey eaters. But we definitely respect everyone's opinion and all of the stars who were willing to add a little charity into their four-day weekend.

Are you starting to get fed up with the exploits of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris and the rest of the Kardashian clan? You're not alone. In fact, thousands of people across the country are now signing a petition to boot reality TV's #1 family off their television screens.
Kim obviously had her haters before, but what seems to have triggered this latest backlash was her recent marriage debacle with Kris Humphries. Many TV viewers cried foul after their quickie divorce, claiming the entire marriage was a sham to strum up ratings.
So, a petition was formed asking the E! network to remove any and all Kardashians from their primetime schedule. Organizer Cyndy Snider spoke very vocally about the movement, claiming the entire family is putting out a bad message.
"While some may have begun watching the spectacle as mindless entertainment or as a sort of 'reality satire,' it is a sad truth that many young people are looking up to this family and are modeling their appearance and behavior after them," Snider said. "I'll remind you here that the Kardashian family fame largely started with a 'leaked' sex tape."
And don't think the anger is directed just at E! Kardashian haters are also boycotting the family’s products and urging filmmaker Tyler Perry to drop Kim from his latest movie.
