Sure today may "technically" be Halloween, but this past weekend was when all the true partiers dressed up and celebrated. And that includes the Hollywood circuit too. Saturday night, tons of celebs hit the Twitterverse to show off their costumes and post shout outs from their favorite fiestas.

Sofía Vergara may have taken a few pointers from our costume blog. This past weekend, the Modern Family star posted a very cute picture of herself dressed up like an Angry Bird. Tweeting the message, "Ready for Halloween!," she gave a friendly wave from her home bathroom.

Zachary Quinto wasn't shy about sharing his costume with the world either. The recently outed actor decided to dress himself up as "fireworks" this year. But rather than spend a ton at the local Halloween shop, he improvised and went the budget route.

Lindsay Lohan was all smiles this weekend too. Just Jared posted some very sexy pictures of the future Playboy centerfold at a Saturday night costume party. And, for the record, she did not go as a jailbird this year, but rather a scantily dressed French maid.

And though J. Lo wasn't sharing her costume secrets, her image was still all over the Twitterverse. Sporting a velvet pink jumpsuit and oversized sunglasses, Nicole Richie posed as Jennifer this year alongside her hubby Joel Madden (who went as writer Hunter S. Thompson).

"Don't be fooled by the rocks dat we got! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Love JLo & Hunter S. Thomson," Richie tweeted.

Over in the posh Pacific Palisades section of Los Angeles, Kate Hudson hosted some very famous costumed faces at her annual Halloween bash. Stars like Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones, and David Arquette dropped by, but it was Gwen Stefani's Cinderella ensemble that attracted the most attention.

And the winner for the craziest celebrity costume of 2011 was undoubtedly Heidi Klum. This year she hosted a huge party at The Venetian in Las Vegas and came dressed as a skinless model! Yup, her muscles, limbs, and organs were all on display, making for a freaky red carpet experience.

There’s no surprise that love fizzles as fast on the field as it does on the red carpet! According to reports, Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz have started a romance of World Series proportions - the only problem? The ball player’s ex-novia, Kate Hudson (also known as the Yankees lucky charm) isn’t pleased with the romantic headlines.

The “Nine” star and the third baseman ended their relationship back in December, but sources claim that she is still bitter about blond rival Cameron taking her place.

We can believe that Hudson might still be hung up on Rodriguez’s Casanova ways, but this next piece of chisme sounds a little too telenovela-inspired to us. Sources claim that Hudson believes Diaz is only dating Rodriguez to get back at her for dating Justin Timberlake shortly after their split.

A ‘friend’ of Cameron’s recently told “The Daily News” that "Cameron was actually in a serious long-term relationship with Justin. She thinks it's a joke Kate would be mad. Kate is only upset because she hates being single."

Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez made Miami even hotter this weekend when they made their new couple debut during the Super Bowl festivities.

A source who spotted the duo at the CAA party Saturday night had this to say about la pareja:

“They were having a great time. [Cameron] was grinding on A-Rod. A-Rod and Cameron have totally been hooking up."

According to the partygoer, a tipsy Cameron was being very, “fun and flirty,” with the Yankee player sitting on the couch beside her as she, “was dancing by herself and then turning into [Alex] some.” (OK)

First Madonna, then Kate Hudson, now Cameron? Well, at least we know he has a thing for blondes...brunettes need not apply. But seriously, how long do you think this will last? Let us know in the comments section!

Trouble in Paradise? Seems like it! Alex Rodriguez has finally split from actress girlfriend Kate Hudson.

The Yankee slugger called it quits about a week ago after la pareja came back from a trip to Europe, a source said. The main reason for their split?  Parece que Kate's a bonafide party girl! Apparently she fought with A-Rod during the World Series because she wanted to go out and party, and he did not.

The source went on to describe their relationship as "tumultuous," noting it was full of ups and downs. The split will no doubt be difficult for their children. Alex’s daughters really liked Kate, and Kate’s son Ryder was — according to Access Hollywood — already calling A-Rod "Daddy."

A-Rod has now moved back to the Florida home he previously shared with his ex-wife, Cynthia, the source confirmed.

Any takers? He's hot, but...really? He's no Tiger Woods, but he doesn't have the best track record either!  (AccessHollywood)
