Sure there is a lot of glitz and glam attached to being famous, but there are also quite a few hidden dangers that the public isn't made privy to. The Sun reported that two men were recently arrested for masterminding a plot to murder and rob singer Joss Stone.
Known for her bluesy voice and unique sense of style, Joss is probably one of the last celebs you'd expect to have psychotic enemies. She has never been outspoken with her political views, does tons of charity work, and even got on the guest list of the royal wedding.
But nevertheless, two British men hatched a plot to torture and kill the 24-year-old star. The culprits were taken into police custody near Stone's U.K. home and allegedly had swords, rope, and a body bag in their possession.
Since the arrest Joss released a statement, assuring fans that she was fine and thanking them for their support.
“I'd like to thank everyone for their concern," she said. "But I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries."

Call it the event of the decade. All over the world, cameras were filming the nuptials of Britain’s Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton. As expected, the 2,000+ guest list included dignitaries from across Europe (including Spain’s royal family), but quite a few celebs got invites as well.
David Beckham and his wife Victoria looked “posh” in their designer duds. David sported a tight-fitting black suit and top hat, while Mrs. Becks donned an elegant dark dress. Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish also attended the ceremony, singing hymns as the bride walked down the aisle.
British comedy fans probably got a kick out of seeing Mr. Bean in the audience. Interestingly Rowan Atkinson, who plays the clumsy character, is a good friend of William’s dad Prince Charles. Also partaking in the festivities was film director Guy Ritchie, Madonna's ex.
Perhaps one of the most unusual attendees was soul singer Joss Stone. Not your typical British blue-blood, the “You Had Me” crooner reportedly became quite close to Prince William after singing at a benefit for his late mother, Diana.
And how about the entertainment for the royal reception? Pop Crush is reporting that UK indie star Ellie Goulding took to the mic for some lovely post-wedding jams.

Ricky Martin mania continues! He has his memoir “Me” coming out (no pun intended) November 2, he joined the “Give a Damn” campaign, he's set to appear on Oprah's November 2 broadcast and now, Martin is giving a preview of the first single off his eagerly-awaited new album!

The song will be simultaneously released in English and Spanish. “The Best Thing About Me Is You” features the sultry voice of Joss Stone and “Lo Mejor de Mi Vida Eres Tu” is a duet with La Quinta Estacion's Natalie Jimenez. Ricky tweeted a link to a 30 second preview of the song in both versions.
“Mi nuevo sencillo en español "Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tu" un dueto con la increible @NataliaJimenezS”
“My new single in english "The Best Thing About Me Is You" a duet with the incredible @JossStone “
“Aqui 30 segundos del sencillo en español e ingles http://www.rickymartinmusic.com/Blog/Index/3 “
We listened to both songs and although wanted to love them both, we enjoyed “Lo Mejor” but (Martin fans across the nation are going to hate us for saying this) “The Best Thing” with Joss Stone came across as cheesy as the song's title. Ricky and Jimenez seemed to work, their voices and flow really compliment each other whereas the Martin-Stone combination sounds forced – not to mention the fact that Joss' voice clearly overpowers Ricky's on the track. We also feel the need to point out that the few lyrics they sing in Spanish simply add to the caseoso factor. “The Best Thing” would definitely have been a candidate for a song to play during the closing credits for “Dawson's Creek”. Ok, that was a bit harsh, but it is what it is. “Lo Mejor” on the other hand, makes you tap your feet and nod your head.
We haven't quite figured out why there's such a disparity about our opinions of the two versions, especially since it's the same song, but that's the advantage of releasing both, if you don't like one, listen to the other. Ricky Martin is a genius!
