Alba Talks Love, Pregnancy, And Familia For Cosmo

Just in case you skeptics out there needed an extra reason to hate on Jessica Alba's buena fortuna, the new mami is dishing on the burdens of pregnancy and her love for baby daddy Cash Warren in the August issue of British Cosmopolitan magazine.
Love her or hate her, Jessica Alba is a pro at getting atención. Despite being dissed by a handful of movie critics for her whack questionable performance as Mike Myers’ female interest in The Love Guru, the new mami is now getting chased by Robert Rodriguez.
Jessica Alba is pregnant no more. The 27 year-old newlywed welcomed Honor Marie Warren into the world Saturday, June 7, according to Jalba rep Brad Cafarelli.
Sure, we might have disowned the Dark Angel long ago when she said she didn't consider herself Mexican, but with a name like that, there's no denying that Jess' nena is a true Latina (way to follow the name-your-child-something-out-of-the-Holy-Book and then turn it into English trend).
Alba’s latest film, The Love Guru, opens nationwide June 20th.

Yes, today is Cinco de Mayo and so begins that time of year where college gringos around the country party at their local Mexican-American restaurant like Chilis, Taco Bell or On The Border to get that “real” taste of Mexico. Oh and don’t forget those lovely sombreros they like to put on as “costumes.” Along with the holiday, so too comes Maxim magazine’s list of hottest Mexican women where male voters picked Jessica Alba as their leading lady. Most noteworthy runners-up are Salma Hayek, telenovela star Ninel Conde, Eva Longoria and RBD’s Anahí. So what’s the story, did the fellas over at Maxim get it right? The first baby shower for Jessica Alba was just a warm-up for the real baby shower that recently took place with Alba’s familia in her hometown of Pomona, California. This time, guests were asked to bring their favorite childhood book so Jessica can start a library for her unborn nena. Celebs Wear Bracelets To Honor Jessica's Baby

During Jessica Alba's baby shower last week, guests were given leather bracelets and requested to say a prayer in respects to Alba's unborn chiquita, Honor. After the baby prayers, though, the guests, which included Kim Kardashian and Rashida Jones, were instructed not to take off the bracelets until the baby is born! Well, we hope those bracelets match well with the high priced clothes these celebs wear on a daily basis. [Guanabee]
