Tragedy struck the star-studded set of Expendables 2 when Silverster Stallone's stuntman working on the film was killed in Bulgaria this week.

According to producers, the stuntman was killed during an accident involving a n inflatable rubber boat and an explosion late Thursday night. Two stuntmen were involved in the scene; the second suffered serious injuries and is fighting for his life in the hospital in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and he is now said to be in stable condition.

The production companies involved, Nu Image and Millennium Films, released a statement saying:

"It is with great regret that we confirm this unfortunate accident. Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy. The filmmakers are working closely with the authorities in responding to and investigating this accident."

The accident occurred while the second unit filmed at the Ognyanovo Dam in Bulgaria, 15 miles just outside the capital, Sofia.

Expendables 2 is the sequel to the 2010 action film written and directed by Stallone. The film is scheduled to hit theaters next August and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Jet Li,  Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

It started with a gourmet haute-cusine dinner at Thomas Keller's NYC restaurant, Per Se (check it out) back in mid-September. A newly single Jennifer Lopez, age 42, met up with Bradley Cooper, 37, for a 'business meeting' at the Time Warner Center eatery, where they reportedly discussed a potential project.

That meeting must have gone pretty well, in the eyes of the duo's publicists, at least, because Jenny and Bradley are at it again! That's right, TMZ reports that the pair were spotted tooling around Hollywood in an S.U.V., and sources close to the diva confirmed that the two spent time together over the weekend. It seems that their 'business dinner' evolved into an ongoing conversation that has lead to a more-than-friends-ship. People.com quotes a source as saying,

"She does like his attention, and it makes her feel good that he seems so into her. She has a fun time with Bradley and he makes her laugh. Adds another source: "She likes him."

TMZ has some pictures of the pair, with Bradley behind the wheel. It certainly looks like Jennifer Lopez in the passenger seat, covering her face with her hands. Cooper looks undeniably pleased, although it's impossible to judge whether its due to the hordes of paparazzi or because of the shy beauty at his side.

So is a long-term romance in the cards for these two? Bradley Cooper has had a number of celebrity relationships, including a year-long marriage to Jennifer Esposito and a relationship with Case 39 costar Renee Zellwegger that ended back in March.

J Lo has had a much bumpier road where romance is concerned. We've chronicled the increasingly desperate shenanigans perpetrated by her ne'er-do-well first husband, Ojani Noa. She also made news as part of the ill-starred original Bennifer with Ben Affleck, who went on to marry Jennifer Garner.

Shortly after Bennifer crashed and burned, Jenny wed backup dancer Cris Judd, only to divorce him and tie the knot with Puerto Rican pop mega-star Marc Anthony. Those two divorced, more or less amicably, in July of this year. Did I forget any in there? I'm sure I did. Oy.

Anyway, that brings us to the current state of, er, affairs. Speaking of which... while the maybe-relationship with Bradley is definitely something to keep an eye on, rumors have also been circulating about J. Lo's "Parker" costar, the dazzlingly studly, markedly un-Coop-like (and also un-Affleck- and Anthony-like) Jason Statham.

Although Statham's got a steady squeeze in Transformers 3 star and Victoria's Secret model, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, word has it that Statham and Lopez are getting very chummy on set. (If she has to choose between the two, my money's on Statham. He fine.) Meanwhile, in her first post-divorce interview, J Lo seemed sad, but undaunted by her failed love affairs:

"I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love,” Lopez says. “It’s still my biggest dream."

Keep dreaming, Jenny!

So what do you think about the potential relationship between Jenny and Bradley? And what about a romance with Jason Statham? Should she just take a break, or is a post-divorce romance a fine cure for the blues? Tell us what you think in the comments!

It's Friday again, which means it's time for another installment of Pelis and Popcorn. We know, the past few movies were a bit more female-centric, but this weekend we're airing a flick just for the fellas. Get ready for Snatch! You remember this one, right? Brad Pitt, the Transporter guy, and some shrewd directing by Madonna's ex-hubby!

Released way back in 2000, Snatch is a true cult classic…that actually became a bona fide hit! The writer/director, Guy Ritchie, was fresh off his indie smash Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and now had the budget (and the big studio backing) to hire his "dream cast."

So who did he pick to headline this in-your-face crime caper? None other than Brad Pitt (who was riding high with his Fight Club success). But rather than take advantage of Brad’s pretty-boy good looks, Ritchie gave him an unrecognizable Irish accent and made him a crooked grungy boxer.

Benicio del Toro fans got a lot of great quotes out of Snatch too, with his memorable role as Frankie "Four Fingers." Throw in rough and tumble Jason Statham, the always funny Dennis Farina, and foul-mouthed scene stealer Alan Ford as Brick Top and you've got yourself one entertaining movie!

But outside of the colorful characters, what makes Snatch stand out is its highly original plot. Focusing on a missing diamond and the seedy underbelly of London, this movie's got gangster elements, kickass boxing scenes, intricate heist sequences (pre-Ocean’s 11), and a cinematic style that's undeniably Ritchie.

We all know that Guy has gone on to more high-profile projects. One being marrying (and later divorcing) Madonna and the other being those Sherlock Holmes movies. But if you want to see his unique film-making talents in their prime, don't miss Snatch. It's "guys" entertainment at its bloody finest, mate!

Catch Snatch this Saturday at 11pm on Tr3s!

MTV News recently caught up with model and actress Natalie Martinez on the set of Lala’s latest music video. Natalie, who will be co-hosting an upcoming style special titled MTV Tr3s Fashionista, couldn’t stop talking about the new movie she’s working on.

It’s called Death Race with Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson and we have Joan Allen and Ian McShane. It’s really exciting. It’s this whole action film that’s around prison and race for our freedom.

But don’t take any little brothers, sisters or primitos to this one:

There’s a lot of violence. It’s very Mad Max, it’s very raw. So it’s a lot of fun.

Well, it’s a good thing Natalie enjoyed herself on a set like that; usually action flicks can be pretty tough training-wise. About her labor-intensive gig, Natalie says:

It was definitely physical... I love getting rough and doing stunts. So that was a lot of fun for me. Arriba las Latinas Fuertes!!!

And we aren’t kidding; Natalie plays a pretty strong character in the film:

In the movie I play Case. She is in jail for killing her husband and she happened to be a police officer.

Wow, a husband-killing cop in jail? Cuidado!!

I’m hooked up with Jason Statham to be his driver and we race in prison. Yeah, I play his navigator. I’m definitely his sidekick.

Sounds to me like there may be a little bit of romance going on there! You can catch all the action in Death Race which hits theatres August 22nd. [MTV News]
