Word on la calle is that Diddy and his entourage had a run in with the law over the weekend.

The drama was sparked by a routine check-up after cops realized that the rental car the mogul was driving was missing proper license tags. A Los Angeles deputy ending up pulling-out his firearm on Combs after 'fearing for his safety.' One of the members of his crew was detained for being uncooperative, while Diddy drove away without being issued a ticket.

Besides preparing to conquer a triathlon and holding-down family matters, Jennifer Lopez is stepping back into the limelight in the romantic comedy "The Governess." The movie, which is slated to premiere in December 2009, features the Boricua as a gangster thief after a rich widower's dinero.

In order to run the heist, the diva has to pose as an undercover nanny and take care of his three bratty kids, but eventually she gets caught-up in her own trampa and falls in love. Predictable?
