Here's an interesting bit of gossip. Not only is Halle Berry engaged to Olivier Martinez, she's been his fiancée for the past six months! Star Magazine confirmed the news this week and claims both stars are "eager to say 'I Do.'"
Since they first hooked up over a year ago, Halle and Olivier have been inseparable. According to sources, she refers to him as "her rock" and is eager to take their relationship to the next level.
And despite the fact that Berry is 45, several sites are reporting that she is eager to have Martinez' baby.
"Halle would love to have more kids," an insider recently revealed. "But she knows it might be difficult because of her age and the fact that she's diabetic. If they can't conceive, they'd definitely consider adoption.”
We're actually very hopeful that Halle and Olivier will be able to conceive. With her stunning good looks and his Spanish blood, they would make one very attractive Latino offspring!

Rumor has it that Halle Berry could be walking down the aisle for the third time. The New Year’s Eve star was recently spotted wearing a giant emerald ring on her finger. Could it be an engagement present from her current steady Olivier Martinez? The gossip blogs are saying yes!
Halle and Olivier have been dating for over a year and, according to sources, consider themselves to be "romantic soul mates." They've also been inseparable the past few months, leading many to speculate that they’re ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Interestingly, back in 2009 Berry swore she would never marry again. But Martinez may be the one to change her mind. The half-Spanish hunk is one of Europe's most eligible bachelors and seems to be a great father figure to Halle's three-year-old daughter Nahla.
So far, no official engagement announcement has been made. But judging by the size of that rock Berry's wearing, we think it'll only be a matter of time before she says "I Do."

If you think about it, a film title like New Year’s Eve has tons of potential. It could be a wild party flick, a timeless romance, or a coming of age drama. And to its credit, this week's New Year’s Eve movie attempts to tackle all of that. But with so many characters and so many plotlines, things wind up feeling a little jumbled and uninspired.
Similar to last year's Valentine’s Day (which was helmed by the same production team), NYE attempts to shove over a dozen stories down your throat, all linked to the same popular holiday. It also throws a bit of mystery into the mix; connecting characters via plot twists and chance encounters.
The problem is, the formula is starting to feel a little stale. Though it's fun to watch certain famous faces interact (Sofia Vergara and Jon Bon Jovi make an interesting pair), the chemistry doesn't always click and the "surprises" begin to feel way too predictable.
Leading the pack of performers for this celeb fest are Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ludacris, Katherine Heigl, and Zac Efron (just to name a few). New Year’s Eve also does an admirable job of squeezing in even more famous faces in cameo roles, like Matthew Broderick, Ryan Seacrest, and Wizards of Waverly Place’s Jake T. Austin.
It's all quite a lot to digest, but the purpose is to show varying perspectives on New York's biggest night. To the film’s credit, it covers all of the bases of what encompasses New Year's Eve. There's the famous ball drop, a Glee-inspired rendition of "Auld Sang Lyne," and thousands of drunken rebel rousers in Times Square.
But if you're looking for substance, this is probably not the movie for you. The romance scenes seem forced, the jokes are far from memorable, and several stars seem to be "phoning in" their performances. But, at 77-years-old, we do have to give some credit to director Garry Marshall. He clearly created a fun environment for his actors and we have a strong feeling he'll be giving us at least one more holiday movie before he calls it a career.
Bottom line: One cheesy rom com is bad enough, but imagine 12 of them rolled into one?! That's kind of what you can expect with New Year’s Eve. Rather than trying too hard, this movie seems like it's not trying enough. The performances are flat, the story lines feel tired, and final payoff fails to deliver. Let's hope the cast behind this flick adds "make better movies" to their new year's resolutions.

Those near the island of Mallorca in Spain next week will have the opportunity to appear as an extra in an upcoming film. Cloud Atlas is a film by Tom Twyker, known for directing Run Lola, Run, and the Wachowski brothers, who brought you the Matrix trilogy. Pair these amazing directors with actors like Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving, and Susan Sarandon, and you know you're in for a wild ride.
Cloud Atlas explores six story lines that span throughout different time periods, but uses the same actors playing different characters during each time. The film is based on the award-winning novel of the same name written by David Mitchell. The directors will be splitting up the shooting of the film, with Twyker taking on futuristic material in the story and the Wachowski brothers addressing the period pieces of the film.
The Mallorcan Film Commission has confirmed that auditions for extras will begin next week. Filming for Cloud Atlas will begin this September, so the cast and crew will be scouting Mallorca for extras they can use in the film. Filming will take place in various locations throughout the area, and over 200 extras will be selected at this time.
Mallorca has recently gained popularity from recent TV productions that have become British hits, and those involved hope this project will continue to increase the island's appeal. The Film Commission has had great success in boosting the island's popularity, and this latest production will no doubt add to its success.
So if you're feeling lucky and want to take a wager at possibly shouting "Look ma! That's me!" when the film comes out next year, drop what you're doing, book your tickets to Mallorca and start packing those carry-on bags.
Information about the Cloud Atlas casting can be found at the Mallorcan Film Commission's website.
Do you think you'll ever have a chance to appear in a Wachowski brothers or Tom Twyker film?

We definitely didn't see this one coming! It seems Kim Kardashian has been dating Halle Berry's ex and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry!
Image : Getty Images
The reality star and model attended the Los Angeles Lakers game Sunday night and were seen laughing and chatting next to one another in courtside seats.
Though this is the first time the new couple has been spotted publicly, it doesn't appear to be the first time they've hung out.
An insider told Life & Style:
"Kim and Gabriel met a few times while they were both in New York, and there was definitely chemistry. But when Kim returned to Los Angeles last Thursday, they really took it to the next level. They went out to dinner, caught the Lakers game and spent time at Kim's house."
Kardashian, 30, has even already introduced the 34-year-old model to members of her family, who are "all wild about him," Life & Style reported.
While Kardashian has been linked to practically every football star in sight, Aubry has kept a low profile since his split with Berry in April. The couple, who dated for four years, has a 2-year-old daughter, Nahla.
But despite Berry's new romance with her "Dark Tides" co-star, Olivier Martinez, the actress has said that she remains close with Aubry.
Berry told Vogue:
"You realize you are not meant to go the distance with everybody. We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world. And I think that's why we came together. And because of that, we are going to be together forever, all three of us."
Hopefully there's room to fit Kimmy in the mix!

The paparazzi are having a field day right now. It seems that newly single Halle Berry has been seen all over Paris getting cozy with her costar, Olivier Martinez. Half-Spanish and half-French, Olivier is one of Europe’s hottest bachelors. Is it possible he could now be off the market?
Image: Getty Images
Well if you’re going to settle down for anybody, Halle Berry is quite the catch! Separated from model Gabriel Aubrey (who happens to be the father of her 2-year-old daughter Nahla), the press have been very curious to see who she would be hooking up with next.
Leave it to the casting agents to help figure that one out. Halle and Olivier were filming all kinds of close-knit scenes together for their new thriller, Dark Tide. Shot throughout his hometown, Martinez seemed very happy taking on the role of Berry’s “personal” tour guide after the cameras stopped.

The real interesting thing to see will be when scenes from the film start popping up. As we all know, some of the most famous romances began on movie sets and it’s always fun to see the chemistry they lead to onscreen. Keep checking the calendars, “Dark Tide” is set to hit theatres in mid-2011.

Don't let su belleza fool you, Zoe Saldana can kick butt too! The star of upcoming 3-D película 'Avatar' says she's inspired by actresses like Angelina Jolie and Jessica Biel, who truly embrace the action scenes in their movies.
"I have the itch lately. I don't know if it is after 'Avatar' or 'Star Trek' or because I've just finished an action film called 'The Losers', in which I did almost all my own stunts. I think it's so empowering and sexy. I love actresses like Angelina and Jessica. They're very agile, they incorporate their bodies with their characters and they pick women who are very strong. I really dig that."
In a recent interview with Esquire magazine, Zoe made sure to credit Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, and Jolie for opening the door to the action genre for mujeres.
"Before them, women were just sex pots or mothers. They were never the heroes who saved the day. They've enabled a generation of actresses to have a bigger variety of roles. If I wanted to be part of a story that is amazing and had a lot of sexual openness, that's fine. But I am so grateful to know that, like them, I can open different doors for women."
We certainly look forward to seeing Zoe Saldana show off some of her moves! [NewsBlaze]

El “Rey de los Reyes" is gettin more love from Hollywood since being cast in The Fast and the Furious 4.
The Don is getting a slew of new offers including one alongside Queen M.I.L.F. Halle Berry. The project isn’t titled yet, but the newlywed already had this to say about the Academy Award winning actriz:
“[Es] preciosa y creo que es una súper actriz. La respeto mucho, mucho, mucho,”
Wonder what his esposa is going to say about that!
While we don't think every Reggaetonero needs to be showcased on the silver screen, hopefully it will keep him out of the court room.
