Could Angelina Jolie be appearing in The Skin I Live In 2? It's very much possible seeing the way she reacted to Pedro Almodovar this weekend. The A-list actress told several Golden Globes reporters that she'd love to work with the Spanish director.

Both Jolie and Almodovar were on hand to participate at Saturday's Golden Globes foreign-language seminar. Pedro was promoting Skin, while Angie spoke about her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood And Honey.

During the seminar Jolie fired off a joke at Almodovar, claiming she was "angry" he hadn’t hired her for any of his movies. Quick to respond, Pedro assured Angelina that they would be working together soon.

"Oh my God," he exclaimed. "No, no don't worry, you are joining [my next project] now. Absolutely!"

That sounds like a very interesting collaboration to us. Perhaps if all goes well, she can push Pedro to give her baby daddy a role in his next movie too.

There were no major sweeps at this past Sunday's Golden Globes. Nearly every big win came from a different movie or television show. But in a way, that made for a much more interesting (and hard to predict) broadcast, which still had plenty of memorable moments thanks to unpredictable host Ricky Gervais.

Sadly, all of the Tr3s faves did not win in their respective categories. Sofia Vergara lost her Best Supporting TV Actress statue to American Horror Story’s Jessica Lange. But the Modern Family star still made a very big splash, strutting down the red carpet in over $5 million worth of jewels!

We also had high hopes for The Artist’s Bérénice Bejo. The Argentine star was highly favored to take home the night's Best Supporting Film Actress statue for her performance as silent screen goddess Peppy Miller. But she too lost out, this time to The Help’s Octavia Spencer.

The Artist film, however, did prove to be a major success and is expected to earn some big time Oscar love when the Academy Award nominations are announced. Bejo's movie nabbed Best Motion Picture Musical and Best Lead Actor for Jean Dujardin.

Best Motion Picture Drama went to The Descendants, which also scored George Clooney a Best Dramatic Actor Globe. Meryl Streep won Best Dramatic Actress for The Iron Lady and My Week With Marilyn's Michelle Williams took it down for the Best Lead Actress Musical or Comedy.

The night's Best Director statue went to Martin Scorsese for Hugo and The Adventures of Tintin won Best Animated Feature Film (beating out another Tr3s fave, Puss In Boots).

On the TV side of things, Modern Family was honored as Best Comedy Series and Showtime's Homeland won Best Drama. Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage earned huge applause for his Best Supporting Actor win and gave a heartfelt speech about a fellow dwarf actor.

Now as far as Ricky was concerned, his opening monologue was still as ruthless as ever. The British comic skewered celebs like Madonna, Johnny Depp, and Jodie Foster with his trademark wit and kept the show fun and lively. He even took a mean spirited crack at Justin Bieber's recent baby daddy drama.

"The only way [Justin] could impregnate a girl," Gervais joked, "is if he borrowed one of Martha Stewart's turkey basters."

As expected, fashion was in full bloom at the event too. Charlize Theron seemed to grab the most attention for her daring yet classy Dior gown. Claire Danes won over the style critics with her black-and-white J. Mendel ensemble. And keeping her alt chick character fully intact, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’s Rooney Mara dressed up extra racy in a dark Nina Ricci gown.

Stealing thunder away from all of those SAG honorees, this morning the Golden Globes released their 2011 nomination list (which included quite a few surprises). The Artist led the pack with a total of six nods, followed by The Descendants and The Help, which each scored five.

Interestingly, it was the morning's presenters who seemed to garner the most attention, particularly Sofia Vergara and Woody Harrelson. Glammed up at the crack of dawn, Sofia, Woody, Gerard Butler, and Rashida Jones listed off the names.

Harrelson definitely kept the mood light, joking around with Butler and shamelessly plugging his new movie, Rampart. Vergara made some headlines too, particularly when she flubbed the name of Martin Scorsese. But she was clearly having fun and even made some silly faces for the camera.

As far as the nominees go, 2011 will definitely make for an interesting mix. We were a little bummed to hear that some of our faves did not get recognized for their performances. A Better Life’s Demian Bichir seemed like the worst snub, as he was M.I.A. when the Best Dramatic Actor names were read.

It was also a shame that Edward James Olmos failed to stir up any Golden Globe attention for his excellent work on Dexter this season. And though it was a longshot, we would have loved to have seen Penelope Cruz recognized for her comic performance in Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Those who were nominated included George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo DiCaprio in the Best Dramatic Actor category. Glenn Close, Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, and Rooney Mara were among the Best Dramatic Actress nominees. Bérénice Bejo, who recently scored a SAG nod, was recognized in the Best Supporting Actress category for her work in The Artist.

As far as Best Dramatic Picture, voters will be choosing between War Horse, The Descendants, The Help, Hugo, The Ides of March, and Moneyball. Best Comedy Picture nominees included Bridesmaids, The Artist, 50/50, My Week With Marilyn, and Midnight In Paris.

It is worth noting that the Latino-heavy Puss In Boots is up for Best Animated Picture. And in the Best Foreign Picture category, Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In picked up a nod. Strangely, Almodovar will be competing with Angelina Jolie for that award, since her Bosnian movie, In the Land of Blood and Honey, qualifies as a foreign language film.

On the TV side of things, Boardwalk Empire received tons of Golden Globe love. Game of Thrones also received multiple nominations, as did Modern Family (including yet another nod for Sofia Vergara!) Obviously, the full list of nominees is massive and we'll admit there are some very worthy people being recognized. If you'd like to see the breakdown, head over to IMDb.

We'll be anxiously awaiting the news of who takes home what when the 69th Golden Globe Awards air on January 15!

Will Marilyn Monroe finally get that Oscar recognition which never came to her during the actress' short-lived film career? In an odd twist of fate, it turns out that Ms. Monroe might just well get that Oscar after all! Marilyn -well, not exaclty her- is now perhaps the strongest contender to win the 2011 Best Actress Oscar!

Last night was the World Premiere of The Weinstein Company’s My Week With Marilyn as the centerpiece of the New York Film Festival. Michelle Williams radiates in the film with her outstanding layered performance that goes beyond impersonation, playing both the damaged, insecure woman and the sensual superstar celebrity. Williams brilliantly brings to life one of Hollywood's most enduring and tragic icons.

Adrian Hodges' screenplay is based on two memoirs by Colin Clark, “The Prince, The Showgirl and Me” and a subsequent confessional memoir titled like the film, My Week With Marilyn.  The 23-year-old Clark was the third assistant director to Laurence Olivier during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.

My Week With Marilyn was directed by British TV producer/director Simon Curtis. Following its premiere as the Centerpiece gala of the New York Film Festival, the film will be released Nov. 4 by the Weinstein Company, which is likely planning an awards-season push behind Williams.

Charlize Theron, Glenn Close, Meryl Streep and any other Oscar hopeful better watch out because Michelle Williams as Marilyn is so good. She also flawlessly sings a couple of Monroe tunes at the beginning and end of the film...triple threat in action!  Michelle nails the part on every complex level of what Marilyn was, and has certainly put her as a frontrunner for 2011 Oscar Gold.

Although Monroe herself was not familiar to the Oscars, she was a regular at the Golden Globes where she won Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for 1959's classic Some Like It Hot.

She was also nominated in the same category for 1956's Bus Stop.  Monroe was great in Bus Stop, but the Academy didn't recognize her performance before her tragic death in 1962. She did win some major international recognition for the 1957's The Prince And The Showgirl, winning the David di Donatello award which is the Italian Oscars as well as a a British Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Actress.

What do you think of Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe? Do you think Williams will get an Oscar for the iconic performance?

You could say Tuesday was a Biutiful evening in Los Angeles. The sky was clear, the weather was perfect and the stars were out for the premiere of Javier Bardem’s acclaimed new film. The cast and crew gave Tr3s lots of juicy soundbites about the Golden Globes, acting techniques and even Cowboys & Aliens!

The darlings of the night, Javier Bardem and director Alejandro González Iñárritu, beamed with pride after  Biutiful picked up a Golden Globe nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

“[It] was fantastic!" Iñárritu told Blogamole. "It was really great news! I have been working four years for this film to happen.”

Biutiful’s nomination is particularly meaningful to Iñárritu after he and executive producer Guillermo del Toro recently slammed Hollywood studios for putting out “recycled” and formulaic movies. Biutiful obviously doesn’t fall into that category, and recognition from the Golden Globes proves that great cinema can still be appreciated.

Javier Bardem was just as excited, calling the nomination “great news.” He went on to tell us about preparing for such a challenging role.

“You really have to prepare yourself [for this role]," Bardem told Blogamole. "The most challenging aspect of this character was that he had to face himself, to evaluate his life, to see what he did wrong, and to find the right ways to fix it.”

Although the movie was filled with life-and-death drama (and some very dark undertones), you wouldn't know it from the light-hearted atmosphere of the premiere, which kept celebs such as Melanie Griffith, Andy Garcia and Milla Jovovich smiling throughout the evening.

We also caught up with Nacho Libre star Ana de la Reguera at the event. The actress, who recently added HBO’s Eastbound & Down to her credits, told us about her upcoming sci-fi western, Cowboys & Aliens.

“It’s going to be an amazing film, and it’s got a very interesting plot," de la Reguera told Blogamole. "Aliens in the 1800’s and all kinds of cool stuff.”

Coming from producer Steven Spielberg and the director of Iron Man, we can’t wait to see the film when it opens next July.

As for Biutiful, it's just as amazing as we hoped it would be. Though we’ve been sworn to secrecy for one more week, you can bet we’ll have an exciting review waiting for you before the movie officially hits theaters December 29.

The Golden Globe nominations are in, and we're excited that two of our selected holiday films, along with our favorite Modern Family gal, Sofia Vergara, were nominated for the coveted awards.

We admittedly haven't seen all of the nominated films yet, but we're going to go out on a limb here and cast our vote in the Best Motion Picture Drama category for David Fincher's The Social Network. The critically acclaimed movie weaves together an intricate story about the creation of Facebook with incredible performances from the cast, including Jesse Eisenberg.

In the Best Motion Picture Comedy category, we’re going against the odds and voting for Burlesque. Since so many critics panned it, we were actually surprised that Christina Aguilera's flick made the cut, but we like an underdog and we like Cher even more.

Last month, we made a point to praise Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal's chemistry in the film Love & Other Drugs. They both scored Best Actor nods for the film and, frankly, we hope they win. Each gave a funny, heartfelt performance. Plus, they showed off quite a bit of skin for their roles, which this writer has no problem endorsing!

Although Hollywood Foreign Press Association failed to deliver any Golden Globe love to Biutiful star Javier Bardem or director Alejandro González Iñárritu, we are thrilled that it was nominated for Best Foreign Film. The movie’s touching life-and-death story crosses language barriers, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it takes home the prize.

Moving on to television, we’ve got to give some props to Sofia Vergara, who was nominated for Best Television Actress. Is this her year or what? An Emmy nomination, an $8 million Kmart deal and now a Golden Globe nomination. She’s up against some heavy hitters, namely Glee’s Jane Lynch, but we still think she has a shot. And regardless, we can’t wait to see what she wears on the red carpet.

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards airs January 16.

The Nominees for the 67th Annual Golden Globes were announced this morning by Justin Timberlake and nuestra actriz Española favorita, Penelope Cruz, was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture category for Nine.

Her competition in the category includes: Vera Farmiga (Up In The Air), Anna Kendrick (Up In The Air), Mo'Nique (Precious), and Julianne Moore (A Single Man).

We'd say her chances look pretty good! Cruz is, after all, an Oscar winner! She received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Vicky Christina Barcelona. Do you think she'll take home the Golden Globe for her sexy role as a mistress in Nine? The one thing we do know is that the sexy Javier Bardem is sure to be her date! [Golden Globes]
