Gloria Trevi is revealing her most important life lesson! You won't find this tip by pealing a self-help book open! The scandalous chava has graduated from the real escuela of the hard-knocks with a controversial past that has received endless tabloid scrutiny, but Gloria wants to share her survival skills with her fans.

Lesson #1: Listen to "Todos Me Miran." The electric disco-inspired single is an anthem of self-confidence that will even have los nerds feeling like jocks!

La Trevi explains that self-worth is the key:

Mira, lo importante es tú te lo valores a ti misma por eso ‘Todos Me Miran’. Es la canción con que tú te puedes volver a querer y si tú te quieres puedes querer a los demás, por eso dice ‘amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo, no más te tienes que amar mucho tú para amar mucho a los demás.

Her advice sounds pretty on-point. ¿Qué piensas? Are her words of wisdom universal? [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

Tis' the season of giving, and Gloria Trevi is rejoicing in the holiday spirit...

The generous "Cinco Minutos" estrella provided free gifts and represented her charity organization, Fundación Ana Dalai, dedicated to supporting incarcerated mothers and their children in Chihuahua, Mexico. Although La Trevi was unable to attend the event due to scheduling conflicts, La Navidad came early for dozens of familias who were showered with endless toys and regalitos.

The foundation's representative, Liliana Pérez spoke on behalf of Gloria:

Esto es una experiencia que vivimos en carne propia, al ver esas caritas tristes de los niños de las internas, quienes pagan la mayor de las condenas. Niños maltratados y rechazados por la sociedad, que muchas veces andan de casa en casa por que nadie quiere la responsabilidad y el gasto de ellos.

Gloria Trevi may have her crazy side, but she is a loca with a heart of gold! Want to help Gloria make a difference? Visit the Ana Dalai Foundation and find out how to volunteer! [Notimex]

Hold on to your "Pelo Suelto"...

Word on la calle is that Gloria Trevi is finally ready to marry her longterm novio and son's baby daddy, Armando Gómez. The "Cinco Minutos" chica didn't waste anytime spilling about her desire to wed in a traditional church ceremony (yep, that includes the white vestido!).

Despite her scandalous past and dramatic union with convicted felon, Sergio Andrade, La Trevi reveals that she has a newfound respect for sharing her vows the old fashioned way.

She states:

Ahem! Can our chava at least flash her engagement ring bling?! Well, in the meantime let's just hope she retires her ripped leggings during la boda. Que crees? [La Oreja]

You know you've made it when people can't stop talking about you...

Whether it's good or bad. Gloria Trevi knows a thing or two or three about dealing with that. Nay-sayers and media alike can't get enough of the ever eclectic Trevi, from her scandals to her tights she always has something interesting to comment on. Recently, MTV News caught up with La Chava to ask her what she has to say about the chismosos:

Not everything that has been said about me is true. And not everything has been said either. [laughs] Normally, the people that talk about me are very dark [unhappy] people... Those who really know me, love me.

Good call. It's this attitude that has kept the mexicana pop queen in her throne for over 20 years. Get to know her a little more by hearing what else she had to say below:

BEWARE HATERS: Gloria Trevi is adapting her rocker steez onto the big-screen.

The "Cinco Minutos" singer has spent a decade battling her controversial past in the public eye, but now La Trevi is spilling all of the juicy details and real life drama in an upcoming biographical film. La Trevi confessed the chisme to a Puerto Rican newspaper, and revealed that she wants the flick to represent a universal message of struggle and hope.

She says,

Don't expect La Trevi to bring out her own ripped leggings and teased hair for la película. She will not be starring in the movie herself, but a casting call has gone out to A-list Latina actresses, including Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba. Production will begin in 2009.

Eva has the look, and Jessica...well we aren't too sure about that one! Who do you think would put-on a four star performance? [La Oreja]

There is a robber on the loose...

If you think Gloria Trevi and Juanes have nothing in common...piensa otra vez! The estrellas were both robbed in Mexico last week. La Trevi's property in Tampico, Tamaulipas, which is now home to her mother-in-law was broken into by men dressed in military costumes holding a false warrant. The housekeeper claims that the group of men forcefully entered the mansion and stole la suegra's belongings, including her cellphone.

The employee states:

Juanes was also recently stripped of his goods in Mérida. Word is that the Colombiano was robbed in his hotel room two days before Los Premios. The unidentified thieves ran away with Juanes' computer and cellphone.
