It has been confirmed that actress Eva Longoria Parker has filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker. According to sources, even though the actress is the one who filed, she is said to be devastated over her impending divorce from the basketball great.

Citing "Irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the divorce, Longoria filed her papers this morning (November 17th) at the L.A. County Superior Court. Even though the couple signed a pre-nup before getting hitched back in 2007, it is rumored that the actress is seeking alimony from her soon to be former hubby.
Longoria-Parker Tweeted today:
"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."
It seems like this was the one celebrity couple that no one thought would ever call it quits. Sources close to the couple are claiming that Parker cheated on his wife with a married woman. We at Team Blogamole can't help but wonder if Eva will follow up with what she started during the EMA and release a Parker-themed rap about the split.

Are they? Aren't they? TMZ.com reported earlier today that Tony Parker filed for divorce yesterday (November 15) in a Texas court. According to the tabloid site, two clerks at the Bexar County Courthouse apparently confirmed that the case was filed Monday and sealed by a family law judge.
However, Eva Longoria Parker's rep quickly came to la pareja's defense, disputing the divorce rumors and forcing TMZ to file a retraction. Ouch!
Longoria's publicist, Liza Anderson, did not expand on the denial in her comment to X17Online, nor did an unnamed Parker rep in a similar ("100% false") statement to CelebBuzz.
TMZ now says:
"Eva's rep tells us Tony did not file and does not even have a divorce lawyer."
Also adding:
"Another clerk at the courthouse now tells us she's in charge of sealed cases and says no such case has crossed her desk."
So, it seems all is well in the Parker relationship for now, though that hasn't always been the case.
In 2007, a number of tabloids reported that Parker had cheated on Longoria with model Alexandra Paressant. The couple denied the claims and were eventually issued an apology from X17Online, which claimed to have been misled by Paressant.

It's official! Madrid has been taken over by celebrities as the 2010 European Music Awards get ready to tape this weekend. Eva Longoria Parker is the host du jour and before she takes stage, the Tejana Mexicana let us know what she's most excited about at this weekend's awards show.
Image : Getty Images
Which performers are you most excited to see?
"I’m really exited to see Katy Perry, Shakira never disappoints, and I love Kings of Leon and Linkin Park. The performers they have got lined up are amazing. I’m thrilled that Bon Jovi are receiving an award, because that’s probably my favorite band of all time. I’ve seen them in concert many times, I’ve met them and even had my picture taken with them. In fact my photo of me with Bon Jovi is such a prized possession that I have it hanging up in my office."
You performed a rap song for the EMA promo video. Do you think you'll get a record deal?
"Probably not! The whole point of the EMAs is that you expect the unexpected. I had so much fun doing the promo rap although I was absolutely terrified doing it. I was only given the script on the day and we had two hours to shoot it, so I didn’t have time either to get nervous or to back out."
What are you wearing to host the show?
"I’ll be wearing several different outfits, of course. In fact I’ll probably make six to eight changes. Music awards are always pushing the limits of fashion so anything goes, especially at the MTV EMAs – and I’m excited to go there. At this event there is a kind of a double licence to wear what you want – normal rules don’t apply. So I’m going to try and see if I can pull off some way-out outfits. I’m still deciding exactly what to wear, but one thing is for sure, I will be wearing one of Victoria Beckham’s dresses. She’s a good friend now."
The EMA air this Sunday (November 7) at 8pm on Tr3s.

If you happen to be in the greater NYC area on Thursday (November 4) between the hours of 7-9pm, then you should definitely check out the NY premiere of Eva Longoria Parker's "Latinos Living The American Dream" at El Museo del Barrio. Did we mention it's FREE?!!!
Earlier this year, Longoria Parker partnered with the Pepsi YO SUMO initiative to produce a documentary that highlights the accomplishments and impact Latinos have had in shaping the landscape of the United States. The feature is a culmination of Pepsi's YO SUMO movement which encouraged Latinos to go beyond being counted and begin to count, in the year of the 2010 Census.
To create the doc, Eva selected stories from a pool of over 600 submissions to www.pepsiyosumo.com, shared by Latinos nationwide.
Of the many submissions, Longoria Parker released the following statement:
"Every story entered was so inspiring, that identifying only a few to highlight was a difficult and intense process. We hope that by shinning the light on some Latinos who are leading successful lives – getting an education, pursuing a career and giving back to their community – we can encourage people everywhere to make their own impact locally and nationally, further proving the drive and power of our culture."
While "Latinos Living the American Dream" premiered on October 21st at Los Angeles' Grauman's Chinese Theater, it will now begin a series of screenings held at cultural centers and college campuses nationwide to foster a bigger dialogue on the state and representation of Latinos across the country.

Ok, we’re officially freaked out! The pix that hit the web today of Eva Longoria Parker standing next to her figure from Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum are making us think she’s got a twin no one’s ever heard about.
Sporting the same dress Eva wore to the Alma Awards, a glistening smile, and flowing brown hair, Longoria 2.0 got tons of media attention when it was unveiled in Vegas this past week. Even hubby Tony Parker got snapped with a confused look on his face when posing next to the doppelganger.
But of course, it’s all in good fun and obvious that Eva brought along her trademark sense of humor when she posed for side-by-side pictures. With the finale of Hispanic Heritage Month on the horizon, the wax figure unveiling was done as a gesture to honor Longoria Parker and her charitable contributions within the past few weeks.
So now we’re wondering, where in the Museum will the new Eva go? We think she’d look great next to Snoop Dogg and Madonna in the Icons Room. But shouldn't there be a 'waxified' Tony P. in there to keep her company?

Welcome to a whole new way to be charitable. Back in the day, groups of stars would get involved with causes via telethons, auctions, or whatever. But now Eva Longoria Parker has taken giving into the modern age, with the first ever celebrity Twitter auction. And get this, so far she’s raised over $540,000!

This particular charity is to help aid children and those continuing to struggle in Haiti. By donating a set amount of dollars, you can not only make a difference, but get your favorite celebs to Tweet you a personalized message! And you can even get them follow you in the Twitterverse.
With over 750,000 Followers, it’s clear Eva’s a master of all things Twitter. Obviously, she would have been our first choice for a personalized message, but if you preferred another A-lister, you could’ve hooked up with Mario Lopez, Nicole Richie, or Lala Vasquez, all of whom were involved.
It’s clear Eva was very touched by overwhelming response, Tweeting,
“Thanks again to all of U that bid & won auctions @ http://TwitChange.com -our team is working hard behind the scenes for each of you all! Xo”
And remember, it’s not too late to donate. If you’re interested in helping those less fortunate in Haiti, please visit TwitChange.com.

The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmys took place last night (August 29th) at Los Angeles' Kodak Theater. Amidst the scorching L.A. heat, Hollywood's glitterati managed to look sleek and chic in their red carpet couture. Here's a round-up of some of our faves!
Sofia Vergara shined in her strapless champagne colored Carolina Herrera gown adorned with swarovski crystals.
Eva Longoria Parker and Lauren Velez donned classic black frocks. While Lauren opted for simple satin, Eva's Robert Rodriguez was simple in its complexity with a beautifully ornate skirt to match its otherwise plain bodice.
Kim Kardashian looked like the epitome of a Grecian goddess in white.
Lea Michele was stunning in her navy Oscar De La Renta flamenco style gown.
Keri Russell added a necessary pop of color in an understated hot pink number.
And now on to the men! Mario Lopez played the role of the dapper gentleman in a beautiful tux.
"Lost" veteran Jorge Garcia came suited and booted, and brought his wife who rocked a purple cocktail dress.
And "Modern Family" star Rico Rodriguez rounds out our list as the cutest red carpet newcomer!

WARNING: This post could either be very depressing or very inspirational. TV Guide recently published an article breaking down the salaries of this Fall’s biggest TV stars and it’s downright insane to hear the kind of figures these peeps are pulling in!
When did “House” become the biggest show on TV? Whether you agree or not, star Hugh Laurie is one of the highest paid dramatic stars in primetime, taking in $400k per show! Calculate in an average of 22 episodes per season and you’re in for an annual $8.8M paycheck.

As far as comedy fans go, “30 Rock”'s Tina Fey is laughing all the way to the bank with a rate of $350k per show. And don’t even get us started on Judge Judy! Her hot temper must be working for her because she takes home a cool $45M per year!
We were shocked to discover that Ryan Seacrest pulls a cool $15M annually and Snooki had her rate bumped up to $30k for each “Jersey Shore.”
Interestingly enough, this year’s totals actually worked out pretty well for Latinos. Many of our favorite faces actually topped their respective lists! Eva Longoria Parker, and her three “Desperate” costars, currently make the most per episode of any women on television, with $400k per episode!

Eva Longoria Parker has been all about embracing her cultura Latina these days. From her heated disdain for the Arizona Immigration bill, to announcing last year that she'd be going to school to get in touch with her Chicano roots. But it's not very often we hear the 'Desperate Housewife' sounding off en Español.

La actriz was interviewed en Español at this past weekend's 'Playing for Hope' benefit gala, which she co-hosted with futbolista Rafael Márquez. En la entrevista, la actriz revealed how she ended up working with Rafa to host the event.
"Pos somos buenos amigos y el es una persona que tiene un gran corazon como yo, y quiere ayudar los niños..."
I'm sorry... did she say "pos"? Como buena Mexicana, La Longoria is starting to pick up on some hearty south-of-the-border slang! But that doesn't mean las palabras come easy! Watch as she stumbles through a few sentences in Spanish ("película." Say it with me, Eva, "pe-lí-cula") in the clip below.
Original Video- More videos at TinyPic
At least she looks fantastic, and is contributing to a worthy cause! The benefit was meant to raise funds for Rafa's Rafa Márquez Foundation, as well as Eva's Heroes, Eva's foundation to aid struggling children in San Antonio, TX. Y, bueno, por lo menos hizo el intento de hablar en su lengua, verdad?
