Before she was the last to be eliminated on 'Mira Quién Baila,' Mexican-American actress and model Elizabeth Gutiérrez received a very special visit from Cuban model and actor William Levy. The surprise wasn't so much for her as for the public, apparently, but it was great to see the pair look so in love again after such a tumultuous couple of years.

As we all know, their 8-year relationship has been strained, to say the least. The couple announced in May that their relationship was over after a lawsuit alleging Levy had sex with a minor. Levy denies any sexual abuse and is suing for $10 million in the case.

We recently talked to Gutiérrez about their relationship.

Elizabeth Gutierrez: I think maybe it was a surprise for you all, who knows? Actually it was a really nice surprise. I know that he's busy working on the weekends, so for him to take the time for me really means a lot to me.

AOL Latino: Was the fact he was here showing you support and embracing you during the elimination important to you?

Elizabeth Gutierrez: Yes, of course. We've always supported each other through the good and bad and in all the adventures of both our careers, which we paved together. We're always there for each other.

AOL Latino: Why do you think it's difficult for you both to talk about you being a couple. Is there a reason you've chosen not to?

Elizabeth Gutierrez: What happens is that the more we talk, the more the press tends to dig and sometimes invent things. So one just prefers to protect one's self and not speak so openly as we might've before.

AOL Latino: Do you imagine anyone other than William Levy being a father to your kids?

Forget starring on a novela, it seems like William Levy's love life is starting to become one! In another interesting turn of events, pics circulating in Twitter show the clean-shaven star cozying up with ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Gutierrez over the weekend.

As you may remember, Levy and Gutierrez famously split up back in May. Since then, she has still professed her love for him and they've been seen together quite frequently (though they do share two children).

But could the old flames be heating up? The William/J. Lo rumors have been shot down and he's been showing up solo to events. You never know, maybe Levy has decided the single life isn't all it’s cracked up to be.

Whatever the backstory is, it's clear from the pics that both William and Elizabeth were having a blast together last Saturday night. But just like any good soap opera, we have the feeling there may be more drama to come.

Far from the non-stop birthday celebrations attended by Jennifer Lopez and her entourage, William Levy surprised us by spending the weekend - exclusively - with a different kind of entourage: his two adorable children and beautiful baby-mama, Elizabeth Gutierrez!

As if to deny the possibility of any hint of romance between himself and La Lopez, who partied the weekend away in sunny Miami, looking newly slim and reportedly very happy, Levy played dad by day and gallant escort by night, spending every minute with his family. Sources say that the recently separated duo spent all day with their son and daughter and they danced the night away together at Miami disco Club 50.

Oh my God, you guys, do you think they're getting back together?!?!

William has definitely kept us busy lately, as we have been keeping you posted on romance rumors with Barbara Mori, speculating on his involvement in the JLo/Marc Anthony breakup, checking our reflection in his newly-chromed dome (we look fabulous, darling) and weighing in on his upcoming move to the big screen.

Here's a new bit of news that may bring a few of those recent items together! You see, sources are saying that the telenovela star is actually linked with Jennifer Lopez, but it's not a hot romance at all -instead, the story goes that Jenny's 'people' are rumored to be taking on Levy's management, in hopes of launching a successful Hollywood career for the 'Cuban Brad Pitt,' a fact which may be publicly announced before long.

The star even told fans on Twitcam that he's got a few big-screen roles to pick from -in addition to his current project, which begins filming in November- including one in which he would portray a boxer. (The star commented that his new 'do would be a perfect fit for the part.) By the way, William did mention the rumors about Jennifer Lopez, in a roundabout way, saying:

"Es una chica adorable, me encanta, es muy linda y es muy profesional, ¿ok? Muy profesional".

Okay, okay, we get it, William. ANYWAY...

In other William Levy news, girls everywhere will surely experience a moment of cognitive dissonance when they hear that the sexy Cuban star is looking into finding ways of putting lingerie on them! That's right, in addition to a proposed line of accessories such as watches and sunglasses, the 30 year old actor is looking into developing ladies' underwear for his army of fans.

And just in case an ensemble featuring William Levy shades, a timepiece, and a full suite of unmentionables isn't enough, you can also get set to buy Levy's new fragrance, which hits the market in January of 2012. Can't wait!

William Levy hit the Premios Juventud 2011 blue carpet sharply dressed in a gray jacket and vest over a crisp white shirt and black dress pants, but his outfit wasn't the focus of his awards-show look. Instead, all eyes were on William's gleaming dome, sheared clean of it's trademark surfer-blond locks.

That's right, folks, William has shaved it all off up top! The telenovela star, who has announced that he's taking a break from TV to focus on his big screen aspirations, decided to simplify his morning routine by doing something drastic. So what gives?

Well, at the event, Will joked to curious fans: "No tengo que afeitarme, ni peinarme en las mañanas." Folks, William Levy is having a tough year, between his recent split from Elizabeth Gutierrez, as-yet unconfirmed rumors of a new relationship with actress/model Barbara Mori, legal allegations regarding misconduct with a minor, and rabid media speculation sparked by his starring role in JLo's sexy "I'm into You" music video. (Wow, I'm tired just writing all of that.) So is it the start of a new spartan lifestyle that prompted the change?

If William's eye is on L.A., the new 'do may be a wise move, after all Hollywood has been kind to bald men - and ladies! Between hunky types like (my favorite!) "The Transporter" Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, and Bruce Willis, as well as butt-whupping scalp-baring leading ladies (who could forget a bald Sigourney Weaver in Aliens or Natalie Portman's dramatic shaven head in "V"?) there's definitely a precedent for serious heat owed to the shorn and shiny scalp.

On the other hand, the specter of rumored hair-loss does tend to haunt male stars. John Travolta, Jude Law, Ben Affleck, and the rest of the follicle-challenged celebs out there, who are still just a touch too vain to go for the chrome dome, often have to contend with speculation about the extent to which their baldness has progressed, and theories abound as to just how much the condition is or is not modified by lace-fronts, toupees, helmets, hats, bandannas, and so forth.

But never fear - it's not the simplicity of a bare-bones morning primping routine or a drastic reaction to male pattern balding that's at the heart of the new look. Instead, the "Cuban Brad Pitt" confided that the hair-less hairstyle is actually for his upcoming film project, before assuring fans that he isn't leaving the telenovela world behind forever in favor of Hollywood.

In the ongoing story of Jennifer Lopez's split from husband of seven years Marc Anthony, there are all sorts of rumors bubbling up, speculating on the cause of the dissolution of their marriage.

Terrible fights are rumored to have been increasingly frequent since the birth of the couple's twins, Emme and Max, more than three years ago.

It's also possible that the stress from the ongoing legal battle between Jenny and first husband and eternal butt-pain Ojani Noa is to blame. Some sources say that Marc's desire to control Jennifer's image caused a lot of grief between the two, citing examples of his complaints about her wardrobe and sexy photo shoots and music videos, as well as coaching her behind the scenes and on commercial breaks during "American Idol."

This latest bit of chisme that came to mind when we heard that sexy telenovela ex-galán William Levy has gone on the record saying that he has nothing to do with the Lopez-Anthony split.

After all it's Levy, often tagged as the "Cuban Brad Pitt" who played the non-speaking but very featured role of the Latin lover in Lopez's recent "Into You" video. And Lopez has a history of dating her leading men, right? Also, Levy himself recently waved adios to the beautiful and charming Elizabeth Gutierrez, the mother of his own two kids. So, you know, suspicious overlap of timing, right?

But William Levy says no, right? And although the long-standing practice of public relations rumor denial is nothing less than a part of the established social ritual at this point, we know for sure that sometimes when a celeb says a rumor is false, it's sometimes just that. Even if it comes from Will's P.R. guys. His rep tells TMZ:

"William and J.Lo are NOT an item. "The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That’s all there’s ever been.”

For sure, there are all kinds of rumors flying around that have to do with Levy and Elizabeth break up, citing a statutory rape case that is as gross as it is disturbing, a rumored relationship with co-star Maite Perroni, and another rumored affair, this time with another actress, Barbara Mori.

So... while Levy may be a sort of a 'ladies man' and also allegedly a big creeper, I'm going to run out on a limb here and say that he's probably got a few too many things on his hands as it is without dealing with serious heavy hitters like Lopez and Anthony, who could wreck his career just as easily as a romance with Jenny from the Block could get him crossover press (especially with the rest of the rumors about him, just a Google-search away online.)

And for another thing, anyone who has seen the video in question can attest to the fact that while Lopez and Levy sure are pretty, and make a handsome pair, they have about the same chemistry as I have with this spinach salad here. Almost.

Which is to say not very much.

In a joint venture between the department of looking gift horses in the mouth and the department of biting the hand that feeds you (joking!), today I bring you the news that William Levy has announced to fans on his Twitter feed that he is taking a break from telenovelas.

That's right, and I bet you can guess why! Yep - the lanky blond Cuban TV star of several hit shows, including Pasión and Cuidado Con Angel, is making the jump to the movies and that's why he's got no plans to return to the small screen. Instead, he is spending his time developing his first movie project (probably with new love Barbara Mori) and planning a trip to Guatemala, where he will be lending a hand for Teletón 2011.

Other destinations include a stop in Washington D.C., to host the 25th Hispanic Heritage Awards gala with two-time co-star Maite Perroni, and also possibly some time with his fans in Hungary. (Slightly random, but hey, good on them...)

Telenovela leading-man Levy, who started his career as a model for Next Models before moving on to reality television (most notably 2003's Protagonistas de Telenovela 2 - where he met Elizabeth Gutierrez), has worked in film before, lending his voice to the Spanish version of the animated movie "Planet 51." He was in Jennifer Lopez's video for "I'm Into You," and even made an appearance on Sesame Street Mexico. So far, no actual film appearances, though...

Any guesses what sort of movie Levy's making? Do you suppose he will have a starring role? English or Spanish?

Elizabeth Gutiérrez appeared on Univision's El Gordo Y La Flaca and answered questions about her erstwhile relationship with fellow soap star and overall Cuban hotness William Levy in the kindest and most respectful terms possible, stating that they get along great, though they're just people, with normal ups and downs.

The Mexican model/actress went on to explain that she and Levy will always be tied together by their children, and that she loves him still. When asked if Levy still loves her, she joked that the talk show's host, Raúl De Molina, would have to call him up and ask him. Gutiérrez then added that as the mother of his children, of course Levy still regards her with affection, but gently deflected further prying. (Sigh... what can I say? I ADORE her - girl crush!)

Gutiérrez and former Next Model Levy met as contestants on Protagonistas de Novela 2 in 2003, and had their first child, a son, in 2006, followed by a daughter in 2010.

The duo split officially in May of 2011, when Gutiérrez released a statement to the press that left a lot of folks wondering, although it seems from this interview that they remain on good terms for the sake of their kids. On the other hand, rumors abound suggesting that Levy was less than straight with his leading lady.

This guy makes news! With stories ranging from on-set romance with Maite Perroni of Triunfo del Amor to much more risque business including an underage romp with an intern, random gay rumors following his smooch with David Zapeda, sightings in various strip clubs (girls!), and even tales of a new leading lady!

That's right - gossip about a possible romance between William Levy and Uruguayan-born actress Barbara Mori continues to heat up, thanks to a video that surfaced last month of the model/telenovela star inviting Levy into her home for the night. If the rumors are true, the two are still trying to keep any relationship chatter under wraps.

Green-eyed beauty Bárbara made an appearance in Mexico City last week to support her brother's music career. Although reporters peppered her with questions about Levy, she was mum on the subject, avoiding their inquiries with general statements about her career.

I'm sure there's more coming on the subject of William's love life (how could there NOT be - he's prolific!) and we'll be reporting on it right here.

Perhaps Elizabeth Gutierrez made the right choice to let go of her longtime lover, William Levy. In just the past month alone, he's been linked to three different women, the latest being Uruguayan actress Barbara Mori!

A model and actress, Barbara is definitely one of Latin America's most sought-after beauties. She even crossed over into Bollywood territory, with a sexy turn in the Indian movie Kites. Apparently she's working on a new film project produced by Levy, and it's not that hard to imagine the two celebs hooking up.

Both Levy and Mori were recently spotted getting "extra cozy" at a Mexico City nightclub. Gossip spies reported that they were kissing, holding hands, and even exiting out the back door together! But, as per usual, reps for both stars have denied any romance.

Looking at their recent dating history, a Mori/Levy courtship doesn't seem all that far-fetched. Barbara ended her relationship with Chilean musician Beto Cuevas right around the time that William and Elizabeth split. Could it all just be a "coincidence?"

Ever since the surprise breakup of William Levy and Elizabeth Gutierrez, speculations have run wild about mistresses that may have torn the two apart. First stories popped up that Levy was romancing the 19-year-old daughter of a novelas producer. And now, it seems that the paparazzi have snapped Willie and Mexican actress and singer Mariana Seoane in a very compromising pose!

For all we know, Levy could be hooking up with both women. But it's clear that something big must have gone down for Elizabeth to walk away from the father of her two kids. Guanabee’s original theory stemmed around Barbara Lopez, the teenage daughter of a powerful Mexican TV exec. They claim that footage exists of her and William, which may get sold and broadcast on the web.

It all makes for great chisme, but still has yet to be proven. Levy and Mariana however, were caught on camera and the pics are now being plastered all over the web. William and Seoane were snapped groping each other outside of a restaurant, which (as expected) has created a media firestorm.

As of right now, no one from the Levy camp has spoken up about the scandal. William's grandmother claims to know nothing about the breakup and his siblings are staying quiet. But something tells us that Elizabeth knows a lot more than she's saying and could be dropping big bombshells in the very near future.

Something tell us we'll be hearing about William Levy and Elizabeth Gutierrez' breakup for many weeks to come. Even within the last 24 hours, gossip sites have been reporting more rumors, more innuendos, and an "official" declaration from the Cuban-American hunk himself.

Responding to Elizabeth’s recent statement, Levy said,

"A través de estas líneas, deseo hacer de su conocimiento que estoy profundamente agradecido con Elizabeth, la madre de mis dos hijos, por el tiempo que compartimos juntos."

He went on to add,

"Quiero subrayar que conservo los mejores recuerdos de nuestra relación, y aunque la vida nos lleva por rumbos distintos, espero que esta decisión sea para bien. Aprovecho para agradecer a los medios de comunicación su interés y espero que comprendan mi decisión de no hacer más comentarios al respecto."

We’re definitely proud of William and Elizabeth for taking the high road with the media, particularly for the sake of their kids Christopher and Kailey. But, with the latest chisme that’s been circulating, we’re not sure how much longer the civil behavior will last.

According to Celestrellas, there could be several reasons for Elizabeth calling it quits. One story says that their son Christopher was having a very difficult time dealing with the couple’s fighting. Other rumors claim that Levy’s ego had grown out of control, particularly since his high-profile appearance in J. Lo's "I’m Into You" video. And perhaps the most shocking theory of all is that William may have secretly fathered another child!

Of course none of these stories can be proven, but more evidence may arise within the next few days. And if William's bad behavior is to blame, you can bet the details will become more public. Especially if Elizabeth decides to drag this out in court.
