It's not often you see a former Welterweight Champ behind the anchorman desk. But then again, El Gordo y La Flaca isn't your ordinary television series. The Univision talker will now include a regular news segment delivered by Hector "Macho" Camacho.
Camacho appeared on the show before and has proven to be a big hit for the network. Known for his wild antics and outspoken attitude, the 10-time world boxing champ drew massive ratings with his appearance on this season's Mira Quien Baila.
For his Gordo segment, Hector will offer opinions on topics like politics, entertainment, and (of course) sports. We imagine he'll also be a great comedy foil for hosts Raul De Molina and Lili Estefan.
You can look for Hector's "Macho News" every Friday on the show. And who knows? If he becomes popular enough, you may even spot a Camacho spoof in that upcoming El Gordo porn parody!
Do you Hector will make a good newsman? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Some people find it disgusting, others like to joke about it, but one thing's for sure; if the premise of your TV show has been turned into a porn movie, you’ll most certainly be grabbing headlines! This week, Latin Gossip published the first shots from El Gordo y La Flaca’s XXX parody.
To be honest, the lookalikes they've chosen for Lili Estefan and Raul De Molina are pretty spot on. Everything from Gordo's trademark grey suit to Flaca's flowing blonde hair have been simulated perfectly. Even the set looks identical to what you might see on Univision.
But this movie is geared directly towards the "adult" audience. Believe it or not, porn parodies have proven to be quite successful in recent years. Classic shows like The Brady Bunch, Seinfeld, and 30 Rock have all gotten the XXX treatment.
El Gordo y La Flaca leaves quite a bit to the imagination too. With their constant array of celebrity guests and sidekicks, who knows what other famous dopplegangers the sexy filmmakers may add in to the mix!

There is no denying that Oscar de la Hoya has led an incredible life. From his humble beginnings in East L.A., to his stellar boxing career, to his recent stint in rehab, we're sure the "Golden Boy" has many stories to tell. And now he's planning to do just that, with a self-penned tell-all book.
Oscar recently told El Gordo y La Flaca that he was in the midst of writing his memoirs. And according to the former Welterweight champ, he's planning to hold nothing back.
Yup, that means even the notorious fishnet photos could get a chapter or two. But we imagine that won't be the central focus. De la Hoya has also built up an incredible career as a businessman, with holdings that are said to be worth hundreds of millions.
We, for one, are quite curious to read Oscar's recollections. But it's interesting to note that the tell-all won't be his first foray into writing. Back in 2006, De la Hoya published the children's book Super Oscar, which proved to be very popular with Jr. boxing fans.

El ex-cantante de RBD, Christian Chavez, told El Gordo y La Flaca esta semana that if he had to pick un artista with whom to go out with, it would be Juanes. We certainly can't say we blame him!
However, Christian was quick to change his tune today, after Juanes dismissed the crush to the press saying "Gracias, lo respeto, pero no son mis intereses."
Burn! Ouch!
Pero no hay problema -- Christian issued an apology of sorts to el cantante Colombiano when he returned to the scene of the crime and stated on el show del Gordo y La Flaca:
"No, qué pena, no le estoy tirando el calzón, no quiero con Juanes. El Gordo me preguntó y yo respondí 'Juanes' por la admiración que siento por él, pero para nada en otro sentido, imaginen, qué va a pensar su esposa, qué pena."
Good save, Christian! So you "like" Juanes, but you don't like, "LIKE" Juanes. We get it... [People En Español]
