Clearly, the music buying public is eager for a new Bruno Mars album. His debut, Doo Wops & Hooligans, has already sold millions of copies and been honored with countless awards. Though record #2 is still shrouded in secrecy, the 26-year-old crooner did reveal some promo shots that he's planning to use for it.

BET.com debuted two black-and-white stills featuring Bruno in his trademark retro style. One shot has him dressed in a scuffled "Rat Pack-esque" suit, while the other has him posing in a checkered shirt and bomber jacket.

Speaking about his sophomore album with Ryan Seacrest, Mars did drop a few hints about what fans can expect.

"I want to have fun on this next album," he said. "I think that's the most important key, especially now that I’ve been on the road and am playing a lot of shows. I have a little more of a vision than I think I did with Doo-Wops & Hooligans."

We're sure a lot of Hooligans out there are very curious about what Bruno's next "vision" may be. Hopefully we can get a taste of some new material when he takes the Grammy stage next year.

Something tells us there will be a lot of Doo Wops & Hooligans coming out of the L.A. Convention Center next February. The debut record by Bruno Mars received an impressive amount of Grammy nominations Wednesday night, including a nod for Album of the Year.

In total, Bruno nabbed six nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year (for "Grenade"), and Best Pop Solo Performance. His numbers were only topped by Kanye West, who scored seven nods for tracks like "All Of The Lights" and "Otis" from Watch The Throne.

British crooner Adele didn't do too shabby either. He 21 album got a ton of Grammy love, as did her signature song "Rolling In The Deep." Other recognizable contenders include Katy Perry, Rihanna, and The Foo Fighters.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way is up for Album of the Year too, which we're actually doubly excited about. Not just for the Little Monster, but for our Tr3s Coolturista Fernando Garibay, who's been recognized as a producer.

And though the Latin Grammys have come and gone, there are still Tropical categories that'll get their due during the big show. Los Tigres del Norte scored a nomination in the Best Banda category and Tr3s fave Gustavo Galindo scored a nod in the Best Latin Album category (though he’ll be going up against Maná and Calle 13!).

CBS put on an entire televised concert to celebrate the nominations, which featured performances by the likes of Usher and Rihanna. There was even an interesting Gaga/Sugarland duet, which could be an exciting taste of things to come. Mars, who was at the concert, seemed thrilled by the end of the night and even made up a tweet word to express his excitement.

"I've been trynna think of something clever to say.. But the only thing that comes to my mind is... FRIKIKIKIKI!! We Did It! #Hooligans" he posted.

We're definitely looking forward to some fun "FRIKIKIKIKI" performances from Bruno, Adele, and Big Bad Kanye when the 2012 Grammy Awards go down on February 10!

We know you’re "supposed" to use your iPhone for storing numbers, making calls, and managing schedules. But let's be honest, the real perks of Apple’s handheld mobile device are the games and funky widgets. Now pop crooner Bruno Mars has given us one more touchscreen time killer with his new app called Bruno Mars Revenge.

Based upon the formula from Apple's "Tap Tap Tap" series, Revenge lets players try to match the music beats of tracks from Bruno’s Doo Wops & Hooligans album. Songs like "Grenades" and "Just The Way You Are" are all featured, along with a cute caricature of the crooner himself.

"Tap Tap Tap" has a similar feel to the Rock Band series of games and has licensed many big names from the music biz for its products. Other versions of Revenge have starred both Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

But we're thinking Bruno may be your best downloadable bet. Not only do you get hours of fun with the game, you'll also receive a Mars photo gallery and lyrics to all of Doo Wops''songs. All that’s missing now is some Bachata Revenge from Aventura and Prince Royce!

Sure it seems like singer Bruno Mars just popped onto the scene, but believe it or not, he’s been making music onstage for over 20 years! Only when he started out, he was flossing star-studded jumpsuits and singing “Love Me Tender.” That’s right, way back in the early 90’s, Bruno built up quite a reputation as a pint-sized Elvis Presley impersonator!

The internet was buzzing this week with footage of a 6-year-old Bruno singing “Can’t Help Falling In Love” from the 1992 film, Honeymoon In Vegas. Not only that, clips have surfaced of a 4-year-old Mars being interviewed (in full costume) for a 1990 documentary called Viva Elvis.

So why no Elvis covers on his new Doo Wops & Hooligans album (which hit #3 on the Billboard Album Charts)? Well it’s clear that Bruno kept his love for old time rock n’ roll with his themes and titling, but perhaps he was trying to distance himself from the old image…for now.

Just from following his Tweets, it’s clear that Bruno still has a lot of love for Presley and we can easily see him doing some fun covers in the future. When a Twitter fan asked if he still emulates Elvis, Mars replied,

“Of Course! Every night before i sleep i look in the mirror and do the LIP and say to myself.. you still got it kid..”

Long live "The King!"

It looks like it’s going to be quite an eventful week for singer Bruno Mars. Not only is his highly-anticipated debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans getting released, but he was also hit with a serious cocaine charge.

We all got news of his Las Vegas bust a few weeks ago and now it looks like the consequences of that incident are coming into full view. Charged with possessing 2.6 grams of cocaine, Bruno could face a maximum of four years in prison!

Of course, we know celebs usually can work a plea deal and this being his first offense, it’s more likely that Mars will wind up having to pay a stiff fine. Nevertheless, according to the report Bruno (who was booked under his real name, Peter Hernandez) was pretty remorseful, confessing to officers that this was the first time he ever tried the drug.

But enough with the lows, how about some highs? Elektra Records is heavily hyping Bruno’s Doo-Wops release and the success of his chart-topping single, “Just The Way You Are.” In a statement, they said, “We congratulate Bruno Mars on his chart-topping success, and provide him with our full love and support.

With an album guest list that includes B.o.B. and Cee Lo from Gnarls Barkley, we have the feeling Doo-Wops will Doo just fine regardless.

Doo-Wops & Hooligans dropped this Tuesday (October 5).

Never let a mug shot get you down. After a much publicized arrest, Bruno Mars is making news again, this time by holding down the #1 single on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. His "Just The Way You Are" booted Katy Perry’s "Teenage Dream" from the top slot, proving itself to be one of the first big hits of fall.

Now the interesting question is, did his Las Vegas bust help give the track some leverage? It was already at #3 when he got booked earlier in the week, but there’s no denying that Bruno Mars web searches have gone through the roof since then.

Bruno (whose real name is Peter Hernandez) still hasn’t addressed the issue on Twitter, but did give a shout out to “Glee” for covering one of his tracks in their season premiere.

“You know you're doing something right when Glee Covers your song... Great Job guys Thank you!!”

We think Mars can easily put the negative stuff behind him as long as he stays focused. Thankfully the charges were a first time offense (unlike another recently busted celeb) and he’s still keeping up with all of his live appearances. The real test of his staying power will come on October 5, when his debut album, Doo-Woops & Hooligans, is released. Looking forward to hearing it, Bruno!
