WYY aren't the only guys gettin' decked out for court. Don Omar is getting the judicial smackdown too. Unlike Wisin y Yandel, who deny any wrongdoing in their plagiarism lawsuit, Don Omar has publicly confessed he knew about Nando Boom's song “Enfermo de Amor.” He will pay the Panamanian singer $100,000 for his faux pas. Wisin y Yandel are still claiming their innocence but Don Omar has embraced his mistake, saying “I want them to tell me how is it that they don’t remember that we all knew about the song?”

Upfronts are all the rage this week as TV networks are showcasing what’s in store for the new season. This week MTV Tr3s hosted their Upfront party at B.B. Kings in Times Square with Don Omar and Malverde as special guests. El Don along with his signature cornrows and blinged-out watch greeted the audience with a performance of his hits “Dale Don Dale,” “King of Kings,” “Canción De Amor” and a mix of his best tunes. No esposa in sight, but we’ll catch Don and Jackie together sooner or later! It was Malverde who brought the house down with some slam poetry which he then transitioned into his hit song “Este Camino.” Damn that Mal is smooth.

Last Friday, Don Omar went from urban artist to classic artist in his first ever unplugged performance in Puerto Rico. Does reggaeton mix well with orchestra music? Well in this case it did with all his hits remixed with violins and cellos minus the DJ.

The next day was his super sweet wedding with Jackie Guerrido at San Juan’s Ritz Carlton and from what we hear things went smoothly (guess no Jackie haters crashed the party). As promised, Ivy Queen was at the wedding along with Tito El Bambino but unfortunately Calle 13 and Wisin y Yandel were a no show. It looks like this wedding coverage is officially over. Everyone's talking about yesterday's Latin Billboard Awards show but the reggaeton stars were all talking about Don Omar's wedding la próxima semana con Jackie Guerrido. Ivy Queen said she'll be crying by Don Omar's madrecita, Toñita, when Jackie Guerrido walks down the aisle and Arcangel is still waiting for his invitación to the party! He's not worried though cause he says he's going to go to the party anyway since he "doesn't need an invitation." Tego Calderón had some sweet words for the soon-to-be married couple saying they make a great pair contrary to other people's opinion and is happy that his "socio" is moving forward with his life con Jackie. But it's all in good terms! El Cangri unfortunately had to decline Don Omar's invite because he's scheduled to perform a show in Bolivia that weekend. He has publicly congratulated the sexy couple, Don Omar y Jackie Guerrido, on their wedding so there's definitely no beef (anymore!) between the two. So far, 350 people have confirmed their spot at the Don's wedding on April 19 where guests will enjoy dining on gold utensils and hearing the sweet sounds of Gilberto Santa Rosa and Grupo Manía. The feud between Don Omar and Hector "El Father" is no secreto, but we just wanted to spotlight a recent quote from El Don on Hector's invite to his glorious wedding with Jackie Guerrido en Puerto Rico.

“De ninguna manera lo invitaré, ese nombre ya lo he borrado de mi memoria”

General translation? "In no way would I invite him. That name is gone from my memory." Hehe, well it looks like "El Father" may be missing out on this wedding fiesta. As for Daddy Yankee, this reggaetonero has got the invite since his reconciliation with the Don. [Blog Reggaeton]

Come April Don Omar will be saying his "I Do's" to his bella novia Jackie Guerrido but until then we're giving you all the dish before Puerto Rico's wedding of the year kicks off. First of all, despite what you guys may have read on the blogosphere, we've heard that el Don's pals, Wisin y Yandel, will not be performing en la boda, only attending. Such a shame, it would have been fun to see the guys jamming at the after party. Second, we're getting un poco feeling that some Don Omar fans are a little unhappy with his future wifey. We've read comments from fans calling her a gold digger to she's-only-with-him-cause-he's-famous. What we don't get is, why all the hate? Explain yourselves fanáticos!
