Askmen.com knew the deal and decided to prompt online users to vote on the Top 99 Women of 2009. Don't expect to see an around-the-way chick on this lista because this is all about Hollywood swagger! Eva Mendes' undeniable sex appeal and classic glamor owned the number one spot, but there were plenty of other Latinas that measured in as the most desirable beauties of the year (and no, J.Lo was not one of them).

Marking #15 was Jessica Alba. No doubt, her flawless figura and sultry sonrisa demands MILF attention.

We all know Latinas are the sexiest women in the world...

And FHM seems to think so too! The mag recently shouted-out this season's sexiest mujeres in their "Fall TV's Hottest Stars" list, which included three Latina actresses who have taken over prime-time with pleasure. Pint-sized actress, Eva Longoria hit the ten spot with her veteran swagger as Gabriele on "Desperate Housewives." She may have gotten knocked-up in this new season (and possibly in real life), but la chica has been known to heat-up Wisteria Lane with her affairs and romantic encounters.

Landing one notch ahead of Eva is "Heroes" superstar Dania Ramirez. The Dominicana may not have four years of prime-time action under her belt, but she is a pro at flexing her superpowers as the bad ass Maya Herrera. With the ability to cast deadly illnesses at anyone that crosses her path, Dania's character has proven that she should not be messed with!

Just like fictional mafia hija Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who stole the fifth spot on the sizzling list. The half-Cuban actress was out of commission after "The Sopranos" died-off, but the temptress is coming back for more as a guest star on the hit show "The Entourage." We can only imagine what the five fellas think of our bombshell.

Things should get quite interesting as movies like Bella, El Cantante, Illegal Tender, Love in the Time of Cholera and Tortilla Heaven all duke it out for the Outstanding Performance of a Lead Latino /a Cast in a Motion Picture Award.

See who wins, and most importantly what they wear during the 2008 ALMA Awards premiere this Friday, September 12th @ 9pm on ABC.

Kate del Castillo illuminated la noche by snagging the Imagen Award for "Best Actress" for the blockbuster hit "La Misma Luna" last night in Beverly Hills, California.

The organization dedicated to honoring Latino performers was shining bright for the dramatic film, which also won a total of five awards including "Best Picture." Luckily Kate wasn't the only estrella flexing her biceps on stage!

Beautiful Dominicana Dania Ramirez also won an award for "Best Supporting Actress" for her bad ass role in NBC's "Heroes."

The famous "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Milan represented his amor for canines by earning the award for "Best Reality Television Show."

And although dulce Selena Gomez was trumped by America Ferrera for the "Best Actress in Television" award, she still made magic in a blue Grecian-inspired dress.
