It's official, Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo is now a proud papa! The half-Mexican QB proudly posted pictures of his baby son today, alongside mommy Candice Crawford.

Arriving at 8 pounds, 8 ounces, Hawkins Crawford Romo entered the world early Monday morning. And seeing how he popped out during the off season, the little fella will get plenty of time to bond with daddy before the Cowboys take the field again.

The youngest Romo seemed very photogenic in the pic that was broadcast to the web. Appearing in a white cap and onesie, Hawkins got a loving embrace from both mom and dad.

Tony looked thrilled in the shot, smiling from ear-to-ear and placing his famous quarterback arm on his baby boy's chest. Several sports blogs have already nicknamed the little guy "The Hawk," which we imagine will look quite catchy on an NFL helmet in 2038.

We've got to admit, it's pretty cute the way Tony Romo revealed that he and his wife were expecting. Rather than leak it through a publicist or on a talk show, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback shared the news at a high school pep rally.

Speaking on the stage at Dallas' Cedar Hill High, Romo gave quite an interesting response when one of the students asked if he had children.

"Um, no, I don't have any kids," Romo sheepishly said to the crowd. "I've actually got one on the way. My wife's pregnant."

Obviously that led to huge applause and quite a scoop for football fans across the country.

Tony's spouse happens to be former Miss Missouri USA Candice Crawford. The two got married this past May and, judging how photogenic they are, we're sure they'll make a beautiful baby. Not only that, Romo's part Mexican, so it'll have some Latino blood too!

Dominican pop princesa Kat DeLuna showed fans she has more skills to "Whine Up" to this week when she sang the national anthem in Dallas.

Kat graced the stage on Monday September 15th (coincidentally the start of Hispanic Heritage month) to help kick-off the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles football game in Texas. Check out the clip of Kat Deluna singing and listen closely!
