2010 ignited the 3-D phenomenon for Television, but have you ever heard of an interactive concert? When Shakira takes her Tour of Earthly Delights across the pond this December, fans can look forward to an experience like never before!

La Loba has teamed up with Punchdrunk theatre's director Felix Barrett to design one of the first ever interactive concerts!

Shakira

Aimed at achieving a closer level of initimacy with fans, Barrett's immersive productions are known to allow the audience to choose what they watch and where they go.

Shaki told the The Daily Star what would happen behind the scenes:

“I’m going to be in the UK this December working with Felix. He’s one of those golden minds so I’m designing the show with him.  It’s going to have themes and there’ll be a lot of audience interaction.”

Barrett's previous theatre productions have allowed the audience to walk around the stage freely. Barrett explained:

“It is important to make the audience the most important aspect of theatre. They should have much more power than they have ever experienced before.”

The She Wolf seems to agree with Felix, adding:

“My live show will have a lot of that, a lot of dancing, a joie de vivre. I feel such freedom on stage. It’s such a rush to be performing. I like to see everybody’s faces on stage, to see the reaction. Normally you can only see the front row because of the lights. So you’ll see see a lot of the energy you saw during my Glastonbury Festival  appearance, but there are also going to be other moments that I hope are artistically energetic. I want people to feel things up close. My vibe is to gather different influences from all over and put them together with my own style.”

We love the sound of that!

What do you think of an interactive tour? Think it will catch on? Let us know below or @MTV3.

Ah Chicago peeps…how we envy you right now. Starting today (August 6), you get to experience Grant Park's massive Lollapalooza concert, featuring an awesome musical mix of both mainstream talent and hot up-and-comers.

For those who love the mass appeal artists, names like Lady Gaga, Green Day, and a reunited Soundgarden are not going to disappoint. But keep in mind, with over 100 bands, solo acts, and DJs set to perform, there’s a lot more to the 3-day concert than that!

Buried among the indie Danish rockers, French acoustic bands, and Canadian hip-hop stars, there are a slew of talented Latinos you should definitely keep your ears on. Here are a few that we’re extra excited about:

Cypress Hill
How could you not love the OG hip-hop unit Cypress Hill? They’ve been pumping out jams for over 20 years and have sold over 18 million albums worldwide. Plus, no matter how many decades go by, a live version of “Insane In The Brain” never gets old!

The Strokes
Another of the more mainstream bands performing, these guys broke the mold for indie rock back in the early 2000’s. Though not a full-blown Latino band, we’ve got mad love for Brazilian-born Fabrizio Moretti and the way he wails on those cymbals!

Los Amigos Invisibles
Straight from Venezuela, this six-piece ensemble delivers a smashing mix of disco, acid jazz, and funk! They’ve been putting out albums since the mid-‘90s which have led to massive critical acclaim, a Latin Grammy, and tours to virtually everywhere on the planet!

Mexican Institute Of Sound
One of the cool things about Lollapalooza is that there’s an entire stage devoted strictly to top notch DJs. Created by Mexico City-based producer Camilo Lara, MIS delivers bumpin electro-beats fused with folk, cumbia, and even accordion sounds!

Lollapalooza kicked off today (August 6) at 11a.m. at Grant Park and doesn't stop 'til 10p.m. Sunday with Soundgarden on the South Stage!

Make sure to check out MTV News' Lollapalooza Live, streaming Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m.!

For over a year, Bomba Estéreo has been an unstoppable touring machine. The band's debut album Blow Up dropped in 2009 to critical acclaim, and since then they've served their "electro vacilón" sound to packed shows across the country (and the world!).

MTV Iggy's "Best New Band In The World" recently kicked off their U.S. summer tour, which will culminate at the Bumbershoot Festival on September 9. When Team Blogamole heard that our hottest Descubre & Download band of 2009 was going to be in NYC, we had to catch them at Celebrate Brooklyn!, where they braved some scary thunder, suffocating heat and fatigue to give fans some real "Fuego"!

There's nothing like a hot summer night filled with great tunes! Lucky for us, Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Bandshell was wired with Latin music on Friday night (July 23).

Bomba Estereo

Primero en el escenario was BK’s own Navegante, led by Jean Shepherd of Puerto Rican and Peruvian descent. His electro funk rhythm had local fans dancing and singing along, though they were forced to keep it behind the barricades that held them about thirty feet from the stage.

Organizers had the front area reserved for VIP members, and there weren’t many of them there to fill up the space — unfortunately for Navegante, who could have had a nice crowd of dancers right at his feet.

Los que estaban ahi para ver a los rockeros puertoriqueños La Secta Allstar also had to sing along from a distance. The recipients of Premio Lo Nuestro’s 2010 award for best rock album of the year delighted the crowd with classics, including "Bombón de Azúcar," canción original de La Secta que fué prestada y llevada a la cultura pop por Ricky Martin.

Thunder and rain threatened to cancel the rest of the concert during intermission, scattering away some of the crowd, so that it was largely a Bomba Estéreo fan base left waiting for them. But the skies dried up, and by the time the Colombian group exploded on the scene, the hipster Latino mix of the BK audience was ready to join them for the ride.

Li, la voz de Bomba Estéreo, salió bailando dressed in a mesh see-through top, with gold 80’s style shorts, and a long scarf with black, gold, and silver etchings draped like a robe around her neck, cinched to the front of her waistline by the elastic in her shorts.

She was all a-glitter down to her silver shoes, bailando su electro cumbia con un suave movimiento de cadera que hipnotizaba la gente y los puso a todos de pie. By this time, the VIP area at the front of the stage had a nice crowd filling it up and dancing with her.

By now, you’ve probably heard about the many entertainers — both Latino and mainstream — que se han unido en apoyo a los residentes inmigrantes de Arizona como parte del Sound Strike. The initiative, started by Zack de la Rocha, is an agreement by celebs who refuse to perform in the state as long as the controversial new bill SB 1070 is enforced.

Since Arizona’s bill will officially go into effect on July 29th, Rage Against the Machine is performing for The Sound Strike this Friday (July 23rd) at the Hollywood Palladium, as part of a “Stop SB 1070 Benefit Show.” This will be RATM’s first Los Angeles concert in the past ten years!

RATM

Proceeds are to provide resources for activist organizations looking to overturn the legislation and provide legal defense for Arizona residents.

Among the celebs joining the Arizona boycott are Miami-based alternative fusion rockers Locos Por Juana. We spoke to them at this year’s Latin Alternative Music Conference, and here’s what they had to say about SB1070 and joining The Sound Strike:

There was definitely a consensus among the artists at this year's LAMC that immigration reform is necessary, but they also agreed that Arizona’s SB 1070 is not the answer.

As we've reported before, Zack de la Rocha's Sound Strike campaign against Arizona's SB 1070 law is picking up tons of steam. Artists like Pitbull, Nine Inch Nails, and Cypress Hill have all joined the boycott, and now another famous band may be joining the mix... his own!

In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Zack mentioned a series of protest concerts he was organizing that may feature his old band, Rage Against the Machine!

RATM

"In the coming weeks we are going to be organizing a series of concerts that are respectful of the nature of the boycott in its attempts to isolate the Arizona government but not isolate the people, and especially the organizations that are fighting this on the ground." He made point to say that "there's a strong chance Rage Against the Machine will play one or more of the concerts."

Since breaking up in 2000, Rage has yet to release a new album. They did kick off a U.S. reunion tour in 2007, but the last time they headlined stateside was back in 2008. So seeing the original gang of Zack, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford would be a huge treat for fans!

Not only that, it would bring even more attention and media coverage to this controversial cause. With the amount of A-list support that Zack's assembled for the Sound Strike boycott, we can't even IMAGINE how incredible it would be for them to play together for a concert series.

There are two things sure to unite people: good music and competitive sports! The FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert delivered on half of that equation today (June 10) and will be sure to provide the latter on Friday (June 11), beginning at 10 AM ET on ESPN2!

Juanes

The worlds biggest stars, including Juanes, Shakira, The Black Eyed Peas, and Alicia Keys filled the 40,000-seat Orlando Stadium in Soweto/Johannesburg, South Africa, giving once in a lifetime performances.

Juanes at 2010 World Cup

The concert respectfully began with an introduction speech by the President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, and FIFA President, Sepp Blatter. Both addressed the fact that this is the first World Cup played on African soil and that the program is dedicated to “1 Goal Education For All”, a campaign using the power of futbol to provide a lasting educational impact.

Then, they exited the stage and the party began!

Black Eyed Peas

First up: The Black Eyed Peas. The band didn't disappoint with their futuristic, whimsical costumes and powerhouse set. Hit songs “Where is the Love” and “Meet me Halfway” carried the trio as they stood around for most of their time on stage, but they seemed to gain momentum during “I Gotta a Feeling,” when they seemed to get their second wind. We must admit, we couldn't help wondering if they were able to valet their spaceship outside of the venue!

We've got a clip of Juanes' performance, plus a recap of the entire concert, after the jump!

Not only did MTV recently release some hair-raising new photos from the upcoming película, pero MTV News is also rolling out some exclusive entrevistas with the cast of 'New Moon,' starting con la linda Ashley Greene y el guapísimo Kellan Lutz.

If you thought that the cast of 'New Moon' was too cool for 'Twilight' merchandise, guess again, porque Ashley revealed that she not only owns a few camisetas, pero she's also a champ at the Twilight trivia game!

"I have a couple shirts. I have a couple things from "Twilight" that I want to keep as memorabilia, and so I have a couple shirts. I definitely have the necklace. While filming, Kellan bought the "Twilight" game, and we played. We made Xavier [Samuel] play it, the poor new kid. We were like, "The new kid will play!" and so we had Xavier come over and Peter Facinelli came over. Me and him and those two guys and Kellan played the "Twilight" game. And I won. I'm just saying. No big deal."
