It seems like Christina Milian can't escape the lure of television these days. Outside of being linked to a new sitcom, the pop star has just signed on to be a social media correspondent for NBC's The Voice.

Milian will be replacing last year's correspondent Alison Haislup and work towards, as the network put it, "bridging the gap between on-air and online." We actually think Christina will make a great fit, particularly since she has such a strong presence on Twitter.

Just this week, Milian happily tweeted about the new gig, saying,

"I'm officially your eyes and ears behind and beyond the stage for The Voice so if you're a major fan you may wanna follow me!"

And in case you're wondering, The Voice’s other Christina has yet to comment on the news. But with all those guy judges around, we’re sure she’ll enjoy some female companionship on the set.

It's hard to believe that summer ever stops in Las Vegas. With its blaring desert heat, people can literally wear skimpy clothes all year long. But as October winds down, the Palazzo resort has now ended its weekend pool parties. And this past Saturday, Christina Milian made headlines as the hostess of their final Azure bikini bash.

"Las Vegas!!!!! I'm Back!" Milian tweeted before the fiesta. “@AzureLuxuryPool @PalazzoLasVegas PRESENTS THE END OF THE SEASON PARTY HOSTED BY ME!!! Today!! See you there :)"

The Palazzo definitely got their money’s worth when they hired Christina. Looking gorgeous in a Victoria's Secret two-piece, the pop diva danced with the crowd, took control of the DJ booth, and brought a ton of her sexy friends to the event.

Milian also posted some very sexy Twitpix of herself and kept followers up-to-date on all of her Vegas adventures. And how did Christina spend her big Saturday night after Azure? Let's just say it wasn't as action-packed as you might expect.

"How to do Vegas Mommy Style.. Late night watching "Elmo in Grouchland" w Violet echoing every line of the movie. #BabyRockstar Gotta Love it," she posted.

L.A. restaurant Mexicali has quite a lot of 'splaining to do. The Mexican eatery has gotten in trouble with So Cal's Department of Health after Christina Milian discovered a piece of used chewing gum in her Kobe beef salad!

The Cuban-American pop star was quite livid when speaking to TMZ about the incident. Apparently she was biting into a leafy vegetable mix when she got a gross spearmint-flavored surprise.

Milian told the site that she quickly ran to the restaurant's bathroom and threw up after the incident. For the record, Mexicali did apologize and comp her meal, but it was too little too late.

Christina has already filed an official complaint and has sworn off dining out for a very long time.

"The most important thing to me is to make sure my health is okay," Milian said. "Ever since the incident I have not eaten out!"

Ahh summer 2011, we hardly knew you. Now the leaves will turn, the days will shorten, and we'll be stuffing our face with a lot more pumpkin pie. But before waving goodbye to the Sie7e beach jams and fun movie escapes, we had one more glorious holiday known as Labor Day weekend. Hopefully you made the most of your Monday off, because it's clear that our favorite celebrities did.

Christina Milian spent her Labor Day partying it up in Las Vegas. The paparazzi snapped her wearing a zebra bikini top at the Palms Resort. As a special guest of Diddy's casino pool party, she seemed to be all smiles lounging in the sun.

Over in Malibu, CA, tons of celebs dropped by the beach town's local carnival. Pink made an appearance with hubby Corey Hart and her adorable three-month-old daughter. Seen laughing, smiling, and nibbling on a Sno-Cone, the "So What" singer rode the Funhouse multiple times.

Nicole Richie was spotted there as well, with lookalike daughter Harlow in tow. Though Richie didn't brave quite as many rides as Pink, she seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the carnival games and petting zoo.

Victoria Beckham made a big appearance at L.A.'s outdoor Grove mall on Saturday. Followed by tons of paparazzi cameras, the former Spice Girl took her newborn daughter Harper out for a "stroll".

Tabloid cameras also got a glimpse of Will Smith over the weekend, hanging without wife Jada Pinkett-Smith. The Men In Black star was spotted with a set of nine irons on a So Cal golf course. The Mrs. meanwhile, hit the Twitterverse to confirm news about her cable show's cancellation.

"Hey everyone…if you don't know Hawthorne will not be returning for another season. I want to say thank you to all the fans for being Hawthorne soldiers. All our facebook fans…twitter soldiers and viewers…you held us down. Of course you know there is more to come…believe it!", she posted.

Hawthorne regular Marc Anthony was nowhere to be seen, but his ex J. Lo didn't take any time to rest over Labor Day weekend. She made a very publicized appearance on the annual MDA Telethon, helping the muscular dystrophy organization raise over $60 million.

She's done big budget movies, she's scored platinum albums, but one thing that Christina Milian has never tried is headlining her own TV show. That is, until now. The 29-year-old pop star is ready to make her primetime debut with the new ABC Family series, Maid In Miami.

Mixing elements of humor, drama, and music, Maid will center around a young Florida housekeeper who dreams of becoming a singer. We're assuming Christina will be playing the lead, which means she'll have plenty of opportunities to flex her vocal chops.

And judging from the credits, Maid In Miami should have some great songs. Adam Anders, the musical producer from Glee, has signed on as a consultant. The producing duo from the Lifetime sitcom Rita Rocks are also on board, which means that comedy is certain to play a big part as well.

Maid In Miami is still in the very early stages of production, but should hopefully be up and running within the next several months. We'd love to see Christina every week on the small screen. And who knows? There may even be a part for little Violet too!

Ok all you reality show gamblers, it's time to place your bets. Very soon execs from Dancing With The Stars will be announcing their cast for season 13 and gossip sites are buzzing about which famous faces will be busting a move. Interestingly, Christina Milian and Snooki are two names on the top of the list.

Honestly, both Christina and Snooks seem a little too high-profile for the show. As we all remember, last season was littered with D-listers (who the hell was Psycho Mike?). Snooki happens to be pulling quite a lot of cash on Jersey Shore and Milian's still very much in the public eye, so we imagine they would each have to receive a pretty generous offer to compete.

Other lower-profile names floating around include Rob Kardashian (Kim's little brother) and Hope Solo (fresh from the Women's World Cup). We could actually see both of them taking on the challenge, especially if they're looking to raise their notability factor.

But Snooki and Christina? We're still not sure. Nevertheless, the new DWTS season is set to kick off in September. So if the ladies are agreeing to the deal, you can bet we'll find out within the next few weeks.

All of us had someone special we were thinking about yesterday. Whether it was a sister, a wife, or your very own mom, the appeal of Mother's Day is universally felt. And one place that became a hotbed of love was the twitterverse, where trending topics, hashtags, and twitpix were all centered around madres. Several famous faces got into the act too, posting their own personalized shout outs.

"Happy Mother’s to all you SuperWomen out there!" Christina Milian tweeted.

Smurfs’ star Neil Patrick Harris wrote,

"Happy Mother’s Day everyone! I’m very lucky to have a mom I respect and love. Sheila, I’m super proud to be your son."

Jessica Alba spread her Mother’s Day love to the up-and-coming hopscout organization. Built upon celebrating your "inner child," it’s clear the mommy-friendly business touched the heart of the 30-year-old actress.

"Happy mother’s day, @hopscout moms!"she wrote. "We love you all!"

Demi Lovato obviously has a very close relationship with her mother. Not only did she post a very cute twitpic of the two of them, she wrote several consecutive tweets praising "MommyLovato" (a statement that actually turned into a Twitter trend) and her ongoing support.

"My mom surprised me with [a "Stay Strong" tattoo] when I was in treatment because that’s how all you guys were showing support. And she wanted to show me how proud she was of me for getting help and changing my life…I love her so much," she posted.

Perhaps the celebs that attracted the most Mother’s Day attention were the Kardashian sisters. Throughout the week, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney had been tweeting about the traditional Armenian breakfast they planned on cooking for mama Kris. Called Beeshee, it is supposed to be quite the delicacy and not the easiest dish to make.

"We make it the night before," Kourtney explained Saturday night. "The dough has to rise, and then we all go to my mom’s and eat it in the morning."

And, of course, what Twitter recap would be complete without bringing up a post from "The Biebs." Justin definitely made sure his mom (who’s also on Twitter) received quite a bit of virtual love on Sunday morning.

"#HappyMothersDay to all the moms out there and especially mine. @Studiomama I love you and thank you for always being there. Im a lucky guy."

It’s May, which means the warm months are just about upon us. And for the paparazzi, this season can be a tabloid goldmine. As the stars don their bikinis and speedos, you can bet the celebrity photographers will be there capturing every chisme moment. Recently, some incredible shots of Christina Milian popped up, showing off her tight and tan summer bod!

Photographed in South Beach alongside her adorable daughter Violet, Milian proved to the world that she’s in phenomenal post-pregnancy shape. Sporting a sexy brown-striped two piece, the 29-year-old pop princess was seen laughing, smiling, and splashing around in the Miami surf.

14-month-old Violet appeared to be enjoying herself quite a bit too. Christina dressed her up in a very cute red and white beach ensemble, complete with an oversized sun hat. From the pix it was clear that Violet loved the crisp blue ocean and soft mushy sand.

Though most celebs would be annoyed at having their bikini pix posted online, Christina didn’t seem to mind one bit (and why should she with that amazing bod!). In fact, she even sent out a twitpic herself, showing off just how much fun mommy and daughter had on their beach day.

Usually we’re happy when separated couples get back together, but hearing about Christina Milian hooking up with The-Dream is a different story. Last summer he publicly cheated on her, humiliating the then-pregnant pop star. So when Hello Beautiful reported that the two were seen making out in Vegas over the weekend, we weren’t sure whether to be happy or apprehensive.

When speaking with Latina magazine in January, Milian admitted that she’d been “to hell and back” dealing with the high-profile divorce. There were ruthless court battles, custody issues, and some vitriolic tweets from friends of The-Dream.

“I hope Christina Milian baby don't get her toes...so many corns on them mothafucka's they should come with chicken and mashed potatoes!!!” rapper The Game posted earlier in the year.

So after all of that, it really seemed impossible to think that Christina and her ex would get back together. But apparently that’s exactly what happened. Visiting Sin City for the 10th Annual Michael Jordan Invitational, Milian spent her Saturday night publicly smooching The-Dream at the casino in the Wynn Hotel.

Though Christina never actually confirmed the hookup, there were plenty of witnesses on hand. And Milian did post an interesting tweet after the weekend wrapped up.

“Good ole Vegas, the city that never sleeps.”

Let’s hope she takes the attitude of what happens in the Wynn Hotel stays in the Wynn Hotel.

It’s hard to believe it's already February, a month dedicated to celebrating love, Lincoln's birthday and African-American achievement. In honor of Black History Month, we wanted to recognize a few of our favorite Afro-Latinos.

Carmelo Anthony: We're actually giving double points to Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony. Not only is he Afro-Latino, but so is his wife La La Vazquez! Born to a Puerto Rican father and an African-American mother, Carmelo's a superstar on and off the court. We already know how much Denver fans love him, but his contributions stretch way beyond that city. In his hometown of Baltimore, Anthony has donated millions of dollars to help build youth centers for underprivileged children.

Alex Cuba: Born Alex Puentes on the island of Cuba, this is one artist you want on your radar. Whether he’s engaging us with insightful interviews, wailing on the electric guitar or picking up Latin Grammys, Alex is destined for musical stardom. His 2009 Alex Cuba album is a must for any fan of Latin, jazz, funk or African rhythms.

Christina Milian: Milian was actually born Christina Flores to Afro-Cuban parents. A talented singer, actress, dancer and model, Christina has been a Tr3s fave for years. This year she's expected to bring her fourth studio album, which may include some emotional lyrics about her breakup with The-Dream. But aside from all of that, Milian is a great role model for young Afro-Latinas, lending her time and name to such causes as Children Uniting Nations.

Tatyana Ali: Many people were surprised to find out that Tatyana was half Panamanian. For six seasons she played African-American Ashley Banks on Will Smith's The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air show, before branching out into a successful R & B career. She’s also a Harvard grad and a recurring lead on The Young and the Restless.
