We're not sure what was more newsworthy about Christina Aguilera's appearance at Etta James' funeral this weekend; her impassioned performance of "At Last" or the fake tan drip oozing down her legs!
There is no denying that Xtina pulled off an incredible performance of James' signature song. And, for the most part, that's what the media paid the most attention to.
"Etta James was the one who cut right to my soul and spoke to me," Aguilera said before breaking into "At Last." "So tonight Etta, this song is for you."
But, it seems the chisme blogs were still able to take a few jabs at Christina. Photographers snapped fake tanner fluid running down the singer's legs during the procession. Videographers even caught Aguilera attempting to wipe the fluid away with her jacket.
Perhaps Xtina would have been better off consulting some orange-faced pros before stepping up to the mic.

With her newfound success on The Voice, now seems like an ideal time for Christina Aguilera to push out a new album (especially when you consider the failure of 2010's Bionic). And that's exactly what the pop diva is planning to do, with a new release that will supposedly get her back to her "roots."
"I'm recording my next album right now, and I'm really excited because I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life," Xtina recently said. "I've learned so much. It's a journey of growth for me, continuously throughout my career. I'm excited to put it all down on paper through my lyrics and my voice."
Clearly she's had quite a few "life experiences" in the past two years. Since her last record, Aguilera's split from hubby Jordan Bratman, found a new man, and dealt with harsh criticism for her ongoing weight gain.
That would all make for some great lyrics if you ask us. And if there's one thing Christina's known for, it's her honest songwriting. Her Stripped album drew major praise for its bold statements. Let's hope she can capture "magic in a bottle" once again with this upcoming release.

Last week, Christina Aguilera was "supposed" to be on a promotional tour for season two of The Voice. But of course, questions soon became focused on her growing physique. Proudly smiling for the press, Xtina claimed to be "very proud" of her voluptuous figure.
"Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny," she said. "As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need."
There is no denying that Aguilera has filled out quite a bit since her last media appearance. And the 30-year-old star wasn't afraid to flaunt it, stepping out in a very revealing zebra-print dress.
Xtina went on to say how her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, fully embraces her expanding curves.
"I have a boyfriend that loves my body," she added. "I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters."

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue and queen of pop Madonna will sing together for the first time to mark Kylie's 25th anniversary in music! British TV station ITV is in the works for a star-studded special to commemorate the Kylie's career, with a spectacular finale bringing together the two divas of pop.
Many of us have only been dreaming for the moment when these two Music Powerhouses would join forces and WOW us like never before. Well the time has finally come to make this dream come true!
According to the Mirror's Dean Pipier, Kylie Minogue has huge plans for 2012 to celebrate her 25 years in the music industry, including the dream duet with Madonna.
"PLEASE let this come true!" writes Pipier. His source told him: "There will be lots of duets. The plan so far is for a duet with her sister Dannii, Jason Donovan and a finale featuring a duet with MADONNA."
Madge has done duets with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake and Ricky Martin, while Kylie has collaborated with Robbie Williams, Nick Cave and former Neighbours beau Jason Donovan.
Madonna and Kylie are both fans of each other's work. Kylie has mentioned that Madonna has been an influence on her music, and both have been seen wearing T-shirts featuring the other's name.

Say what you will about Christina Aguilera, she's definitely proven herself to be a savvy businesswoman. And now it appears she's carrying on that tradition, with the release of her new Secret Potion scent just in time for the holidays.
Aguilera even recorded a timely promo video encouraging her fans to "smell their best" at upcoming family gatherings.
"If you're looking for a new way to feel gorgeous and glamorous this season, try my fragrance, Secret Potion," she happily says to the camera. "It will make you shine at all the holiday parties."
We have to admit, Xtina does make a compelling pitchwoman. The only problem is, she's going to have quite a lot of competition in the celebrity scent department. Jennifer Aniston, Shakira, and Selena Gomez all have new fragrances they’re hoping will go in your holiday shopping bag too!

There is no denying that 2011 was the year of the Tweet. The hashtag social network had a major spike in popularity and was even responsible for breaking a few news stories. But are you curious as to what buzzwords got the most attention? Well guess no longer, Twitter has now released its annual Hot Topic list, which happens to include a few famous Latinos.
On the movie side of things, the 2011 Hot Topics all seemed to be based around comic book flicks. Films like Thor, The Dark Knight Rises, and X-Men: First Class dominated the list. But it’s also interesting to note that The Green Hornet (featuring Cameron Diaz) and Fast Five (with Elsa Pataky) scored high too, proving that sexy Latinas strike a very strong chord in the Twitterverse.
In the music realm, Rebecca Black (who's part Latina) was the number one Tweeted topic. Britney Spears showed she still has plenty of staying power with a #3 ranking for Femme Fatale. You've got to wonder if that massively successful Mexico concert contributed to her continuous stream of Tweets.
Names like Jennifer Lopez and Charlie Sheen dominated the Celebrity Hot Topics, along with several stars who have passed on. Elizabeth Taylor proved to be the most popular female celeb, followed not to far behind by fallen Jackass alum, Ryan Dunn.
In the sports world, teams like the Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks stirred up a flurry of activity. And so did Spanish soccer star, Fernando Torres. Interestingly, on the Hot Topics futbol list, Torres ranked higher than both Lionel "Leo" Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Curious about the most posted hashtags of 2011? Twitter went global for this one. #Egypt was by far the most popular, representing the civil unrest that happened there earlier in the year. #Japan ranked in the Top 5 too, as did #ThreeWordsToLiveBy and the Charlie Sheen catchphrase, #TigersBlood.
And, as a bonus, Hispanically Speaking compiled a list of the most famous Latinos to open Twitter accounts in 2011. That would be Christina Aguilera (who signed on in March), Eva Mendes (who joined in October), and good ol' Charlie Sheen, who's gathered 5.8 million followers in just nine months!
What topics did you Tweet about most this year? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

Ever since she took the stage in that revealing dress at the AMA's, Christina Aguilera has been plagued with pregnancy rumors. Yes she looked curvier than normal, but could the Burlesque beauty really be expecting?
Absolutely not a source close to her told Radar Online. Xtina's unnamed ally has vehemently denied the baby rumors, even going so far as to call her a "proud curvy Latina!"
"She is 100% NOT pregnant!" the source said. "She wore a tight fitting dress and that's all. Christina loves her curves. She's a Latina woman with curves and since when is it not ok to have curves?"
Radar’s tipster even called Aguilera a "role model" for full-figured Latinas. While we're not so sure about that statement, we are happy to know that Xtina isn't expecting just yet. Because we'd hate to have her take a maternity leave and miss out on The Voice season 2!

This weekend, music fans were treated to another memorable awards show with the 2011 AMAs. Outside of some lively performances from Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, and Enrique Iglesias, the event featured big wins for Taylor Swift and a JLo outfit that got the gossip blogs buzzing.
Swift probably received the most attention of the night, taking home Artist of the Year, Country Female Artist, and Country Album. Fresh off her CMA sweep, Taylor seemed to be quite overwhelmed by her monster victory.
"I want to thank my band and my crew and the fans for filling up stadiums," said an emotional Swift from the stage. "And my mom and my dad and my brother who came with me tonight, and my fans who continue to amaze me."
Adele didn't do too bad either, earning the night’' Adult Contemporary Artist award as well as Pop/Rock Female Artist. Nicki Minaj (who delivered an incredible live rendition of "Turn Me On" with David Guetta) scored two AMAs herself, for Rap/Hip-Hop Album and Rap/Hip-Hop Artist.
And the AMAs made sure to honor a few Latinos too. Bruno Mars won for Pop/Rock Male Artist and JLo got the Latin Music Artist trophy. Lopez, in particular, attracted a ton of coverage for her revealing bodysuit. At 42-years-old, she flaunted a near perfect body during her performance of "Papi."
Jennifer did get a little bit of heat from the critics though, for bringing out a Fiat car during her live set. Many felt that the move was a blatant form of advertising (Lopez is currently a Fiat spokesperson) and thought it cheapened her performance.
And though they didn't take home awards, Tr3s faves Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Christina Aguilera made their presence known too. Enrique was backed up by a full-blown marching band for a lively rendition of "I Like How It Feels." Pit joined JLo for her second song of the night, "On The Floor," and Xtina and Adam Levine rocked the house with their hit duet "Moves Like Jagger."
Other highlights included tributes to Heavy D, a Justin Bieber/David Hasselhoff appearance, and will.i.am debuting his new track, "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)." But as lively as it was, the 2011 AMAs failed to make a major dent with viewers. Last night's show scored a dismal 1.3/3 ratings share, marking an all-time American Music Award low.

It seems like Christina Milian can't escape the lure of television these days. Outside of being linked to a new sitcom, the pop star has just signed on to be a social media correspondent for NBC's The Voice.
Milian will be replacing last year's correspondent Alison Haislup and work towards, as the network put it, "bridging the gap between on-air and online." We actually think Christina will make a great fit, particularly since she has such a strong presence on Twitter.
Just this week, Milian happily tweeted about the new gig, saying,
"I'm officially your eyes and ears behind and beyond the stage for The Voice so if you're a major fan you may wanna follow me!"
And in case you're wondering, The Voice’s other Christina has yet to comment on the news. But with all those guy judges around, we’re sure she’ll enjoy some female companionship on the set.
