The alleged confrontation between Chris Breezy and RiRi came coincidentally a few days after National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Week, a three-week-old effort to get warning signs about violence out to young people (16-24) in relationships.

We learned from the Texas Council on Family Violence that 75 percent of Texans age 16-24 who were surveyed during the awareness week reported experiencing dating violence or knew someone who had. Being that Texas has a huge Latino population, this continues to be a major concern for our comunidad.

Four days have passed since the reports hit airwaves...

But the Rihanna and Chris Brown news story is still the most talked about noticia out there. The "Disturbia" singer's abuelita, Clara Brathwaite confirmed that her granddaughter is doing fine considering the circumstances, while Chris' endorsement deals with Milk and Wrigley's Gum have been tanked. Although Brown's fate won't be determined until his court date on March 5th, fans already have their judgments in the matter. MTV News just released new dramatic developments involving Rihanna and Chris Brown's rumored domestic violence incident. We reported on the alleged attack that took place on Sunday, but an unidentified police officer has confirmed that Rihanna was the victim in the case and also described her injuries as 'horrific.' We have all heard the chisme by now...

Several reports are suggesting that Rihanna and Chris Brown canceled their Grammy performances due to an alleged physical altercation. According to TMZ, the "Disturbia" singer was attacked by her novio, but the LAPD refuse to release details found in the police report. Despite tight security on the information, the entertainment site also claims that the crime was reported under Rihanna's real name, Robyn Fenty.

Prior to the Grammy's taking-off, word hit la calle that Chris Brown turned himself in and was charged for felony battery. He was later released in $50,000 bail and reports suggest that he was carrying a lethal weapon. In addition, MTV News reports that the police on the scene noticed that the woman 'suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.'

The dynamic pop duo are back!

Rihanna and David Bisbal surprised fans during a concert in la capital over the weekend. The "Disturbia" and "Todo Por Ustedes” singers performed a live duet of their bilingual summer jam, “Hate That I Love You.” Riri may have been shocked by David's movimientos, but the 15,000 fanáticos in the crowd (and las chavas) were definitely feeling the testosterone.
