Could Madonna be getting a taste of her own "bad girl" medicine? We all remember how much the Material Girl pushed the envelope back in the day and now it looks like her 15-year-old daughter Lourdes is following suit…much to mama's dismay.
Her half-Cuban hija was recently spotted smoking a cigarette after school. And, as she told NBC, Madonna was not happy about the incident.
"I think I need to be maybe tougher, but it's hard, though. Every day is a negotiation," she said. "I don't approve of anyone smoking cigarettes, most of all my daughter."
But Madge did seem to take it all in stride. We're thinking Lourdes will grow out of her smoking habit once she gets through those difficult teen years. But if she starts wearing skin tight lingerie, then it may be time to be concerned.

Bollywood starlet Meenakshi Thapar was killed and beheaded in an extortion plot led by two fellow actors, Amit Jaiswal and lover Preeti Surin.
Thapar had starred in an Indian horror film, 404, last year with the two actors. They decided to kidnap her after she boasted one too many times about her family's status and wealth back in the Himalayan foothills of India. The two actors invited her on a trip to Gorakhpur to visit some Buddhist temples, then held her hostage for 1,500,000 Rupees (about $29,000)
Jaiswal and Surin blackmailed her Nepali parents to pay up, or they would make Thapar star in pornographic films. Her mother paid them 60,000 Rupees up front, but she was killed soon afterwards. Thapar was strangled, beheaded, and dumped in two different sites by her kidnappers. Her head was thrown our a bus window and her torso dumped in a water tank.
Thapar's killers were soon caught, after fleeing to Mumbai. They were found with her mobile phone, and they confessed to the murder. A detective leading the investigation explained,
"We are still investigating the case and both the accused along with a police team are visiting the crime spot. We have yet to recover the body. They wanted to extort money from her family. They have confessed to the crime. She was strangulated in a hotel and her body was hacked into pieces and thrown in a water tank. They threw her head from a moving bus while traveling back to Mumbai."

A Canadian online predator has been posing as Justin Bieber to lure unsuspecting girls into sexual acts. Toronto-based Lee Moir, 34, coerced a 12-year old girl into performing online sex acts after convincing her he was the pop star himself.
Moir was apprehended after police posed as a teenage girl to trick him into meeting up. John Laurino, a prosecutor in the case, said the female victim believed she was corresponding with Justin Bieber and having a relationship with him, after exchanging some emails with the online predator.
Laurino explained,
"He began making demands that she show herself on camera, that she engage in sex acts of undress, and acts of sexual activity as well."
Toronto Police Constable Victor Kwong added that after Moir got the victim to engage in the acts, "he then extorted her by saying he was going to post these onto pornographic websites."
Moir may have been in contact with several girls from the US, Canada, France, the Philippines, and Australia, through Facebook and ooVoo, a video chat site. Officials believe he went by Lee Oneel, Lee Moir, YodaYoda01, and Justy.Beber1. He is being charged with luring, manufacturing child pornography, extortion.

Ever wanted to know how much money your favorite stars made way back when? It seems Parade has gotten the inside scoop. In their annual "What People Earn" issue, the weekly mag added a special section showing the drastic salary increases many celebs have gone through since their early days in the biz.
One lady who's earning power skyrocketed this year is Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins. Back in 1991, she was taking home $31,000 a year as a television writer for Nickelodeon. Now as the creator of Katniss Everdeen, her annual profits net her a cool $10 million!
We all know that Albert Pujols scored a humongous payday when he signed on to the Angels’ roster. But did you know how much made back in 2000 as a third baseman for the Peoria Chiefs? Just $2,750 a year, a sliver of his earning potential today.
Everybody knows that Ryan Seacrest rakes it in hosting American Idol (to the tune of $15 million a year). But when he was a local L.A. DJ back in 1995, his annual salary was less than $11,000!
Curious about what Chilean-born Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi made when she first signed on for Jersey Shore? Just $45,000, a far cry from the $1.6 million she earns today. But judging by the massive exposure she brings to MTV, we imagine she's worth the extra pocket change.
Struggling actors take note. Long before Jon Hamm nabbed his $2.3 million Mad Men salary, he was waiting tables in L.A. to the tune of $14,000 a year. Carrie Underwood (who now makes $20 million annually) also served food during her early 20's, taking home roughly $16,000 in tips.
Even the Commander-in-Chief couldn't escape the Parade list. Yes Barack Obama got a mention too, comparing his 1997 $46,000 salary as a Chicago Senator to his current $400,000 net as Mr. Prez. Quite interesting when you consider he makes less than most reality stars.
The Parade list goes on and on and actually delves even deeper into average U.S. salaries. It's certainly an interesting snapshot of the economy at large and may be a useful tool in helping decide which field you may want to pursue.

Sharon Osbourne was never one to bite her tongue, and she's proving that by sharing thoughts on her America's Got Talent boss, Simon Cowell. Sharon says that whatever Simon says about Sharon in a new biography are proof that the television host exhibits "small penis syndrome."
Sharon said, pointing to her crotch,
"He's wealthy, he's powerful, he's creative, he's got everything... but you can't buy the goods."
Oh, leave it to the Brits to be so cheeky. What prompted Sharon's comment? Cowell apparently had a few things to say about the red-headed fireball in a new biography by Tom Bower, Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell.
Simon claimed Osbourne left the UK X Factor show because she was upset Simon had an affair with a former co-star, Dannii Minogue. Osbourne said she didn't really care who Simon dated, and that was not the reason she left the show.
Sharon dished,
"I left because I didn't like that girl (Minogue). I didn't like working (with her), and it was a time when I was newly over my cancer, and I promised myself I would never be in a situation (where) I was not 100 percent happy. And I had to live in England six months of the year, and I was away from my family. I thought, 'When it's not fun, you go.' It wasn't fun, and I just went."
Sharon speculates the reason Simon talked to Bower about her in his book was to stroke his own ego. Sharon continued,
"He likes to glamorize, he loves attention, he loves all the publicity he's getting, and the thing is, nobody leaves Simon, he fires you. So when you leave of your own accord, he doesn't like that. Because he's the power, he's the big fish, so he has to fire you."
Osbourne also mentioned these were her statements, and "not the opinion of CBS... this is the opinion of Mrs. O." She added that she is not worried about her role working on her current primetime gig, Simon's America's Got Talent. Oh Sharon, you cheeky monkey, you!
What juicy bits would you want to read about in Simon's biography?

It seems like just yesterday we were introduced to baby Suri, Tom Cruise's and Katie Holmes' tiny little princess. Suri turned 6 yesterday, April 18, and she looked just as fabulous as ever doing it.
Katie and Suri were photographed leaving their Manhattan apartment to attend a performance of Newsies: The Musical on Broadway, a birthday treat fit for a celebrity, no doubt. Suri's favorite musicals are Wicked and Mary Poppins, so she is no stranger to the arts.
Ever since we saw Suri sport those heels some years ago, we knew she would be a fashionista. Her birthday outfit consisted of a candy-striped pink tutu dress and silver ballet flats, making it the perfect daytime outfit. You don't think Suri would be walking about in New York city in heels for her birthday outings, do you? We didn't think so.
Katie had to look good to match her daughter's stylish ensemble, of course. Tom was not present for the birthday outing, but was filming a movie in Louisiana.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Suri!
What would you like to do in Manhattan on your birthday?

New Year's Eve will be forever changed. Dick Clark, legendary television host, is dead today at 82, leaving behind a legacy. Family members confirmed he suffered a heart attack the morning of April 18.
The former disk jockey first made it big back in the day when he hosted American Bandstand, a dance show for teenagers. He described the show in the simple words,
"I played records, the kids danced, and America watched."
American Bandstand became one of ABC's longest running shows, introducing such legends as Buddy Holly, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. Clark later began to produce his own game shows, like $25,000 Pyramid and TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes, quickly becoming a household television show icon.
He was given the nickname of "the world's oldest teenager," due to his handsome youthful looks. Dick became a link between the rebellious music scene and the tried and true show business establishment.
Clark's landmark show, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, became a tradition every year on December 31. People would gather around the television to watch the ball drop and have Clark introduce the different acts.
Clark's health has been on the down-slide since suffering a stroke in 2004. Ryan Seacrest took over his New Year's gig shortly after that, with Dick joining him from time to time. Clark's last appearance on the show was last year in 2011. He died a few months later during an outpatient procedure at Santa Monica's St. John's Hospital.
Clark will forever be a television show icon, remembered for hosting pageants and game shows, and being in our living rooms during the celebration of every new year. He will remain a timeless symbol of celebration and fame. In the familiar parting words of the famous television host at the end of his shows,
"For now, Dick Clark... so long."
What are your favorite Dick Clark television moments?

After more than 13 years in the music business, Jennifer Lopez has finally decided to embark on a world tour. And, according to the latest reports, she's bringing Enrique Iglesias along for the ride.
Set to begin this summer, the 60-date tour will hit Europe, Asia, the U.S. and Latin America. JLo plans to kick off the festivities this June in Brazil, where fans can expect a run through of all her classic hits.
Enrique will be on board for the entire run and not just as an opening act. According to Celebuzz, Iglesias has signed on as a co-headliner, which Lopez' reps say she's "very excited about."
As you may recall, Enrique famously dropped out of Britney Spears' last tour after some contractual snafus. We imagine he'll mix better with Jenny from the Block and hopefully pop in for a few live duets!

You've got to admire Cameron Diaz' honesty. Whenever she hits the interview circuit, nothing is off the table (as we famously discovered when she visited Lopez Tonight). This time out, Diaz spoke to In Style and opened up quite a bit about her personal life.
Though she didn't name names, Cameron did admit that her latest breakup hit her especially hard.
"When I was going through a bit of a heartbreak a little while ago, I said to a friend, ‘Wow, this really hurts!" she told the mag. "And he said to me, ‘That just shows you what your capacity for loving is."
Diaz also discussed her thoughts on starting a family.
"I've never said I don’t want children—I just haven't had children yet," she went on to say. "I don't know what's going to happen in my life! I could end up adopting children. I could end up with a partner who already has children. Who knows?"
Of course, she didn't dwell on her romantic life for too long. Cameron also made a point to emphasize her role as a nutrition educator, which is something she takes very seriously.
"[This new project I'm doing] is only in the blueprint stages, but I'm creating a space where I can teach healthy habits that girls can build on," she said. "I see women struggling with their bodies because they don't know how they work on basic levels, starting with nutrition. The more I talk about this with people, the more I realize how much it’s needed. I’m really throwing all of my energy into it."
Diaz is also throwing a lot of energy into promoting her new summer movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Co-starring the one and only JLo, "expect" to see it in theaters next month.

Heartthrob and actor Johnny Depp is being sued by a disabled woman who claimed Depp's bodyguards beat her up and ripped off her pants during a concert back in December.
The 52 year old disabled concert-goer said Johnny's bodyguards humiliated and roughed her up. The woman claims she was just trying to get to the VIP section of an Iggy Pop concert, and identifies herself as merely "Jane Doe." She does claim to being a professor of medicine at UC Irvine so at least that's some tangible information.
The unidentified woman says Depp's bodyguards attacked her for her cellular phone, ripping it out of her hands "one finger at a time." The woman claims the phone had highly sensitive information about her patients and is suing for unspecified damages.
"Ms Doe" also claimed the hired thugs went crazy, put her in handcuffs, and dragged her on the ground. This caused her to lose her pants, "exposing her buttocks to the other Hollywood Palladium Theater patrons."
In this day and age of the internet, camera phones, and instant uploads, I am really surprised this isn't all over YouTube.
The strangest thing about this is that the woman was originally identified as Robin Eckert. However, law enforcement officials report that she was highly intoxicated at the time she made the initial police report.
The woman claims she suffered several injuries at the hands of the bodyguards, including bleeding, swelling, bruising, broken bones, and a dislocated left elbow. She also claims the events worsened her already existing spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia.
The police report was originally taken by LAPD immediately following the incident, but information has changed since, including the victim's identity. This case is sill being investigated, but Ms Doe/Eckert has been very uncooperative.
Do you think the woman suing Johnny Depp is just a crazy concert-goer, or does she have a legitimate case?
