Rock and roll legend and staunch Republican Ted Nugent is under the watchful eye of the Secret Service after saying he'd be "dead or in jail by this time next year" if our current president Barack Obama is re-elected.

Ted might have well been yelling "bomb" while running through an airport. The gun-happy rocker made these comments while being interviewed at a National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis during the weekend. He compared the president and his administration to "coyotes" that needed to be taken out and encouraged eligible voters to "chop [Democrats'] heads off in November."

Whoa! Tune that amp down a notch, Ted. Not every member of the NRA might agree with what you have to say. Call me crazy, but some might think you're being a rabble-rouser.

Needless to say, these statements not only caught the attention of the Secret Service, but have also caused a backlash from Democrats groups and the like. Mitt Romney has been advised to distance himself from Nugent so he won't be associated with the anti-Democratic sentiment.

The chair of DNC, Debbie Wasserman, tweeted her thoughts on Ted's controversial words,

"Romney surrogate Ted Nugent's comments about Pres. Obama are vile & beyond the pale-- and the Romney campaign should denounce them immediately."

Andrea Saul, a spokeswoman from the Romney camp, said,

"Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from. Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil."

Nugent went on a conservative radio station to stand by his comments and saying they were "100 percent positive."

Needless to say, the Secret Service has Ted Nugent under strict scrutiny in case he decides to do anything crazy, as Nugent assured he would. Not the brightest thing you've said, Ted. I know you like to be controversial, but this is politics, not rock and roll.

Do you think Ted Nugent was too harsh with his comments about the Obama administration?

Demi Moore is back in the limelight for the first time since her rehab visit and this time it was all for business, not partying in the clubs. Moore was out celebrating the launch of a new television show, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, which she co-created with Amanda herself. The show premiered last night, April 17.

Demi's pal and star of the show, Amanda, dished on Demi's directorial debut since her rehab stay. Amanda said,

"She is really enjoying going behind the camera, she's a really good director. She's not someone that's like, 'Oh I can't make that phone call.' If she's on she's on, she's in. She doesn't do things half-arsed. It was great to have her involved."

This Beverly Hills outing was Demi's first public appearance since she completed her rehab treatment. Demi also made an appearance on Twitter, a social network she had always been really active on in the past.

While Demi has been known as @mrskutcher up until this point, that might no longer be appropriate, for obvious reasons. She is looking for a new username, and is not afraid to seek advice from her followers. Demi tweeted,

"Time for a change, twitter name change... any suggestions?"

What do you think Demi's new Twitter name should be?

Axl Rose is still dwelling on not attending the Guns And Roses inauguration in to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He recently wrote another letter to his fans, apologizing for not attending the Cleveland ceremony last weekend.

For someone who doesn't want to be associated with Guns And Roses, Axl sure seems to be beating that dead horse. Axl wrote,

"I would like to apologize to Cleveland, Ohio for not apologizing to them beforehand for not attending [the ceremony] in their city. I think they know how much I genuinely love performing there. Cleveland does in fact Rock!!"

Is Axl on drugs? What's with the long-winded letters in the media lately? He's out of the spotlight for who knows how long, and all of a sudden he can't get enough media attention. And why does he have to be so verbose?

Axl also shared how he was "unbelievably relieved" to have received all the positive feedback from his fans after announcing he will not be attending the Guns And Roses reunion at the inauguration. He said he "sincerely didn't want to disappoint anyone. It gets old being the outlaw even if 'it's only rock and roll.'"

Do you think Axl has lost his marbles?

True Blood stars Ana Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting a baby. Paquin, the 29 year old actress that plays Sookie Stackhouse on the HBO hit series, just confirmed she is pregnant and due in the fall.

Moyer and Paquin first laid eyes on each other while filming the pilot of True Blood. They are now happily married in real life and going strong. Moyer plays sexy vampire Bill Compton on the show, one of Sookie's love interests.

While their romance on the series might not always be red hot, they are definitely on fire in real life. They decided to make their on-screen romance into non-fiction, so they got married in 2010.

While this will be Paquin's first child, Moyer has two other children from prior relationships. Judging by the looks of these two co-stars, this will be one gorgeous baby. We wish this happy couple all the best.

True Blood's fifth season will be debuting this summer on June 10. Tune in to HBO to catch more steamy vampire action in this supernatural drama series.

Are you excited to see Sookie and Bill reproduce?

Who knew Kate Del Castillo was an undercover speed demon? This past weekend, the Mexican novela star hit the track with a host of other celebs for the Long Beach Toyota Pro Celebrity Race.

Kate wound up nabbing 10th place (not too shabby) among the 18 participants. Former Man Show star Adam Carolla took the grand prize, with CSI: NY's Hill Harper coming in a close second.

Several other Latinos strapped in for the event too, including UFC fighter Cain Velasquez and Cuban-American actor Eddie Cibrian. Cibrian actually earned a few headlines that day after his stock car crashed into a wall.

As with most celebrity events, the entire race was held in the name of charity. Del Castillo earned her children's foundation $5,000 for her top ten placing…and quite a lot of street cred in the NASCAR boys' club!

Demi Lovato's stylists certainly had their hands full this past weekend in Venezuela. During her whirlwind tour of South America, the pop diva came in close contact with several eager fans who wound up pulling out lochs of her hair!

"17 freaking bodyguards yesterday and I STILL got my hair pulled!!! Hahahahaha Venezuela you are INSANE!!! I love you guys," she tweeted after the incident.

Clearly Demi took it all in stride and even joked about how her massive army of bodyguards seemed to get overpowered. Despite the mishap, Lovato put on a spectacular concert and worked in several new songs.

Demi will be in South America for the remainder of the week, hitting up Peru, Brazil and Chile for shows. Hopefully she can pick up a few sombreros along the way to protect that precious pelo!

Have you seen Demi perform live yet? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

William Levy delivered a sizzling performance last night on Dancing With The Stars with his sexy tango, which gave him a nearly perfect score.

Levy left the crowd stunned and wanting more after dancing a sensual Argentine tango on the show. The Cuban actor danced with great passion and rhythm to the Pussycat Dolls' song 'Buttons.' Judges had nothing but positive comments for Levy.

Carrie Ann Inaba even compared him to a Cuban 007. She said,

"You are so convincing! All I could think about was the Latin dancing James Bond."

Len Goodman stated, "

I saw mood, I saw passion. I saw sensuality and talent. Well done."

It's no secret that Bruno Tonioli has a great fondness for William. Bruno said the dance was "sexy and slick" and added,

"Pulsating passion. [It had] throbbing intensity."

Co-host Brooke Burke commented,

"If William and I could hear each other, we are going to talk for a minute. The crowd went crazy once again for you! Not that anyone noticed tonight, but you have a hurt ankle and you missed rehearsal yesterday and you had an MRI."

Despite Levy's hurt ankle during rehearsals, he nailed this performance. The crowd went wild after his dance, and one could barely hear him speak over the audience's hoots and hollers.

Levy disclosed he had injured a ligament, saying it was ripped off. He added,

"Today, no resting."

Wow. That's impressive. What a trooper. William had to nail his performance tonight, after last week's not-so-great rock-and-roll jive. Sensing he would be in the bottom two this week, he decided to kick it up a notch, and that he did.

Levy said,

"Last week we had a trick and it went wrong. This week we have three of them, harder than the one we had last week. So, I don't want to mess it up again. This Latin week is going to be more challenging than I thought. When people expect you to come out and do so well, it's a lot of pressure because you don't want to let them down."

Levy added some thoughts about the difference of dancing tango from the other dances he chose during previous performances. He said,

"[With the] Argentine tango you have to be more serious, more aggressive, more passionate. [But] I don't think that's going to be a problem."

No sir, it is not. I don't think I'd be going out on a limb here when I say Levy did all those things and then some.

William's dancing partner Cheryl Burke had some comments for Levy, advising him to be patient and not get frustrated so easily. She said,

"William was putting a lot of pressure on himself. But, he just needs to relax and take everything step by step."

How did you like William Levy's tango on Dancing With The Stars?

Courtney Love reunited with Hole after 15 years of absence. The frontwoman performed in New York with her former band members, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Eric Erlandson, and Schemel, at the Public Assembly Concert Hall.

The performance was held in conjunction with Patty Schemel's documentary titled Hit So Hard. The band members were unsure whether Love would join them in concert, given Courtney's erratic history of unusual behavior.

Courtney Love picked a fine time to reunite with her former band. She was recently in the media spotlight for a crazy Twitter rant involving Dave Grohl and her daughter, Francis Bean Cobain. Not sure what story is more random.

At least Courtney later tweeted an apology,

"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you."

The reunion was a surprise to everyone. Bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur asked onstage,

"Is there a lady still in the house that wants to join us for a song? You never know- we never know."

It is then that Courtney appeared and began singing 'Miss World,' a Hole classic. They also played 'Over The Edge,' a song by a Portland punk band called the Wipers.

Eric Erlandson had come together with Melissa Auf Der Maur and Schemel earlier this April for the Letters To Kurt release, Erlandson's memoir in the form of letters to the late Nirvana singer, Kurt Cobain, and former friend.

I am actually glad this impromptu reunion happened. I liked Hole's music, and I can't help but wonder if this is just what Courtney needs to get her life back together, assuming it's not too late. I don't think it's going to happen, though.

Do you think Hole should get back together?

Pippa Middleton might have made countless headlines with her stunning bottom, but now she is in the media for an entirely different reason. It seems she is under scrutiny for an incident in Paris involving her being photographed in a car driven by a friend waving a pistol.

Pippa's pistol-wielding friend was waving a gun around while driving his Audi, and at one point even aimed the gun at one of the paparazzo. Needless to say, this is not only stupid, but illegal. Even if the gun is fake, which a source reports that it is, they could still receive a sentence of two years. If the gun was real, however, they would have been looking at up to seven years in prison.

Not very lady-like or favorable to the royal family. Pippa's photos have cased an uproar in the media. The papers described Pippa as "smirking witlessly," and the driver was ripped as he "moronically aims a pistol in a Paris street... the height of stupidity."

No news yet on whether the paparazzo will make a formal complaint, but nevertheless, this is not the kind of publicity Middleton wants at the moment. Pippa was in Paris for a party held by a French aristocrat, Arthur de Soultrait. She was also spotted with "well connected young men" during her Paris visit.

Aymeric de Drouas, a spokesman for the French clothing company owned by de Soultrait, said the gun was a toy and the paparazzi knew it all along. Middleton had told him they had been joking with the photographers after they had been tailed and photographed on the way to de Soultrait's party. Police have neither received any complaints from the photographers nor plan to pursue an investigation.

Do you think it was stupid of Pippa and her friend to wave a toy gun at photographers?

Robin Gibbs has been suffering from failing health lately, going under the knife to remove a blood clot after a surgery to fix a twisted intestine. He has also been battling liver and colon cancer after a tumor was discovered during an unrelated surgery.

The legendary Bee Gees singer is in a London hospital under a coma, surrounded by his family and loved ones who hope he pulls out of it soon. The singer's website issued a statement,

"Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma. We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through."

The 62 year old singer is at a hospital in Chelsea, west London, where his wife, brother, and three children are keeping a bedside vigil.

Gibb had made a spectacular recovery from his cancer treatment back in February and was expected to keep getting better, until his health took a turn for the worse. Gibb was scheduled to attend the premiere of his first classical work, The Titanic Requiem, in time for the 100th anniversary of the sinking ship. Sadly, he will not be in attendance.

RJ Gibb, Robin's son, said,

"The one place he really wanted to be in two and a half years he couldn't be and it was heartbreaking. He's still in the hospital. He's fighting a lung infection. As a lot of people who've had family members or friends who have been through a cancer bout know, there are a lot of periphery problems afterwards that you have to deal with. He will have to keep scrutiny on this for his entire life and, God willing and we're all praying for him, he comes through and makes a speedy recovery."

Leslie Phillips, an 87 year old actor and close friend of Gibb, said to the papers,

"It saddens me deeply- poor Robin has taken a serious turn for the worse. I feel very sad if it is true that he has only days to live."

Do you think Robin Gibb will pull out of this, or do you think the coma and pneumonia are too severe?
