New York Fashion Week officially came to a close Thursday, Feb. 17, with shows from Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, Oscar de la Renta, Isaac Mizrahi, Calvin Klein and Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B line, to name a few.

Ralph Lauren took Shanghai chic to the next level with Asian-inspired retro wear, classic tailoring and hints of red.

Francisco Costa's Calvin Klein collection was simply executed with clean lines and boxy voluminous shift dresses. Zoe Saldana, Kerry Washington and Kate Bosworth added some much-needed spice to the CK show, sitting front row with fabulous footwear.

Isaac Mizrahi wowed the crowd with his pastel-palleted "Cake" collection. The designer even sent confectionery three-tiered treats (from his friend, Cake Boss Buddy Valastro) down the runway, along with poodles dyed to match his pastel motif.

Rocker Gwen Stefani closed the event with her L.A.M.B fall/winter collection. The designer's line consisted of a few different looks broken down by style groups: "Soldier Girls" in tough military garb; "Raga Muffin," featuring bright prints and head wear; "London Town" inspired masculine English prep wear with plaids and pinstripes; and "Buffalo Beauties," featuring the season's hottest color camel in full blast with maxi dresses and sporty shorts.

Wearing a leopard print jumpsuit, Gwen was joined by her son Kingston during her finale walk to Stefani's own "What You Waiting For."

Zoe Saldana is having the best year ever! She recently won a Women in Film award, got engaged, and has now been tapped to become the new face of Calvin Klein's latest underwear campaign.

Saldana will unveil the lingerie maker's Envy line in a global, multimedia campaign rolling out in October.

“We feel strongly that Zoe’s natural beauty and authenticity in the upcoming Calvin Klein Underwear campaign will resonate with our consumers," company president Tom Murphy said in a statement.

Saldana gushed:

“Calvin Klein has always put forth such beautifully executed campaigns. It’s very exciting for me to be associated with such an iconic, globally recognized brand."

Zoe joins the beautiful Eva Mendes in a select group that have landed this coveted gig.

Twilight's Kellan Lutz joins Eva Mendes as one of the new faces bodies of Calvin Klein. Steamy!

The 24-year-old actor will be featured in Calvin Klein’s new underwear campaign for their X underwear line. Kellan joins CK underwear veterans like Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham; so he definitely has some big boxer briefs to fill!

Kellan’s Calvin campaign launches March 1st, but he’ll be putting his pants back on to reprise his role as Emmett Cullen in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse when the film hits theaters on June 30.

Eva Mendes was recently criticized for her very provocative Calvin Klein ad...

But it wasn't the lace underwear that took people by surprise. Apparently some critics haters think the actress-turned-model is too curvy to pose for high fashion campaigns. Wait, we thought the whole Kate Moss fad was over back in the early 90s?! Claro, Eva la diva isn't keeping her mouth shut about the comments.

Here is what she had to say about her curvas:

I don’t have a starving body I have a healthy toned body. I don’t think people should criticize my advert. I prepped for it a lot and I think it’s great. It was in the desert and we were all oiled up for it. That’s my job!

Calvin Klein and Eva Mendes are like the Pedro Almodóvar and Penelope Cruz of sexy advertisements.

The pair has managed to establish the perfect sweat-free partnership based on a mutual amor for lace underwear. Judging on Eva's smokin' fall 2009 ad campaign, la chica also has a visual love affair with model Jamie Dornan. The black-and-white spread makes Kate Moss' poses look PG 13 in comparison! Will your lustful stares equal more Calvin Klein Underwear in your drawers?

Let's just hope the fellas stay away from las tangas!

These days it appears that Eva Mendes has been flashing her goodies more than your average sex kitten. The Cuban vixen has been caught stripping naked for Calvin Klein ads and Vogue Italy Magazine, but the 'Eva diva' is pulling up her panties for the latest issue of Marie Claire Magazine.

Despite her openness on camera, the Cubana admits that she still has reservations about how much she reveals to the public:

Think about what this whole culture of celebrity has done to movie stars. It's made them extinct. Actors used to carry films because people would have to actually go to the movies to see them. It was the only place. But now there's none of that mystique, and so there's less of a reason to buy a ticket.

Why is homegirl acting like she is an Academy Award winning actress? This lady is all about business! Selling underwear and perfume is one thing, but luring fans into the theaters is another.

If you've seen paparazzi pics of Eva Mendes hitting the gym recently now you know why.

There's a new face for Calvin Klein underwear and it's brown. Yup, in an attempt to get more Latinos spendin' their dinero on lacy underthangs, CK enlisted la Cubana Eva Mendes for its latest underwear campaign called "Calvin Klein Seductive Comfort".  Says Mendes about the brand:

I wear [Calvin Klein] G-strings all of the time on the red carpet and when shooting for a film because you don't see the [panty] lines. [WWD]

This new collection is designed for  "curvy" figures.  Guess CK finally realized that not every chica has the waifish ways of Kate Moss when stripped to her skivvies.

Calvin Klein CEO Tom Murry talks about the new initiative, saying the ads are:


A departure from more slender body types that have typically been used in Calvin Klein Underwear ads…This product is made for a curvaceous woman.

We're one step closer to getting goods that might actually fit us Latinas right? Pero, do you think Eva is really the poster-child for curves?  Let's face it -- this Hollywood honey is still many patatas fritas away from touting the traditional trasero.
