It’s amazing how fast an año can fly by. It seems like just yesterday we were breaking stories about A-Rod and Cameron’s first hookup, Pau Pau’s pregnancy, and a hot new artist by the name of Prince Royce. And trust us, there will be plenty more chisme in the coming year. But before we get into all that, we thought it would be fun to look back at the best Blogamole stories of 2010.

The year definitely started on a somber note with the 7.0 earthquake that rattled Haiti on January 12. Thankfully the entertainment community rose to the occasion, organizing the Hope For Haiti Now telethon, which raised over $58 million in relief funds. Our coverage received tons of positive feedback from Blogamole fans, who shared their stories and found the activism within the Latino community to be particularly inspiring.

March brought us another pivotal moment in Latino history (which we’re sure broke many hearts). Late that month, Ricky Martin officially came out on his website, declaring, “I am a fortunate homosexual man.” It took a lot of courage for Ricky for to make that move, but Blogamole fans embraced him every step of the way. Since his revelation, Martin has became a new role model for gay Latinos, even scoring Out Magazine’sEntertainer Of The Year.”

2010 also brought us quite a bit of Exclusive Entrevistas. Everybody from Selena Gomez to Justin Timberlake shared their thoughts with the Tr3s microphone. But one icon we found particularly fascinating was horror director George A. Romero. In a very revealing interview that went on to span five blogs, he shared his thoughts on comics, zombies, and his Latino heritage.

When it comes to politics, no topic stirred up as much heat as Arizona’s SB 1070 law. Team Blogamole followed this controversial anti-immigrant bill from its earliest stages, to its sweeping protests, to the federal ruling that finally shot it down. We highly recommend checking out the 2010 documentary, 9500 Liberty, to learn more about what went into this extremely divisive issue.

On a lighter note, what fun would 2010 have been without a few awesome live events?! Tr3s hit all kinds of carpets for high-profile happenings like the Video Music Awards and the Scott Pilgrim premiere. But, we also made sure you got a taste of some of the more unique scenes like New York’s Latin Alternative Music Conference and the Afro-Punk Festival! Our cameras captured a ton of candid moments from the summer jam and even scored some interviews with a few names you may recognize.

What were your favorite Blogamole stories from 2010? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3!

There is no doubt that Juanes and his wife Karen Martinez are natural born hippies...

And like true hippies, they are coming up with a very 'unique' nombre for their hijito. According to reports, the parents of three are naming their son after their dog Dante. Claro, the true inspiration for the name comes from an ode to the "Divine Comedy" and "The Infierno" Italian poet and writer, Dante Alighieri. Who knew that a narrative about traveling through the depths of hell and innocent babies go hand-in-hand!

Que juxtaposition...perhaps Juanes' baby boy will turn out to be an English professor. No crees? [People en Español]

Irresistible cocky attitude and smokey lyrics that make you want to get loose like it's prom every sabado...

Only Pitbull delivers this level of straight-up satisfaction. He has been serving up a mouthwatering taste of summer with his latest single “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)," but what else does El Cubano have in store for us? He rescued the mainstream from generic vibes with his lengua afuera attitude in his hit album "El Mariel" and reintroduced us to spring love freestyle for his third LP "The Boatlift." Now it's time for take three, including with a new indie record label. MTV News recently sat down exclusively with Mr. 305 to find out what he has in store for his upcoming album.

Domestic violence used to be a topic seldom discussed in the headlines...

But several high-profile cases, including Rihanna and Chris Brown's incident in February, has lifted the lid on the boiling topic's reality. Alexis y Fido certainly aren't holding back their thoughts against the personal matter, which affects an average of 2.5 million households a year according to athealth.com. Despite their positive intentions, the "Down to Earth" duo have received criticism for showing the reality of abusive relationships.

We recently spoke to Alexis y Fido about their upcoming single "No Debe Tocarte":

Yo siempre se lo dije a Alexis, quería hacer un tema que hablara de la violencia doméstica, ¿me entiendes?, que lo estamos viendo a diario en las noticias, en Puerto Rico en cualquier país. Muchas mujeres, pues tú sabes, están pasando por cosas en el hogar que yo digo, personalmente, que no deben pasar un hombre, ¿me entiendes?, porque un hombre no debe tratar una mujer así de pegarle o cualquier una violencia verbal también.

These fellas are proving that women count for way more than the video model scene. What is wrong with getting real about domestic violence verdad? [MTV TR3s Radio Noticias]

We are officially defusing the jealousy war between Juanes and Shakira!

Rumor has it that the Colombian superstars have a secret hatred towards one another based on who receives more merit for their political and social efforts. Juanes recently snagged the America's Trust Humanitarian award for his relief efforts to help landmine victims in Colombia through his organization, “Fundacion Mi Sangre,” while Shaki has been invited to perform at Barack Obama's inauguration in January 2009. Despite their varied philanthropy projects, Juanes and Shakira weave together a common thread of peace in all of their charitable works. The roquero recently set the record straight about the "Hips Don't Lie" superstar.

He assures:

No hay ningún tipo de diferencias (con Shakira). Ni siquiera nos conocemos lo suficiente como para decir que somos amigos o enemigos. De parte mía, hay una admiración muy grande hacia ella en lo musical.

With only 17 days to go until the Twilight release, actor Kellan Lutz can already see the hype swelling...

Without getting his head gassed. Bueno, he should with an upcoming blockbuster movie and two music video appearances on his resume! Besides being in Hilary Duff's video for "With Love," MTV News just caught up with Lutz while shooting the video for Hinder's new single, "Without You."

He had this to say about his role as the "bad boyfriend":

There's a scene where Amy sees me talking to another girl, flirting around," he explained. "Then she starts to cry. And, bless her heart, I start yelling at her, and it's so weird, because I've never yelled at a girl before. It felt really out of character for me to be saying this stuff and act the way I did for that scene. Hopefully it looks great, but it felt funny.

Famous for his "good guy" role in "Prison Break", Boricua actor Amaury was excited to finally play a bad guy:

It was a great opportunity/ challenge to play a bad guy...I got to go to dark places that I don't get to see much.

Watch the video and find out what sealed the deal for Ludacris. If you look closely you can see the infamous sprinkler scene he spoke about in his exclusive interview with Blogamole. Max Payne is now playing in theaters nationwide.
