With will.i.am currently kicking off a solo career, the time seems right for fellow Black Eyed Pea Taboo to do the same. And that's exactly what he's planning. But interestingly, Taboo's next project will be in Spanish and he'll be bringing along Sie7e for some musical inspiration.

Fresh off his Latin Grammy win for Best New Artist, Sie7e seems primed for some mainstream attention. And that's what this latest project looks like it will offer. Sie7e has already confirmed that he's been in touch with Taboo and seems excited about what they're planning to create.

"Taboo's going to record an album in Spanish," he told People en Español. "And he asked me to contribute a few songs."

In case you didn't know, Taboo's real name is Jaime Luis Gómez and he's never been shy about his Mexican roots. But will his style mesh well with Sie7e's laid back surfer grooves? We're very eager to find out!

Are you looking forward to Taboo’s solo album? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

It's one of the most talked about performances of the year, and now it's being reported that Madonna is to take center stage at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday, February 5, 2012.

The sports website SB Nation is reporting that Madonna will take to the Lucas Oil Stadium to perform during the halftime show.

The NFL is not commenting and Madonna's rep says there's "nothing to confirm at this point"... which is pretty much a given confirmation.

Last month Madonna confirmed that she’s been recording a new album with producers William Orbit -responsible for the success of her 1998 album Ray of Light- and French DJ Martin Solveig of the inescapable "Hello".

The idea was to release a new single in the winter, with the album out Spring, 2012. But now an even better idea is to release the first single in her first album in over three years, And what a better crowd to release it to performing to the vast Superbowl audience!

Halftime tradition of the past few years after the Janet and JT unforgettable wardrobe malfunction  has featured iconic respected and beloved artists in the likes of The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, and The Rolling Stones. After the Black Eyed Peas disappointment last year, it makes sense that the NFL calls upon someone like Madonna to clean up the mess of previous years.
Doubters might question Madonna's ability to be family-friendly, or the wisdom in bringing her estrogen-powered hits into a testosterone-fueled environment. But Madonna was born to play at venues like the Super Bowl.

What do you make of the prospect of Madonna headlining the Super Bowl? Do you think it's a good idea?

It looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride to the Michael Forever concert. Set to take place right in the middle of the Conrad Murray trial, the Michael Jackson tribute show has been mired with slow ticket sales, family arguments, and now a no-show from the Black Eyed Peas!

Fergie and company officially pulled out of the event and have yet to give a clear reason. According to their management, the Peas will no longer be performing "due to unavoidable circumstances." What exactly does that even mean?

Perhaps the expected low turnout may have something to do with it. Set to happen this weekend in Wales, the concert has yet to sell out and has been building very little buzz on Facebook and Twitter. Even Michael's family is at odds about attending.

So far, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and a host of others are still expected to perform. But for all you die-hard MJ fans out there, you may be better off saving your money for his Vegas Cirque du Soleil show.

Do you think the Michael Forever concert will bomb? Sound off in the comments or @MTV3.

There is no denying that Ryan Seacrest's IHeartRadio Music Festival exceeded expectations. The massive two-day event brought 12,000 fans to the MGM Grand Garden Arena and featured over-the-top performances from Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, and Lady Gaga!

Sporting massive jumbotron screens, extravagant costumes, and a bevy of choreographed backup dancers, the IHeartRadio setup definitely showed off the best that Vegas has to offer. Tr3s faves The Black Eyed Peas kicked off the event on Friday, blasting through their all-time greatest hits. Tracks like "I Gotta Feeling,"  "Don’t Stop the Party," and "Boom Boom Pow" got the crowd on their feet quick (and so did Fergie's glittery ensemble).

From there, IHeart switched over to another Seacrest fave, original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson. She was followed by the always-reliable Bruno Mars who belted out modern classics like "The Lazy Song," "Grenades," and "Just the Way You Are." Bruno even threw out another tribute to Amy Winehouse with an energetic performance of "Valerie."

Carrie Underwood, Jane's Addiction, and Coldplay (who are also working the Rock In Rio festival later this week) kept the music flowing Friday night, but none of them could compare to the evening's closer. Daddy-to-be Jay-Z brought down the house, first with a live Alicia Keys duet, then with a nonstop barrage of his most famous songs (like "99 Problems," "Big Pimpin'" and more!).

Day two was just as exciting, with continued contributions from Seacrest's A.I. cohorts. Steven Tyler kicked off Saturday night with Aerosmith hits and his new solo single, "Feels So Good." Interestingly, fellow judge Randy Jackson backed Tyler up with some heavy guitar work on the stage.

Nicki Minaj appeared next and was literally wheeled on by a group of dancing doctors. Then came some country twang courtesy of Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney. But after that, it was pure diva! Jennifer Lopez appeared in a dazzling flapper dress and treated the crowd to a video montage of her most famous fashion choices. She then took the mic for songs like "I'm Real," "On The Floor," and her newest single, "Papi."

Obviously J. Lo is hard to top, but Saturday night's closer may just have done it. Lady Gaga was IHeart's final performer and gave the concert one hell of a sendoff. Appearing in leather, chains, and see-through tights, the Little Monster blew threw her Born This Way hits and even got Sting to perform a duet of "King Of Pain" with her.

Truly an event to remember, Ryan Seacrest should be very happy with IHeart's final tally. The event sold a massive amount of tickets and will most certainly be on the Vegas roster for a return show next year!

Forget Grammys and Hall of Fame inductions, you know you've truly arrived once you get your own wax figure at Madame Tussauds! Stacy Ann Ferguson (aka "Fergie" from The Black Eyed Peas) has now entered the exclusive club as she unveiled her polished doppelganger this past week.

Playfully posing with her stone-faced statue, Fergie was all smiles at the Venetian press room in Las Vegas. Her waxed clone was decked out in the famous BEP "TRON suit" and cost an astonishing $300,000 to create.

Some are already arguing that the figure doesn't quite resemble its real-life counterpart and they may have a point. Upon closer inspection, Tussuads Fergie seems to have lot more in common with Carmen Electra than "The Duchess."

Nevertheless, we're sure it will fit nicely alongside waxed up Eva Longoria and Lady Gaga. As for the real Fergie, she's got a big Vegas weekend ahead. Stacy and the Peas will be headlining Sin City's massive IHeartRadio concert this weekend.

It's that time of year again. A time when 700-pound women mingle with 115-year-old great-great-grandmas. Yup, the Guinness Book of World Records team has announced their newest entries and quite a few Latinos have made the list.

New Yorker Victor De Leon was able to make the cut though. At just 13-years-old, he's officially the "Youngest Person to be a Professional Video Gamer." Nicknamed "Li'l Poison," Victor has been dominating consoles since the age of two! He's already kicked major butt in the annual Halo tournament and now has a contract with Major League Gaming, making him a button-mashing force to be reckoned with!

One contender who we were really rooting for was Edward “Niño” Hernandez. Colombia's “Smallest Man” fought hard to make it into this year’s book. But alas, he was trumped by Nepal's Khagendra Thapa Magar, who measures just 26 inches.

Of course, the Latino community could still have a shot at the "World’s Oldest Woman" prize. Brazilian-born Maria Lucimar Pereira recently celebrated her 121st birthday, putting her a full six years ahead of the current titleholder (an American named Besse Cooper). The problem is, since Maria is indigenous, proper birth records could not verified. Thus, Guinness has refused to acknowledge her entry.

In addition to Victor de Leon's, the Big Apple earned another notable Guinness title this past year. Last August, the city built "The World’s Largest Piñata." Measuring over 60 feet tall, it was made in the shape of a giant Pretzel M & M and we're sure it doled out tons of chocolatey candies.

On the music side of things, Tr3s faves The Black Eyed Peas got themselves a pretty astonishing record. Their smash single "I Gotta Feeling" recently became the biggest-selling download in the UK, exceeding over one million purchases.

And finally, what Guinness Book of Records story would be complete without a "World's Hairiest Man" mention? Yes, the Latinos dominated that category too with Mexico's Larry Gomez keeping the title and proudly displayed his body full of fuzz. But, it's important to note that there's a new furry contender on the block. Thailand's Supatra Sasuphan nabbed the 2012 "Hairiest Child" moniker for her feathery facial mane.

Just look at the imagery on the latest Black Eyed Peas album and you can tell the group appreciates a good video game. And now the hip-hop quartet will get digitized themselves, with news breaking that they have partnered with software developer Ubisoft.

This week BEP announced that they were developing The Black Eyed Peas Experience. Similar to the Michael Jackson game that was released last year, the Peas Experience will be a dance sim hooked into all of their most famous hits.

But don't think the guys are just tacking their name on for some quick cash. Fergie, wil, Taboo, and apl.de.ap will all participate in motion capture sessions for the title. They will also record lines and lyrics specific for the game.

"We are thrilled to be working with Ubisoft to create The Black Eyed Peas Experience video game," will.i.am. said. "Ubisoft has both redefined and dominated the dance category in the video game industry and we can't wait to be part of taking that to the next level by infusing an experience that's 100 percent authentic to The Black Eyed Peas."

Available for both the Nintendo Wii and the Xbox Kinect, the Peas Experience is expected to ship quite a few units when it hits stores. But interestingly, they may have some stiff floor-stomping competition in the next few months. UbiSoft is also planning to launch a Smurfs Dance Party title by late summer.

Two of the queens of pop music set the the tune for a huge night at 2011 Billboard Music Awards held in Las Vegas's MGM Grand. In a surprise treat, Britney Spears joined Rihanna for a dueling-poles duet performance of her hit song "S&M," before ceding the stage to host Ken Jeong, who hammed it up with Nicki Minaj and Train front man Pat Monahan.

Taylor Swift's album, "Speak Now," which sold over one million copies, took home the first big prize of the night, snagging the Album Artist of the Year. She was joined in the winner's circle by web sensation Justin Bieber (who shared smooch with girlfriend Selena Gomez), and "Dynamite" British pop star Taio Cruz, who snagged a Song of the Year honor, but not my heart. It was a near thing, but then I realized he was chewing gum while he performed a medley of his 2011 hits, "Dynamite" and "Break Your Hearts." Classy!

Shakira and Enrique Iglesias were awarded "Top Latin Artist" and "Best Latin Album" respectively, although neither was able to claim their statuettes onstage at the ceremony. Pitbull and Ne-Yo, Cee-lo Green, Ke$ha and the Black Eyed Peas all took the stage and rocked the house so hard they woke up tourists in hotels on the other end of the Strip.

The night's standout moment came when Beyoncé performed her latest track "Run the World (Girls)" after a star-studded video introduction featuring luminaries such as Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder and Barbra Streisand, to name a few.

Amid fireworks, shooting flames and backed by what seemed like a hundred dancers, Queen B absolutely KILLED IT. As the lights rose on the thunderously applauding audience, her mother, Tina Knowles, presented Queen B with the first-ever Millennium Award, leaving not a single dry eye in the auditorium. Except maybe her husband, Jay-Z, who likely does not cry. Or maybe that's why he was wearing sunglasses indoors, at night. Awww.

What was your favorite moment of the 2011's Billboard Awards?

Rio star and Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am recently dropped some interesting knowledge on Elle readers when the always futuristic front man shared a few dos and don'ts for potential women in his life. Here's a 'How To to Will's heart':

DO: Wipe the sink when you're done using it.

"[A] pet peeve is wet sinks. You don’t wipe the sink after you use it? Dry it off!"

DON'T: Have your own condom stash.

"If she had condoms in her house, that would just f****** throw me off. That’s just tacky. I just think, like, if you’re into someone and you guys get to that level, then that’s something you should converse about together and say, “Hey, maybe we should get some.”'

DO: Have baby wipes, in addition to toilet paper.

"And if she’s got only dry toilet paper and no baby wipes next to the toilet. [I'd ask] You ain’t got no baby wipes?  Here’s proof on why people should have baby wipes. Get some chocolate, wipe it on a wooden floor, and then try to get it up with some dry towels. You’re going to get chocolate in the cracks. That’s why you gotta get them baby wipes."

That's one visual we didn't need. What do you think of Will.i.am's dating deal breakers?
