It's hard to believe that "our little" Anahí is about to turn 28! Especially when you consider that she's been in the public eye since she was just a teen. And even though her big day isn't until Saturday, the celebrations have already begun on the set of her new novela.

Hard at work on her highly-anticipated soap, Dos Hogares, Anahí got a very nice surprise when the cast and crew rolled in a white floral cake and sang "Las Mañanitas." Obviously surprised and touched by the gesture, the pop star spoke up to reporters who captured the moment on film.

"No me lo esperaba, muchas gracias por la sorpresa!", she happily exclaimed.

But what does the ex RBD-er have planned for her actual May 14 b-day? According to People en Español, she will be spending it in the company of her tight-knit fam.

"No soy chiquita pero bueno, mi cumpleaños es el sábado y estoy súper feliz,” Anahi told the magazine. “Para mí lo más importante es mi familia, así que decidí que quiero estar con mis papás, les dije que quiero estar todo el día en casa, comer rico".

The Material Girl turned 52 today (August 16), and she spent the past weekend celebrating in London. Parece que a Madonna no le pasan los años, and we think there’s more to it than yoga and medical assistance to keep her so fresh and young.

Madge keeps herself surrounded by jóvenes, como cuando celebró su cumpleaños este fin de semana, alongside her 24-year-old Brazilian boyfriend Jesus Luz, and her 14-year-old, half Cuban daughter, Lourdes. They kept it relatively low-key, celebrating at London’s hip Shoreditch House on Saturday (August 14).

Friends and family are said to have joined them for dinner before heading up to hang by the club’s rooftop pool.

Madonna and Lourdes have been sharing the spotlight quite often lately, también dado a la nueva linea de moda, Material Girl. If she keeps following in her mamita’s footsteps, we know one thing that’s sure to come her way… unparalleled success!

Hoy (August 11), el famoso cantante y compositor argentino Gustavo Cerati cumple 51 años. He’s been in coma for the past three months after suffering a stroke. Cerati underwent an operation earlier last week, but remains in critical condition.

The voice of arguably one of the best rock en Español bands ever, Soda Stereo, who then became a solo powerhouse in Latin music, is truly a living legend. With a cult following that has spanned decades, millones de fans esperan su regreso al escenario.

Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery. Nuestros mejores deseos en tu cumpleaños, Gus!

Toddlers, tweens, and teens have been obsessed with the lovely Selena Gomez since she began her acting career on "Barney & Friends" and later moved on to become a Disney starlet quickly garnering her own beloved show, "Wizards of Waverly Place." On Thursday (July 22) however, Gomez turned 18 and has more to look forward to than an adult male fan base and lotto tickets...Voting!

Selena said in an interview:

"I can vote now, which is exciting! My mom and step-dad are always really involved with voting and I've always said, 'Well, what’s the point of me getting into it if I can’t even vote?'"

On what party she'll choose, Gomez continued:

"I'm not in a specific place. I like to look at both candidates and see what they each have to offer."

Other than her newfound political freedoms, Selena isn't too impressed by becoming a legal adult:

"It’s weird because I don’t feel 18. Everyone keeps saying it’s a big year and I’m like, 'Is it really, though?' "

Gomez and her family will celebrate the big 1-8 this weekend with a down home Texas-style barbecue in California with 250 of her nearest and dearest.

Como un buen ron, there are just some things that seem to improve con la edad...

We can hardly believe that Jennifer Lopez is turning 40 years old today!  Her fly girl days may be over as JLo is now a married mother of two, pero la legendaria canta-actriz boricua definitely gives new meaning to the words "fly mami."  If only we could all look this great de cuarenta años, verdad?

So, how is "The Back-Up Plan" actriz celebrating her big 4-0?  Well, husband Marc Anthony just bought some stake in the Miami Dolphins, so maybe she'll get a private game?

According to inside sources, JLo and Marc Anthony will actually be celebrating en la gran manzana in the company of some of their top celebrity amigos como Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes y Victoria Beckham.  Plus, Marc is rumored to be auditioning some pro bailarines and other performers to make the fiesta extra-especial.  Ah, to be a fly on the wall at that shindig!

Alas, an insider reports to WENN that "Everything is being kept top secret. Even performers won’t be told if they have been hired until the last minute, to prevent details of the party from being leaked.  Organizers are determined to keep the media away."

The Jonas Brothers were blowing out candles for Nick's 16th cumpleaños yesterday! We hear these fellas were celebrating to the fullest, and NO the fiesta wasn't at Disneyland...

According to E! Online, the "Lovebug" singers were sharing their brotherly amor by renting out the Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium for a very private fiesta. A source reveals that only 15 guests were invited for the ballpark festivities, which lasted until 12:30 a.m. (talk about breaking their curfews!).

The cost for this ballpark celebration? It is estimated that about $60,000 was dropped for the dulce hermano. Talk about being in a scoring position! [E! Online]

Well, as long as your willing to fork-out the green for it! Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the Hannah Montana princess is selling a limited number of tickets to her sweet 16 bash at Disneyland.
